Not a regular standard Thai or Chinese food. Food was ordinary... basil fried rice or the mei fun / noodles

Ordered plain chicken with steamed broccoli and white rice as well as a Szechuan chicken dish. Instead of either dish I ordered, they gave me 2 orders of some awful chicken dish covered in a terrible goopy sauce. AND they had the audacity to tell me what they served us was what I ordered. Joke of a restaurant. They should be embarrassed. Shame on them. read more

Nasty...floors were dirty, every flat surface like tables and the counter felt icky and dirty. We sat down at the only table that didn't have food left over and not cleaned off. Ordering was a chore and language barrier was tough to get through...no air conditioning and it was humid and hot. Food wise? Wow...how does this place stay open and how do they have a 95 score on the health inspection? They must be very loose in scoring around here. read more

It actually seems like they try to ruin orders. Old hard fried rice, missing items every time. When I called up after our 55 minute Uber eats order nobody spoke a lick of English. How does this happen? Seems pretty easy to pay attention to what people order and give good quality food. read more

Was slightly confused when I reviewed the feedback on yelp. I believe there is a much higher rated place by the same name in Bellevue. The food was largely frozen items reheated. The wonton in the soup was still cold in a like warm broth. My son and I ordered two different dishes but when they came out the base was the same frozen beef and frozen chicken with different sauces. The rice was the only non frozen item. I would avoid. The Chinese food place in Wal-Mart down the street is way better. read more

I like this place. Price not to high. Nice size portions. I like the way you can order online. I work across the street and online ordering makes it convenient to get there and get back. There is such a variety. I like the hot and spicy shrimp. read more

Shocked me that this place is closed, at least that is what google maps showed. I have to say, the food is very authentic, because they actually have a Chinese chef who was trained as a chef. Of course, you have to order the ones from the Chinese menu not the fusion American Chinese food that everyone makes. Sad that this place is gone. corner Asia had authentic Chinese food too but that was gone also. There really is NO authentic Chinese food in Brentwood and Nashville anymore. Very sad. I'm guessing the high ratings might be from diners who have food delivered. I walked in to eat in the dining room and when I ordered my food at the counter, the kitchen and surrounding areas were, well - we are all friends here: nasty. My apartment kitchen during my college years was spotless compared to this. I decided to try it anyway, I was in the Marine Corps and survived some pretty adventurous food. But I wasn't going to eat there on a sticky table. I took it home and ate it. I still don't understand the high ratings b/c the food wasn't great either. I had sesame chicken and the sauce was really bad. I threw away 3/4 of it. I'd be interested in other recent ratings to see if this place was a gem in the past and went down hill. Freshly prepared, "New York-style" Chinese food. If you like the Americanized Chinese Food (which I do), and are of the opinion that greasy hole-in-the-wall take-out joints are their own category (which I am), then you will love this place. We ordered Uber Eats from here and the food is terrible. We ordered the Black Pepper beef, Thai Curry with Shrimp, and steamed chicken and Broccoli. Honestly, the steamed chicken and broccoli is probably the best thing we ordered since we got what we expected with that..... flavorless steamed chicken and flavorless steamed broccoli. The other items, we expected to have some flavor. The Shrimp was mushy. And the curry was so bland, the shrimp and veggies might as well have been laid out in lukewarm water, and it would have tasted the same. Same goes for the pepper beef- no flavor at all. Like most Chinese take out places in the area, these people are rude as hell. You tell them you're there to pick up a delivery, and they proceed to be short with you... always! You ask for a pair of chop sticks... and they all but throw them at you in contempt. Horrible service. read more

I generally don't like greasy Chinese food, but was very impressed with China Panda! We used to order their take out at my work, and I craved (and still do!) the egg drop soup. Nowhere in Nashville competes with it, and I wish it was still so close to me. Great job China Panda! read more

Very good food! My spring rolls, egg rolls, and crab rangoon always come super crunchy. I order the Lo Mein and Orange Chicken every time and it hits the spot! We order delivery, and there was only one time when some of the components were wrong. The delivery drivers are usually very friendly! I highly reccomend! read more

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. China Panda was the only Chinese food delivery restaurant on the list provided by hotel. This is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The steamed dumplings were so soggy they seemed boiled. The pork fried rice was completely tasteless, and the chicken and mushrooms seemed slimy. The delivery took over an hour and the delivery driver never even looked me in the face once. All the containers had fallen on their sides and leaked leaving me with half an order of won ton soup, which was the only thing I could eat. Do yourself and future diners a favor and let this restaurant go out of business. read more

You are either going to love or hate China Panda. Good, Americanized Chinese takeout to order. The shrimp lo mein and shrimp with spicy garlic sauce was hot, fresh, and made to order. I took a chance based on the hotel suggestion. Ugh ewe, I wish there was a negative. This has to be the worst food I've ever ever had. I ordered Kung Pao chicken and I honestly cannot tell if this is chicken or beef. I asked them to make it spicy, clearly no effort at all. Disgusting and nasty. When I called to ask where my hot sauce and tell them I was not happy with the food the woman actually yelled back at me. By the way, the delivery was fine. Horrible place!! Not only is the place filthy, you can see as soon as you walking how poorly they cook their food. We came in and asked for lo main and chow main.... We got lo main and some weird onion chicken slime. The service was horrible. They didn't say one word to us and they didn't make sure the lids where closed, so obviously everything spilled on our way home. Would not recommend to any of my friends. read more

