I've told so many people about this place. We've been a few times and the bar remains high! The food is incredible. We've tried 2/3 of the menu and it's all great. The environment is fun and upbeat with early 2000s commercials showing and adding a nod of nostalgia. What a fun place to dine! Asian fusion with a question in every bite..."What is that flavor I can't recall?" Service with Skyler was great. I would go back for Hamachi Crudo, Gnocchi poki, and Mi cucumber. Those were perfectly delicious! K-Wings both soy garlic and spicy tasted very nutty. I could barely taste the flavor of the wings sauce. Fortune udon was a bit too salty. I mixed it with Gnocchi poki sauce which was sweet & spicy. It turned out perfect! Mi Kitchen Can I give 6 stars? Well, 5 will have to do. Great spot, superb service, Korean tapas style food was outstanding, a wonderful evening! The restaurant is located in a retail strip (for some reason, these tend to run together for me) but there seemed adequate parking out front. We made reservations, it was a Friday, and we're glad we did. They seated us on time and our server, Abby, was attentive and professional. She kept the dishes arriving in a timely manner all evening. We were a party of four and ordered the K-pop chicken, Kimchi Risotto with Shrimp, Gnocchi Poke, Udon, Edamame Dumplings, and Glass noodles. Every dish was well prepared, with fresh flavor and so so tasty! We literally could not pick a favorite. The K-Pop chicken had the most incredible sauce, the Gnocchi Poke was also really good(we wished we had some bread to sop up every drop of the sauce though! It was really delicious!). Udon was incredible and the Glass Noodles were also wonderful (those mushrooms just soaked up all the great flavors). Edamame Dumplings were so good that even the member of our party who doesn't like truffle enjoyed them! The only negative for me was the Kimchi Risotto, the Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the risotto was very good but there was a surprise element, squid. Not sure if this is always part of this dish but the flavor permeated much of the dish and frankly, I am just a so-so fan of the squid so I might have passed? But still it was good to try. That's the beauty of the Tapas meal after all! I was also lured in like a moth to the flame, by the lights of the Capri Moon and tried one of those, the Cucumber version. Not overly sweet, fresh and refreshing. It arrives in a pouch like an adult juice pouch with a straw and glowing light nestled amongst the ice. Very festive! After our main dishes we were actually very satisfied, BUT somehow found room to sample both desserts on the menu: the bread pudding and the Caramelato. The bread pudding was really good, Vanilla Gelato was great and the berry compote was fresh and flavor FULL. BUT that Caramelato! Oh boy, that was fantastic! If you are a fan of the Caramel (and I am!) this will hit the spot. Luscious homemade salted caramel, with the crunchy bits that are a nice counter to that beautiful vanilla gelato. Sometimes a restaurant throws a couple of desserts on the menu as an after thought and they can really disappoint, NOT here! Save room, you won't be sorry. During dessert Chef came by to check on us. A very nice touch and he shared our enthusiasm for the salted caramel sauce. Who wouldn't? Highly recommend this one! read more

What a wonderful find. It's a pleasant space, some private booths and a couple rows of tables, plus an attractive bar. Though to our amusement we found the table we were seated at, across from the bar, to be very unbalanced, it kept turning in every direction whenever we barely touched it. Love that they take reservations - as soon as word gets out, I suspect this will be popular enough to be pretty much reservation only. Great respect for how they developed the menu - They keep the list of plates small enough to stay focused and ensure that each dish will be perfectly executed, but with enough variety to be fun and interesting on repeated visits. Decent selection of local and Japanese beer, though I really hope they expand to at least one draft Japanese selection (please?). The Capri Moons are brilliant, the wife is now in love with them. They are so much fun, and the two I sampled that she ordered, lychee and watermelon, were very pleasant. The presentation, with the drink pouch and a light, will make anyone smile. We split 6 dishes, including a dessert, which was plenty, especially since they were a combination of light and heavier plates. The dishes were brought out at a nice pace, only a couple on the table at any point, so the table was not overwhelmed, and we could fully enjoy each one. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. We loved almost every dish, and the only one I don't think we'd repeat order, the edamame dumpling, was good, it just wasn't to our personal tastes. We agreed that the k pop chicken and popcorn shrimp were musts - next time we'll start there and continue to try more new dishes. Get a cucumber as well, it's small, really fresh and flavorful. Holy moly! The food was AMAZING!!! Hands down best Asian food in middle TN. We ordered the K Pop Chicken which was crispy, sticky and delicious! We also ordered the Glass Noodles which had yummy mushrooms, an incredible umami bomb! I ordered the edamame dumplings as a starter and they were made with perfectly thin wrappers which is so very hard to find. As an Asian person, I'm so impressed! We also ordered a side of cucumbers which at first may sound boring to order, but you must try them because they were coated in the most delicious soy dressing that was perfectly balanced. I didn't see steam rice on the menu but we ordered some, and it really rounded out the most perfect dinner for two. I was stuffed! Will be back for more! read more

Apologies to my friends who live in Nashville proper, as I'm about to start dragging you all the way to eat in Cool Springs. I've lived in Brentwood since '91 and this is the first time I've thought there was a restaurant unique and tasty enough I can convince my friends to drive 20-30 minutes for an incredible meal. Billed as Korean fusion tapas, plates are small-medium and ideally folks order about 2 dishes a person here. LOTS of seafood options making the pescatarian part of me really happy (also a decent - but not expansive number of veggie only options). My biggest regret is not being able to try more on this first visit. The K Pop chicken was very good - super fresh and great crispy / sweet / just mildly spicy combination. I was thinking I could have done with a bit more kick but then my gochujang gnocchi came out, which had the perfect blend of slightly chewy gnocchi, sauce that was sweet and spicy enough to make my nose run a bit, making the whole dish reminiscent of a Korean favorite (tteokbokki). But it was also just elevated perfection - crispy, fine rice chips on top and a cream/mayo-like sauce to lighten up the spice. Just incredible and a must order dish. For dessert, the only option is a bread pudding but it is also just a perfectly balanced dish - warm, acidic from a Berry compote, creamy sweet ice cream oozing all over it. One of my favorite meals I've had in the greater Nashville area in months. They just opened so coming in at 5:15 on a Friday, there was no wait, but I expect that to change quickly based on how many people I saw coming in and leaving with the same amazing reaction as I did - this place is going to absolutely blow up. Stunning, beautiful and wood-paneled renovation with lots of mood lighting. Lots of easy parking in front and just attentive and wonderful service. Absolutely will be a regular here. read more

A neat fusion of Korean and Tapas with good flavors and offerings. I was with a party of four, so we got to try a number of different dishes. The Korean Fried chicken had a good flavor, being both spicy and sweet (some places use too much vinegar, which thankfully they got right). I also had the edamame dumplings, with the soy beans pureed and almost buttery in flavor. A fellow diner thought they had a hint of sweet, but I couldn't pick out that note. And lastly I found the kimchee shrimp risotto delightful. Service was mediocre and getting drink refills was a challenge. The décor is modern but still comfortable.
