    Your table awaits your arrival.
    Alex J.

Did you know that bamboo is a grass? Sure enough, it's in the grass family. So why did I start my review with this fact? Well, it's because I don't want you to let grass grow under your feet while deciding whether or not to try this restaurant! Do it!! Alex J approves. When my daughter, grandson and I visited on an early Saturday evening, it wasn't that busy......yet. There was a stream of Grub hubbers filtering in for pick up, but we, and another table, were the only ones seated for dinner. Hmmmm we thought, does this bode well for our dining experience? Spoiler alert....YES! Our thoughts needed not to be on the popularity of the B H, but were better occupied by more important things, like wondering if Springhills infrastructure is going to catch up with the unbridled home construction. Yes, Springhill is home base for my loved ones. Our orders were promptly taken, and it wasn't but a few minutes before the dishes were placed in front of our salivating selves. All of us patrons loved our meals. I had the beef noodles, my grandson the Mongolian Beef, and daughter the General Tso's chicken. Done and done. It was awfully quiet during the shoveling action. Ohhhh... was it ever a good meal. Fresh and hot. Everything was perfectly worthy of honor in the highest realm of whichever dynasty you prefer. Uhhhh, not so fast Alex J. If it was so good, then why wasn't this a five star review? Well my dear readers, it's like this. After a wonderful Chinese meal, one would expect that it would be topped off with a crisp fortune cookie with wise prophetic insights. It didn't happen in this case. Oh, the fortune was right on. Mine indicated that I am proveyor of great gastronomic knowledge. No, I didn't have issue with that tidbit of information, correct as it is, my displeasure emanated from the cookie itself. It was stale as a limp handshake. Not a good way to end a fantastic meal. Who knows, maybe they're trying to make due until the tariffs on China are settled. In the meantime, their fortunes may better be served voiced by a smiling face, rather than a rubber biscuit. Don't let the end keep you from the beginning. Alex J, you sound like Confucius! Quick Tip: If you want to have some fun, use the Lens app on your phone to translate the Chinese characters on the menu. It's pretty cool.

The food was great. They have changed management and renovated the restaurant. It is very clean now. I like the egg foo young. It is very soft. All the steak and shrimp insides are tender and juicy! Highly recommend to try. It is not the old bamboo house now. You will be impressed

From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. The first thing that stood out was their small plate concept, and I absolutely loved it. I enjoy trying a variety of dishes instead of committing to just one entrée, and this concept is something I wish more restaurants would adopt. We ended up trying almost half the menu and loved nearly every dish. A huge shout-out to our server, Nestor. He welcomed us warmly, was cheerful throughout the evening, and his recommendations were spot on. He truly made the dinner even more enjoyable. We started with a couple of mocktails, and the Purple Haze was refreshing and delicious. Here are some of our favorites: MI Cucumber - Smashed cucumber with soy dressing, crunchy chili oil, and cilantro. Simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Plantain - Fried plantains topped with sriracha goat cheese, cilantro, and crunchy gremolata. The sriracha goat cheese paired perfectly with the sweet plantains. K-Pop Chicken - Korean sweet and spicy popcorn chicken with great flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Dumplings - Homemade steamed dumplings with edamame, truffle, yuzu ponzu, and garlic confit. I really enjoyed the truffle flavor, though it may not be for everyone. Kimchi Bacon Risotto - Caramelized kimchi, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, and shrimp. One of the best dishes of the night--perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. Crispy Spicy Tuna - Spicy mayo tuna served over crispy rice. This was one of the highlights of the meal. The crispy rice was absolutely perfect. Cauliflower Taco - Crispy cauliflower with guacamole, creamy miso, and tsiran spice. The filling was flavorful, and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly. Lamb Chops - This was the only dish that felt average. The lamb was cooked well, but it was missing a bit of flavor. A little more seasoning, especially some salt, would have really elevated the dish. To finish the meal, we had the Banana Pudding with Vanilla Gelato, which was a delicious and satisfying way to end dinner. Overall, MI Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, a fun small-plate concept, and outstanding service from Nestor made this a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!

It's one of those places where everything is packed with flavor and every dish feels a little special. The Mi cucumber is absolutely to die for--especially when you put it on top of the dumplings. Trust me on that combo! The K-Pop chicken is AMAZING and a must-order every time. The arancini has such a flavorful and unique twist that really stands out. The spring roll was delicious too, full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. And the tacos... you cannot skip them. The beef tacos are incredible, and the cauliflower tacos are just as good. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here. On top of the fantastic food, the service is always great--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend!! Be sure to make a reservation!

I'm picky about lettuce wraps, but these were delicious! I will recommend and be ordering them again. I veered from what was suggested as a top sushi entree bc I was fearful of it being too spicy, so we went with a milder version ~ Crab Dragon Roll~ per the waitresses suggestion. It was definitely mild, but adding Wasabi and Ginger kicked it up a notch. I know, crazy sounding, I don't like "spicy," but I like wasabi. I'm weird! Lettuce Wraps $12.50 Stir-fried ground chicken or tofu, with shiitake mushrooms, garlic, and diced water chestnuts; served with lettuce leaves and crispy noodles Crab Dragon Roll $16.00 Shrimp tempura, cucumbers, and sesame seeds; topped with crab tempura, eel sauce, garlic mayo, and lemon Service was great, and ambiance is elegant!!

You can order either two or three, and of course I went with three! The buns were soft, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and they used just the right amount of buffalo sauce. I added blue cheese for dipping, and wow... sooo good! They also come with your choice of a side, and the Tots were a great pick. We also shared the Rainbow Roll, and I was pleasantly surprised.