OK. This is a true story. Me and my buddy walked in to dine in and ordered our food. The menu had a good selection. A man took our order, then a young Asian lady working there went in the kitchen. The atmosphere for dining is bland. We both witnessed the lady working there pick at her nose, scratching her hair but what made us cancel our order and get our money back was that she sneezed into the basket of whatever was frying in the kitchen (which is open and viewable from the dining area thank God). We walked back up and cancelled our lunch and got our money back and I just looked at the lady and I think she read my mind. I hope they read this review! Luckily there was an awesome pizza and wings restaurant next door to dine. I will NEVER eat or order anything from China Panda. I was grossed out. Wouldn't you be? read more

I'm a student from China. The incredible food here can beat any restaurant in Nashville that claims to make authentic food. It is a bit far from where I live. But it worth the drive- even in traffic jam. We didn't take any photos, because we ate them all up before we realize that. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this place. The first time I went there the woman ended up giving my to-go order to another customer so I had to wait an extra 10 minutes on my food. She did not give me so much as an apology for screwing up. The place is SUPER DIRTY, if you have a weak stomach you better avert your eyes as you walk up to the counter. Their kitchen looks really nasty in the back. On the bright side, their food is decent and they put more meat in their meals than most other places (other Chinese joints tend to pack their dishes full of vegetables). You know it is bad for you and you are probably going to spend a good portion of your day on the toilet but it is pretty tasty so I gave them 3 stars. read more

Food is less than appealing. Ordered for delivery. It got here fast. Swwet and Sour Chicken had NO onions, pineapple, or peppers. Just chicken and rice. It wasn't bad i had to cut up my own veggies. Don't usually like to write bad reviews but I could not let this one go by without letting people know. Just moved into the area and my wife was wanting Chinese take out. This place was the closest and shame on me for not looking at reviews. After waiting an hour for the order to get here I removed the food from the bag and something right off the bat didn't smell right I seriously gagged when I put the first fork full in my mouth! The food was definitely spoiled.. I ended up tossing the whole take out order in the trash and ordered at another local place close by. I called and spoke to the driver and he said he would relay my message to the owner but I'm not expecting I'll hear anything so I'll probably dispute the $40 with my debit card. STAY AWAY PLEASE! BEFORE SOMEBODY GETS REAL SICK. I would of felt terrible if my kids and wife ate it and got sick. read more

Never been so grossed out in my life. Restruant was dirty from top to bottom. Every table was sticky. Very nice menu but could not get passed what I witnessed. Me an my friend placed our order for dine in and then found the least dirty table we could. As we were sitting at the table the young lady that was getting ready to cook the food was picking her nose and never stopped to wash her hands. As she was standing over the cooking area she begin to scatch her head and then the worse happened she sneezed on the prep area without attempting to cover her mouth. I live close by, and with the recent cold weather wanted some Chines food. Unfortunately, it was awful. The won ton soup was dark brown ( it tasted like it had soy sauce in it) and was so salty we threw it away. The fried rice had no taste; we ended up throwing the whole order away and going out for dinner. Also, do not make the mistake of arriving early to pick up your order; looking into the dirty kitchen area made me lose my appetite. This restaurant recently changed owners and they slightly remodeled the inside. It looks much better and is very clean. HOWEVER, the food quality has gone downhill. My Eggroll was burned to the point it was black. My Crab Rangoon was also burned almost beyond recognition. They've reduced the amount of sauce used when cooking so meals that used to be very flavorful are now very bland; and I'm very disappointed. I will have to find a new Chinese restaurant because I will not go back there. read more

The first two times we took out food from China Panda was awesome. The price, the quality, the amount of food was great. The last two times I've been so disappointed. I always order either Orange Chicken or General Tsao Chicken. The last time I got Orange Chicken it was so over cook it was hard all the way through and was very difficult to chew. Last night I got the General Tsao and when I ordered I told the lady that last time the chicken was way too crispy and overcook and to please not cook it so long this time. Well, it was equally overcooked and crispy. I had gotten the food to bring home to my son and he was so disappointed. It was almost inedible it was so hard to chew. So I guess I will have to find another place to get Chinese food in the Franklin area. read more

Straight up the place is nasty and there was not another customer when I walked in at 11:40 am. I placed my order and immediately checked the reviews while I was waiting. I would never advise to eat in. The food was actually decent. I That funny meat that we hope is chicken and not cat was in my dish. I looked online and found that there is a velveting process that makes the chicken that tender. So it's not cat. It was delivered very quickly and the driver was very nice. The food was good. I ordered the General Tso Chicken and it was good...not too spicy and there was a lot of sauce. I like the fact that they gave enough sauce so it was not dry. We also had sweet & sour chicken and it was awesome & the pieces were huge. Only thing that was not perfect was there were a few pieces of General Tso chicken that were crunchier than others & they don't give you a ton of rice...but they make up for it in chicken! Giving this five stars because it is as good as it gets for chinese food delivery in Franklin, TN. Food arrived ahead of when it was expected, it arrived hot, the order was done exactly to order, even with the special requests we had, the website is easy to use, payment with a card on delivery is smooth, and they threw in a couple of free items (rice and drinks). You honestly cannot get better than this (and we've tried) in Franklin. If you want chinese, this is the place to order from. read more
