Let's start out with the fact that happy hour is all day Monday through Saturday(till 6:30) and all hours on Sunday. Our waitress was very nice and didn't rush us or make us wait for anything. We ordered maki sushi. (Crunchy blue and crunchy LA. And a just tempura roll and a king roll). All 4 rolls were delicious. Also ordered lettuce wraps which were also delicious. The restaurant was nicely decorated and cool but not freezing. read more

It's been awhile and decided to stop in for some fresh sushi! We happened to catch Happy Hour on a Saturday, which was cool! Our server Shannan (not sure if that's how you spell his name) deserves 5 STARS! He always checked in, was courteous and so nice! Some of the highlights were the calamari - delicious and not over fried! Their Sashimi was fantastic and nightly recommend. We tried 3 different versions and all were delicious. Drinks were good! Their Saketini was delicious! The China Doll was a little too sweet for me. The rolls were okay, we had a few but they didn't compare to their sashimi. Wish they served sake in bottles but completely understand with their concept. Decor is cute and great place for a date or large group! read more

Fresh sushi. Unique flavor combinations. A little pricey, but this place has style and the staff have always been friendly. I go here when I want unique sushi options. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. From top down. We ordered to go order and they didn't give the order to the Uber Eats driver. They then proceeded to charge us when we had to go pick up the missing bag of food we had already paid for. Absolutely absurd and they stood their ground. They wouldn't give us the $158 bag of food we had already paid for. WILL NOT GO BACK read more

Ambience 4/5 customer service 5/5 sushi 3/5 I landed on 4 stars although I feel like 3.5 would be more accurate. We ordered 6 rolls of sushi and they were all mid...but our server, Isaac, was fantastic. Overall we had a nice experience for a date night out. Prices are totally reasonable for sushi. read more

I hate to leave a less than stellar review. Really nice staff, tremendous sushi. But they obviously have an irritating flaw in their system as it occurs regularly. I blame myself as I should check each order, I guess. But, should you order take out, do not expect to get your order as described online. Not the sushi, per se, but the sauces, etc. this evening was easily the third time no added sauces were included.... Just the sushi. No honey wasabi... no eel sauces, etc. Again, great otherwise but a frustration that remains a drawback. read more

Went here for lunch with colleagues. We sat outside with the weather being perfect. The waitstaff was super friendly . Very knowledgeable of the menu and the slight differences in the rolls. We were focused on Eel rolls. Each of us ordered 2 rolls each. It was pretty fast actually. Sushi was as good as expected. Nobody got sick. I always say that after sushi. We will be back! read more

I LOVE blue sushi saki! They have a variety of sashimi and nigiri options and if you go during their happy hour, a lot of their sushi is half off! This is great to try a variety of sushi on their menu. The ambiance is so fun too and looks like Godzilla inside! I love the service, the first time I went it took a long time to get our food but the manager came over and gave us a gift card to use for our next visit! read more

We went for happy hour tonight. Was really delicious and the service was great. Would definitely go back.

Be sure to check out this gem! Sunday means all-day happy hour, and my friend and I celebrated Galentine's here and it was the perfect vibe for it. The service was some of the best we've had: attentive, warm, and so generous. I couldn't decide between the house salad and the miso soup (both sounded amazing), and they kindly surprised me with a house salad topped with their housemade dressing, such a thoughtful touch. The miso soup was stellar, too. We started with the mango crab rangoons (highly recommend), then ordered a mix of rolls: two cooked: the Hotel Cali and Tidal Wave and two vegan: the Eden (a must!) and the Cowgirl. Every single one was delicious. To drink, we loved the China Doll and the Sangria Spritz cocktails. The lighting and overall mood of the restaurant i beautiful, warm, cozy, and perfect for lingering. We'll absolutely be back! read more

Recently came here with a few friends to celebrate a birthday and we were all very happy with the all-around experience! The drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol) were beautiful, delicious and unique. The sushi rolls (I believe we all tried 7 different rolls total) were all delicious, unique and fresh -- rivaling the quality of sushi I've eaten in places like Hawaii and southern CA! Their charred edamame appetizer was also amazing. We were there early enough on a Friday evening to also get to enjoy Happy Hour pricing on a lot of items, so that was a plus. The ambiance is fun and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and they have both outdoor and indoor seating options! They do take reservations, there are multiple parking lots for this and the surrounding restaurants, and there is a park area (with dessert options if you've still got stomach space!) right across the street. Overall, I will be going back and I would highly recommend to any sushi lover!! read more

Great service, great ambiance and great sushi. Ive already been back several times the San Marcos roll is probably my favorite.

Two words! Happy. Hour. What an amazing deal! First our server, Ava, was amazing and gave us suggestions that were perfect. The food was amazing. And the drinks were as well. The Saketini was delicious. We enjoyed the lettuce wraps - they were fresh and delicious. Then we had the Rainbow Roll which was fresh and equally delicious. We decided to add on the LA Crunch and it was the best we've ever had. For dessert we got the chocolate spring roll which was absolutely sinful! It was huge and we brought half home. We loved the atmosphere - the decor was just perfect and very comfortable. All in all the entire experience was just perfect and we will definitely add this treasure to our favorite list! read more

The food is just ok, nothing to go out of the way to get. This location has horrible hostesses. They can't take simple instructions, like we would prefer to sit inside. When we did sit no one even knowledges us for 10mins. We finally walked out. The hostess could have cared less and did nothing to help the situation. I understand they hire really young staff but there is zero positive management at this location. The time before that we tried this location, the food was just ok. Service still sucked. No one cares about service. read more

Great weekday happy hour! Went with coworkers after work and it was a great vibe. Cocktails were delicious (highly recommend the China Doll - I've been thinking about it since I got home!) I have celiac and was pleased that they had a gluten free menu! Everyone liked their sushi. Service was a bit slow/inattentive but not horrible at all. Great outdoor seating as well! read more

Best food ever. Rainbow roll (salmon specifically) was amazing and then the Hawaii roll is my favorite but ever, absolutely life changing.

