Spring rolls, OMG roll, shrimp, hibachi veggies - all yum
    Steph R.

This place is so surprising for having such a large menu and great food from a food truck. I love food trucks, but they usually are much more focused on less menu items. I've ordered here twice and had some yummy food. It is more expensive than I'd like to spend at a food truck, but the food is high quality and I'm thankful to have them in Spring Hill! I have ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi and they were both yummy. The salmon roll which was surprisingly fresh. Egg rolls - delicious. Their hibachi veggies are fantastic. I believe I also got the OMG roll (pictured) which was pretty good. Overall, lots of awesome dishes to try and everything has been delicious!

When I order raw fish I expect to be fresh. Look at this garbage. Kansha never fkin' again

You ever seen tuna look like this absolutely disgusting. It smells couldn't even try and taste it. I've never had to post a photo of bad food before but I want you to know wtf their trying to sell you

Always a popular spot in Spring Hill so don't forget to order ahead! Delicious Japanese food. The Chicken Bento Box gives you a great opportunity to try a few different things if you are new to Kansha. All delicious!

    Kansha Deluxe Hibachi Entree

This is a new food truck in the area and I was excited to try it out. The location isn't the easiest to get in and out of, but plenty of parking. I didn't get a chance to interact with the gentleman that served me, but in the quick moment I was there he was very nice. I ordered the gyoza, the rock shrimp, and the Kansha Deluxe Hibachi Entree. Everything was really good. Of the meats, the chicken and shrimp were the best. Steak was tender, but lacked some seasoning. The rice and veggies however were delicious! I look forward to trying other items on the menu!

    Shrimp Yakisoba

Kansha is fantastic! Loved the convenience of ordering online, with the food ready in under 20 minutes. The location is easy to access, and pickup was a breeze. Generous portions--both the shrimp and steak yakisoba were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender, and the shrimp was done just right. The spicy shrimp yakisoba had just the right amount of heat. Will definitely be coming back!

Very flavorful, I made my meal spicy and it was a nice kick, didn't expect that. Food done fast and friendly service. We will be back

This food, experience, and service were much better when they were a food truck/trailer at Kedron and Main. Extremely disappointing.

Unfortunately, what should have been a great experience turned into a very uncomfortable one. The gentleman who took our order was extremely rude from the start and made us feel unwelcome and clearly unwilling to respond to our questions about the menu. We initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might be a cultural misunderstanding. However, things only got worse. After we sat down, he never brought us water while consistently serving other tables. At one point, he even prepared a full table setting--with water and food--for a reservation that hadn't yet arrived, while we continued to sit there unattended. After nearly 30 minutes of awkward waiting, we were finally given water. What made the situation more concerning was the clear difference in how we(Caucasian Americans) were treated compared to other customers. He was warm, kind, and engaging with others--particularly those who appeared to share his background--but would not acknowledge or engage with us at all. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that I made the decision to leave for the sake of my daughters. As a father, it was clear they felt unwelcome, and that was not something I was willing to tolerate. I left without asking for a refund due to what seemed to be hostility. We've had many wonderful experiences at Asian restaurants, but our experience at Daylight Sushi was deeply disappointing. We did not feel welcomed, and unfortunately, we were treated in a way that made that very clear. Wish this was not the case and hopefully this was a major misunderstanding!

It still lists for $3.25 on the menu, and they bring out the equivalent of one piece of chopped lettuce in a condiment size bowl! Total rip off! It was already a very small portion, and now, not even enough to wet your whistle! Fulin's should be ashamed to serve the mini cup size and not even lower the price! I will NOT support such a poor move on their part and purchase the salad again, unless they go back to the original size or lower the price a couple of dollars for the amount they served me today! There are similar places around, where I can still pay the same price I used to and get what is actually called a "salad." I refuse to pay for one piece of lettuce, and I question whether it was a whole piece, at that! Plus, they didn't even fill the measly bowl. Wish I could still give a 4 star rating, but quantity has gone down. Some of you may say, it's just a freaking salad. Others that look forward to this being one of their favorite things on the menu, will understand. IYKYK

The service was some of the best we've had: attentive, warm, and so generous. I couldn't decide between the house salad and the miso soup (both sounded amazing), and they kindly surprised me with a house salad topped with their housemade dressing, such a thoughtful touch. The miso soup was stellar, too. We started with the mango crab rangoons (highly recommend), then ordered a mix of rolls: two cooked: the Hotel Cali and Tidal Wave and two vegan: the Eden (a must!) and the Cowgirl. Every single one was delicious. To drink, we loved the China Doll and the Sangria Spritz cocktails. The lighting and overall mood of the restaurant i beautiful, warm, cozy, and perfect for lingering. We'll absolutely be back!

I've been a couple times and each time the bartenders are lacking in friendliness, accuracy, and efficiency. It seems that they pay more attention to the service bar and chatting with each other, it's surprising to me that management doesn't notice the bar is in need of supervision and improvement. I've had to to get my own napkins, chopsticks, and even had a food runner drop off my food to a couple sitting beside me and scurry away before any of us could tell her that she made a mistake ‍. It's possible that the service is better at the tables though, I sit at the bar because I go solo. Still, the food and ambiance are worth a visit, I will be back...the chargrilled edamame is delicious!
