Great atmosphere and delicious food! Competitive pricing and excellent customer service! I am visiting from northern Alabama and this is great authentic Thai food in the area! For me it's worth adding to your trip as part of your itinerary when visiting Franklin/Cool Springs or Nashville TN.
If Cheers were a mom-and-pop Thai restaurant (with a side hustle of sushi), it would be Jasmine. Located next to the Cool Springs Publix, Jasmine is one of the few long-standing locally owned spots in this highly commercial part of Franklin. I think this one of my first date spots almost 15 years ago, and has now become a reliable spot for dine-in or takeout on nights I'm too lazy to cook but still want comforting, filling food. Almost every time I come in, I'm delighted to see one of my regular servers who remembers my favorite items, makes friendly banter while I order, and overall makes this an incredibly welcoming experience. There's a lot of regulars like me who have been coming here for years for some of their staple favorites: green curry, red curry, fried rice, pad thai cashew chicken, and truly any of the soups are always hits to me. I always get an appetizer as well with my favorites being the chicken spring roll, the fried tofu, and the small wonton soup. Nothing is spicy unless you request it so, and my meal is always about $14-18, even if I order an appetizer; it's truly one of the few remaining inexpensive spots in the area. Even my parents still request to come here, which is wild as they are truly some of the world's pickiest eaters; there is really something for everyone. Sushi is not my favorite here and I wouldn't call this the most authentic Thai food, but that doesn't make it any less delicious. Easy parking in a plentiful lot, thanks to the shopping complex it's located in. Welcoming atmosphere, comforting and delicious food, and the opportunity to support a longstanding local business - it's truly a no brainer to come and eat at Jasmine.
Service was good, Food was good, though we were sat with a side view of the sushi bar even though the restaurant had empty tables, not the best table, Husband didn't like his red curry, said it lacked flavor as coconut milk and spice, but my duck noodle soup was good.
Great little place. Ordered chicken lemon grass chicken. Had the dumplings for an appetizer, though small you get 4 of them and they are delicious. You can order your food mild, medium or hot. The medium for me was just right. The lemon grass chicken comes with white rice and a stuffed bell pepper. Service was great and highly recommend.
The food here tastes good! I've definitely had better but it's worth giving it a try. The restaurant itself is beautiful and nicely lit, and the waiter was very kind. I would come here again, but I would probably order a different curry!
Not so sure what happened but they were either very short handed in the kitchen or had a lot of new people as the service folks could not get food out and we were there for two hours for simple dishes that we have been eating for 20 years. As usual the ambiance was nice but loud as the space is small but the people worked hard to make it a good evening.
Staff were mostly helpful. After arriving, food + thai tea were delicious -- first time I've have a vegetarian sushi that had more than just basic, flavorless veggies like cucumber or avocado. Ambiance is fine, with a combination of a centered sushi bar, mood lightning, and regular + more traditional floor-seating tables. BUT I gave less than 5 stars bc of the insanity to wait for a table. The system they had was simply giving ur name and number in ur party, and expecting people to wait 1hr + for their name to be called aloud (rather than a phone number/text system). It was a chilly and rainy night, so every group tried to wait cramped indoors. Issue would have been resolved easier by a system that allowed waiting parties to be notified they're almost ready without the hassle of being right in front of the entry desk. Also, midst giving my info for the waitlist (which I waited patiently to do since the line was so hectic/confused), the staff diverted their attention to a DoorDash/Uber order -- unnecessarily interrupting an otherwise 15 second interaction.
As I stated in a previous review, this would be a restaurant my husband and I would continue to dine at... We crave this place, and have to go at least once a month... The food is always fresh and tasty... Portion size is perfect... I've tried a lot of lunch entrees on the menu and liked them all.... The rice served with each entree is cooked perfectly... I could never make it taste like that at home.... They also serve a spring roll with each entree that is really good... Plus, it's the only place I'll get a Thai tea, if they keep it at the $3 price... Other Thai restaurants in town are charging $5 or more, and I refuse to pay that... My husband and I always have to get their vegetable Tom Ka Soup, which is so so yummy... My husband and I split a cup when we get entrees... We got the bowl one time, and it was a meal in itself, a little too much when you have other food to eat. At our last visit, we got the Spicy Edamame as an appetizer, and they were very flavorful.... My husband tends to get the Ginger entree (medium) with chicken bc he is so fond of ginger.... He absolutely loves that dish... I got the Hung Ray Curry (mild) with chicken... It was delicious...I actually boxed 1/2 my entree to go bc I had filled up on the soup and beans... So, it's nice to enjoy the flavors for a couple of days w leftovers. Service is wonderful! ...The restaurant is casual and sits in a strip mall.... It gets very crowded, so it's noisy at times...If you want to have a quiet, private conversation, it's not gonna happen here.... Got take out from this Thai food spot. Food was okay although didn't taste the freshest. I got the eggplant chicken and the warm Glass Noodle Salad and although, well portioned it was very mid level food and I would check out another spot when trying to get my Thai craving. I preferred the eggplant chicken as it had more flavor. The warm glass noodle salad had a vinegar prominent sauce.

