In town for a couple days for business and thought we'd give this place a try and we're glad we did! It's an unassuming exterior and pretty typical interior, but the food was very good. Service was ok, but once we got someone's attention to take our order the food came out quickly and was hot and delicious! I recommend the fresh basil chicken and hot and sour soup. We also tried the New York roll and it was great as well. Medium spice level was pretty mild, but ask for the spice rack and they'll bring out an assortment of spices and chili oils that you can use to bring up the heat to your liking. Really nice and attentive staff, which I always appreciate. The inside is nothing fancy, which I also appreciate. The food overall was good; I wasn't blown away but I also wouldn't say it was bad. For Spring Hill, this is probably one of the best Thai places in town. We also got sushi and I don't think we'll be getting it again. Again, it wasn't horrible, but I just don't think I would call this place a "sushi restaurant" and just stick to Thai. Overall experience was pleasant and the other thing to consider is the price. Went to celebrate our daughter's birthday and during our appetizers I bit into a curry chicken wonton & to my surprise, there was approximately a 12" hair in the wonton. I asked our waitress to come see what I had and she was very apologetic. She let the owner/manager know & offered me a re-order , I was very nice & declined. Any restaurant w/an almost 5, would have comped us an appetizer or meal. I didn't make a big deal & seeing that our waitress was busting her butt, I also gave a generous tip. haven't had Thai in a while so ventured here after dropping off my son for small group. I'd been here for lunch once before and had a decent experience so headed back - here's what we found! Ambiance: Traditional thai place with normal seating and the golden waving cat to boot! was greeted and sat fairly quickly but i'll say the friendliness could use a level up for sure. waitress was nice but couldn't really give a good summary of the soft drinks available - as it turns out it was all cans and no fountain drinks...no worries. Food: Food is good although not quite as thick as i remember authentic Thai being - more broth style consistency and more "soupy" than normal. chicken masaman was good / too many onions however - don't need half an onion. carrots were soft and the chicken sate was tasty but lacked flavor and the peanut sauce was just ok. Pricing: Standard pricing not too expensive and not cheap / felt like we were rushed on everything however - especially the bill which was a bit on the abrupt side. overall: decent Thai - i'd look for another place for more authentic and more hospitable but if your in spring hill and have a hankering - this will do! keep Munching!! read more

I immediately ordered my favorite Thai Tea, which was served right away and was above par! I started with the Vegetable Spring Roll, which came 3 per serving, unlike most places that give 2 rolls per serving! It was delicious to say the least! I ordered the classic dinner portion Pad Thai, which was served nice and warm, within 5 to 7 minutes of ordering. It tasted fresh and crunchy because of the semi-grounded peanuts! We were there during a very full dinner service but were warmly greeted, seated quickly & everything was served with a smile. Portions were a good size, food was extremely tasty, very affordable & was served less than 10 minutes from placing our order. My girls enjoyed the miso soup, cucumber & Philadelphia rolls, plus gyoza. The pad Thai dish (made with flat noodles) was met with great favor, plus you could pick your spice level (1-5 or none). This Thai restaurant is way more than you'd expect from the parking lot. The restaurant is clean and the service was fast, efficient and accurate. The food is, without question, world class. We stopped in for a late lunch--just before their closing time. The food was fresh, hot and amazingly tasty. This is the best Hot & Sour soup I have ever had. Period. Mine was with chicken. They also offer a tofu version of the soup. Our party had three different Thai noodle dishes and everyone raved about the experience. As is typical, they offer five "levels" of heat for the spice. I chose "levels 5", their "hottest" and found it to be very mild. The lunch portions were large so dinner portions will, most certainly, lead to some nice left overs for the next day. read more

I went by yesterday for lunch and was a bit disappointed to find out that they are no longer open for lunch at this time, but open at 4pm. There is really no other alternative for good Lao/Thai in Springhill. I just pray that Springhill residents continue to support this place more. Walked in and waited online. While I was online the young girl was taking an order on the phone. The man making sushi called to her and made a gesture. He then walked over to her and said you cut them cut if they talk to long! She was so soft spoken and said they were just taking long. He said it didn't matter. I was shocked. When it was my turn I asked if I could have a tuna roll with avocado and green onion. He came back over and said absolutely not. WHY? You have the ingredients on the menu! It will take 1 hour he said. Everything will take 1 hour and then walked off. This guy was not nice at all. He wasn't nice to his employee and he could careless about the people waiting online. I don't like to give poor reviews. When one out of four people like their meals, there isn't much choice. Youngest had sesame chicken. He loved it, and we all tried a tiny bit, and agreed it was pretty good. Got the curry dumplings to start. They were flavorful, however, way over cooked. My main entree was a chicken noodle dish. The noodles were absolutely perfect. Problem was, I kept getting a very strong seafood/fishy taste mixed in, as if something else was mixed in, or whatever pan was used to make my dish, wasn't washed, after making a seafood dish. There was a lot of chicken in my dish, but it was super fatty/and almost over cooked. I ate about a third of my meal, before politely covering it with a napkin. My son got some sort of beef broccoli in a beef gravy. It was an enormous portion/dish..... Problem is, he had one bite, and asked if he could try something else. My wife and I tried it and agreed. It was pretty bad. Almost like beef and broccoli. But in REALLY watered down gravy. So, literally one bite, and the dish sat awkwardly in the middle of the table while we ordered another sesame chicken for him. Wife got chicken broccoli, and again said chicken was just a weird texture/and also over cooked. The biggest problem was, I stated pretty quickly and VERY politely, that the beef entree wasn't very good, before ordering the new entree. I get, that ordering the wrong entree isn't the fault of the restaurant. They delivered what was on the menu. But it didn't taste anything like what was pictured. The wait staff was great when it came to water refills and delivering our meal, but not one person asked how we liked our meals. That was a BIG miss. And, to constantly see a full, uneaten entree sitting right in the middle of the table, and not say, or ask anything about it, or even offer a desert or something in exchange, is pretty awful. I am BAFFLED at the good reviews on this restaurant. I've dined here on three separate occasions, ordering a range of items and every.single.one is bad??? Overall, the food is bland with weird textures and off-notes. The spring rolls filling is mushy and tasteless. The pad Thai? I couldn't even eat it because it had a strong off flavor. I have given this restaurant many tries because the good reviews keep gaslighting me. I will note that I recently moved here so perhaps this has been the only Thai place so there is nothing to compare to but lower your expectations. The cucumbers in the rolls weren't crunchy and the spicy tuna wasn't very good - way too much avocado. In the end - they were all pretty bland. The rice dishes were good as were the apps. Service was prompt but not overly friendly (not unfriendly). Ambiance was typical for a Thai/sushi place - very very quiet. Prices were reasonable. If we come back, it won't be for the sushi....