My family and I have come here for happy hour a few times and it's been a good experience. We love that there's a sushi spot now in Franklin and we really liked the ambiance inside. There are some items we didn't love but some that were really good. The happy hour deals were at a really good price point and is definitely worth checking out. Our favorite rolls were the tidal wave and the lion king. We didn't love the crispy tuna rice or Hawaiian and would recommend skipping out on those. read more

The sushi itself is 3 stars in regards as quality and quantity. Everything else is great = drinks, happy hour (all day on Sun) service, all other non-sushi items (brussel sprouts, calamari, dessert egg rolls). Pricing is also nice (well coming from CA--so it is all relative). Would come back if in town again. read more

The food is delicious, they have a great happy hour but the service from the bartenders is woefully disappointing. I've been a couple times and each time the bartenders are lacking in friendliness, accuracy, and efficiency. It seems that they pay more attention to the service bar and chatting with each other, it's surprising to me that management doesn't notice the bar is in need of supervision and improvement. I've had to to get my own napkins, chopsticks, and even had a food runner drop off my food to a couple sitting beside me and scurry away before any of us could tell her that she made a mistake ‍. It's possible that the service is better at the tables though, I sit at the bar because I go solo. Still, the food and ambiance are worth a visit, I will be back...the chargrilled edamame is delicious! read more

I took my wife here for Valentines day to break the tradition of a steak dinner since we both love sushi. We have been told to give this place a try by 3 different people. Was hesitant to try this place as I've had some truly awful experiences at the downtown location, but this Franklin outpost of Blue Sushi Sake Grill was pleasantly solid. Upscale sushi restaurant with casual, hangout vibes, particularly due to a great (and dog friendly) patio! The menu here is extensive (all focused on sushi) but one rare thing about it is its incredibly large set of vegan/vegetarian options (including some with faux-tuna, vegan caviar.) This is a great place to come for folks with dietary restrictions. Unlike the downtown location, service here was excellent: attentive but not too pushy and I tried some great sake from waitstaff recommendations. I've been to the downtown location before so know some items are hit/miss flavor wise and tried to stick to things I knew would be winners: specialty sushi rolls, the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The spicy gringo roll is excellent, highly flavorful and this will probably be my new go-to for sushi south of Nashville. An item new to me was the charred edamame: perfectly cooked and the charred cooking method gave the edamame a bit of natural sweetness that was great. This location hasn't been open long but despite having quite a large space can be extremely busy on weekends. Walking in on a weeknight with no reservation was easy, though. Two small gripes were the inside was quite cold (even as someone who liked the AC at full blast) and smelled very strongly of cleaning solution, ruining the ambiance inside quite a bit. Otherwise, pretty good sushi for the Franklin/Brentwood area, awesome sake menu and service, chill vibes out on the patio! read more

Another amazing sushi spot....and I'm from Florida so this is saying something. The inside of this restaurant is so unique and fun. It makes you feel like you're stepping into Japan with authentic artwork and light fixtures. I started with Saki which was warmed perfectly and tasted delicious. I then got a lion king roll (if I remember correctly) and it was very fresh and tasty. 100% going back. read more

Great food and karma. Josh and Ellen are top notch managers and they have put together a fantastic stff. Half the fun of eating out is great service. And Blue Sushi always provides great service. The staff are young with fun and engaging personalities. They aim to please. And they interact with guests like humans....not people who only communicate by text or email. They are real and fun to deal with and every single one of them has positive energy. I love this place and eat there for lunch weekly. You won't go wrong. read more

We were super happy to see a new destination for sushi in Franklin, and Blue Sushi Sake Grill did not disappoint. The space is pretty cool, with a very open feel, a variety of high and low tables, and a somewhat large outdoor dining area. Their menu is pretty extensive, which is great, although it can be a bit daunting with a variety of different sections. They do have a gluten-free menu, although there are additional items from the regular menu that could be modified if you can't have gluten. Our food was really good. The sushi rolls were great, and nice options in terms of flavors and textures. We did find that the service was a little slow and inattentive. The restaurant wasn't especially busy while we were there, and we saw wait staff wandering around, but it took a long time to get their attention when we needed something. Overall a good experience. The food is really good and the location is great, and hopefully we'll get more attentive service next time we stop in. read more

When you first walk in here, you're absolutely blown away by the way this restaurant has been designed. What the stunning murals on the wall to the lanterns hung on the ceiling, you won't be disappointed with the vibes in this restaurant. We come here quite frequently because we can typically get a seat at the bar without a reservation. The place does get busy so I don't recommend it on a weekend night. I haven't been disappointed by anything that I've tried here, and I'm pretty sure I've had almost the whole menu. They have fresh fish cooked fresh and even a vegan menu. The fresh is fresh and sustainable. And their cocktails are delicious. And don't out on the dessert. Their tempura ice cream is my favorite dessert here. read more

Meal was excellent, go for the Happy Hour all day Sunday! The service was great, very attentive. Great deal!

This spot is HUGE in comparison to their downtown Nashville location, but the quality of the food isn't as good. People in my party (alongside myself) frequented the downtown location more + this was a first time for many at this location. We were disappointed in the flavors of the rolls. We're not sure what was missing, as it seems like the recipes would be standard. Our service was attentive and funny. read more