Super friendly staff, very attentive and helpful. Quaint, family friendly and a Sushi Bar as well The food, I am so happy I found this place. I apologize in advance no pictures, next time. The soup I ordered the Tom Ka with shrimp. The coconut milk was rich and buttery , the galanga broth mushrooms and chive perfect, not overpowering just perfectly balanced and the shrimp juicy large sweet shrimp. Set me up an IV drip of that. The Massaman Curry with Chicken wrapped in Roti to make a Massaman Curry Crepe. Roti is one of my favorite things but then to use it as the vessel to present the creamy Massaman Curry, whoever thought of that we shall call him Genius. Potatoes, carrots onions and for me chicken swimming happily in curry. Wrapped in a roti and sprinkled with crushed nuts. I had an excellent experience at Jasmine Thai & Sushi in Brentwood! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and inviting the restaurant was. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and my server was absolutely awesome and made the experience even better. I started with the Crab Rangoons, which were crispy, creamy, and delicious. For my entrée, I went with the Chicken & Shrimp Fried Rice, and it did not disappoint. My favorite thing to do is to drizzle some of the plum sauce from the rangoons over my fried rice, then add a little spicy mayo for an extra burst of flavor. Overall a wonderful dining experience. This is our favorite restaurant! The food is delicious and the staff is incredible. We eat here at least once a week, if not more. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming, and more than one of the gentlemen has come over to our table to say hello and make us feel welcome. It really makes a difference! The spicy edamame is ! The spring rolls are so good, the Brentwood sushi roll is delicious, and they have the best fried rice. And their fried banana dessert is absolutely the most delicious! We really love the entire menu. There are too many good items to list! The ambiance is nice too. I love the little table lamps--they make it feel cozy and inviting. We truly love eating at Jasmine and always look forward to coming back! read more

I have always loved this spot. The food is always fresh. The thai and the sushi are both great. The Panang is delicious and just the small things like freshly steamed brocollini piping hot spring rolls. The Thai Tea is the best. Serves wine and beer. read more

Best Thai and sushi in middle Tennessee. It's small but charming inside. The food is made to order, not over priced and fresh. The best green curry I have ever had. I love the pad Thai with a side of Penang curry sauce. I love the spring rolls which come with fresh not pre packaged dipping sauce. Tim Kum soup is lovely. I moved away but I love this place! read more

Jasmine, you are tried and true AND fresh and new. A 5-star experience to be sure. The food and service are sublime We had a most magical time (In part, making this little rhyme) Can't forget the miniature light Which made the perfect end to our night And if you don't spend your dime, it would sure be a crime! Dine-in: Thursday 6/1/23 6:30p Jasmine is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Coolspring area. It's located in a shopping plaza next to Mattress Firm. The restaurant features traditional Thai dishes and sushi. When I visited for dinner, it was quite busy and we were unable to find a large table to accommodate our party of 10, so we had to sit at two separate tables. The restaurant does not take reservations, so it's first come, first served. For this reason, if you have a large party, there may be a wait. We ordered a handful of dishes to try, but here are a couple of recommendations: The Steamed Dumplings, which come with four per order and have a savory filling consisting of minced meat, served with sweet soy sauce. The whole grilled squid is another great option and is served with either spicy Thai sauce or teriyaki. We chose the spicy Thai sauce, and the squid was cooked to perfection with a mildly sweet flavor and a slightly springy texture. The addition of the spicy Thai sauce created a combination of flavors that exploded in our mouths. The crispy duck with tamarind sauce was probably the best duck dish I've ever had at a Thai restaurant in Nashville. The duck was crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside, and the sweet and tangy tamarind sauce added a balance of rich, savory flavors with a slight gaminess. It's a perfect dish for meat lovers. Additional spice trays are available upon request. Overall, the Thai entrees are amazing, and the sushi is fresh and delicious. The staff are attentive and quick. The restaurant has a pretty casual atmosphere. A quick tip: if you have a large party, you might want to come early to put your name on the waiting list since the restaurant does not take reservations read more

I dined at Jasmine on October 8, 2020 for a late dinner. This restaurant had spaced out tables and dividers for the boxed in tables. Service was excellent and attentive (Thanks Ken!). Everything that we ordered tasted great. I would say the basic rolls were above average and had generous protein to rice ratio. The broiled squid was good and not too chewy. The Tom kha soup had good flavors; I just wish it had more vegetables to balance the amount of soup. I loved the tuna tataki; it was very well seasoned (definitely recommend). Both the crispy duck and whole fish snapper with the spicy chili tamarind sauce were excellent. The duck and snapper were moist and flavorful. I would definitely recommend ordering any of the dishes with the spicy chili tamarind sauce. The fried banana was okay, I thought the honey was overpowering given the fried banana's small size. Overall, I was very satisfied and definitely will return for their excellent service and tasty Asian fusion cuisine. The price value considering the quality of the food was appreciable. read more
