This restaurant has it all. From tasty food, service, selection, cleanliness, and location. We met for a business dinner and everything from portion size to the flavors was an absolute yes. I'm just sad, I don't live closer so I can have this more often. As a sidenote, I have never had my Panang curry served to me like the pictures below.

Beyond excited Thai Samurai decided to come to Franklin! The decor and vibe is trendy & sexy. A great place for Date Night. My husband & I bellied up to the bar to eat. The bartender ( I think her name is Mia) was super sweet & informative. She walked us through the menu & offered some suggestions and she was very helpful and welcoming. I was boring & ordered the Orange Chicken and it was good. Note:the portions are plentiful. My husband ordered the Signature Basil Pork Belly and it was Outstanding! Highly recommended! I am looking forward to my next visit. Definitely put Thai Samurai on your must do list. You can thank me later .

Beautifully redecorated building -- was built to be a different place. (Next to the mall/across from Aveda salon) Staff very attentive, accommodating & gracious. Service excellent. Cute staged picture taking locations in the entrance, and outside. The food was the star. I ordered spring rolls with the fried option. Tasty and large! And Green Curry spice level 2. It was perfect! Btw spice level 2 definitely has some kick! Large and lovely presented portions. We had such a nice time! This will be a go to in Franklin for sure!!

Had chicken pad Thai and fresh rolls . Waited all day to eat so I could throw down . Had left overs . The service was excellent . Took my last sip of water and here comes the girl to refill . Food came out fast and plated pretty . We came in on a Monday night at 6 , they had other tables etc but food was out in 5mins .

Having been a semi-regular at Thai Samurai, it's sad to say that my dining experience on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 6:30 pm might possibly be my last. I've reviewed more Thai, Japanese, and Thai-Japanese fusion restaurants than any other cuisines and I very rarely scrutinize the prices on the menu, let alone, for any business in general. But this time, I have to because their prices were somewhat on the high end before they updated their menus. Now, some of the prices on the sushi rolls have gone up from $5 more to twice their original price. For example, California roll is such a basic roll that used to cost $8 now costs $16 is egregious! California rolls are considered basic and shouldn't cost more than $10! It's unfortunate that my favorite salad, chicken larb, was taken off the menu due to its unpopularity. It's a classic Thai salad so taking it off was a shame, especially because they make it pretty authentically. Luckily, the kitchen was able to make it, but it was $3 more than it used to be. The crab fried rice was excellently seasoned and was very flavorful. Pad thai was on point - you can never go wrong with pad Thai here. The tom yum soup could use more tom yum flavors with the lemongrass. The broiled squid needed more broiling. Service was consistent and good. Overall, I'm deeply disappointed they adjusted the menus and the prices even though the quality and service had remained mostly the same.

Pad kee mao - Drunken noodles. Very flavorful

Went to Thai Samurai for the first time and the space is beautiful. Parking is easy too. We started off with a roll and an appetizer along with the curry duck and drunken noodles. We really enjoyed our lunch. Our server was very friendly and he took great care of us. We'll definitely be back.

Service was prompt and wonderful! Aesthetically a very unique place -- very bold and colorful (loved it). The food was equally delicious -- perfect spiciness and flavorful. The happy hour drinks (sake and marg) were also great value (and flavor)! Would definitely recommend!

Food Everything was exceptional!! Tried the zombie roll, lobster roll, spring rolls, appetizer sampler, pad Thai, basil duck and any and everything was spot on. The accompanying sauces paired well with the dishes, also. Service From the hostess to our server, very attentive with great conversation. Made us laugh throughout service, boxed and bagged all of our leftovers. Ambiance Plenty of seating inside, out, and at the sushi bar. When we were talking to our server he mentioned that location at The Galleria had only been there 2 months and you could tell by how clean it looked. Enjoyed the fact they had Japanese and Thai options but there were a ton of options. It was a full Japanese menu and a full Thai menu. There was also a happy hour menu. Great place where everyone will be able to find something they'll enjoy.

Tuna poke bowl that may take me a moment to finish

Nice looking interior and great service; large menu that I eventually narrowed down to a tuna poke bowl which was so tasty and beautiful!

    Red wine rib eye. Yummmm

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I'm a Thai/sushi enthusiast & have eaten this cuisine in many cities in the US and this is one of the best. The chicken, lettuce wrapped appetizer is fantastic - get extra sauce. The red wine ribeye is just melt in your mouth & sauce also yummmmy. All the regular sushi is good as expected but the meals are BEST! We are addicted to this place.

Always thrilled to have another Asian fushion spot! When we saw this come up we made it a priority to visit and we're very pleased with our experience. The entrance sets the vibe with cute decor. We ordered & split the chicken teriyaki bento box with a california roll & the tennessee roll to split. The teriyaki chicken was flavored well but the quality of the chicken didn't hit for us. The TN roll was fire and we would def order it again! Random - the gold metal dishes are pretty but not that practical - painful on sensitive ears or those with easily triggers by the sounds. All in all, will return and try more!

Tucked away in a strip mall in Franklin is a really good little sushi spot that is definitely worth checking out! We decided to call in an order and do takeout tonight, and everything was fresh, hot, and ready quickly. We started with a couple appetizers -- the Edamame and Gyoza, and both were very good. For entrees, we ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, which was flavorful and loaded with chicken. We also tried a California Roll and a Shrimp Tempura Roll, and both hit the spot. But the real star of the night was one of their Signature Rolls, the Yummy Roll! Made with crab, cream cheese, and avocado, then topped with eel, this thing was absolutely amazing. If you're feeling adventurous, skip straight to the Signature Rolls because that's where this place really shines. Inside, they have several tables and booths, plus a couple seats right in front of the sushi chef if you want the full experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish. They even called me by name when I arrived and carried the food out to my car that kind of customer service is hard to find these days. If you live in Franklin and haven't tried this place yet, what are you waiting for?

The sashimi portions were unusually thin and oddly shaped--some pieces looked more like narrow strips than the generous cuts you'd expect. It gave me the impression that the fish was sliced as thinly as possible to create more pieces. The fish tasted okay, but the portion sizes simply didn't justify the price. The presentation was also underwhelming. There was no garnish or attention to detail, making the platter look very basic for what we paid. The piece by the fork for reference, maybe because it's a Friday night, last run? And they just scraped whatever left and gave it to us? We also ordered the pho, and unfortunately it wasn't much to write home about either. The noodles weren't fully cooked. Maybe I should have just ordered the Thai dishes, but if you're going to offer sushi on the menu, it should be held to the same standard. Customers shouldn't have to guess which parts of the menu are worth ordering. Overall, I don't mind paying premium prices for quality food, but I do expect the quality, portions, and presentation to match the price. Unfortunately, this experience didn't deliver. The photos speak for themselves.

The benefit of being in a market is you can grab Asian items for home, including some fruits and vegetables you won't find at your local Kroger. I included the menu, so you can see how reasonable the prices are. I will also state the portions are good for the price. As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery. I usually hit K&S, so need to compare prices, as both of these are about equi-distant to where I lived right now (although 24 is more of a pain than 40 west). Kudos to a great experience.
