We really enjoyed the sides we split - the jalapeño cream cheese crab poppers were delicious, and the chicken kara-age was a very generous portion and well done. The ramen itself had good-quality ingredients and noodles, and the pork was lean and nicely cooked. However, the biggest letdown was the broth. We ordered the Char Siu Ramen, assuming their most popular option would shine, but the broth was surprisingly bland - almost like lightly flavored chicken water. We asked for added spice/flavor, which helped somewhat, but it still didn't fully come together. That said, the staff was incredibly attentive and kind, which made the experience better overall. I was in the Cool Springs area around dinner time on a Monday, and my usual spot isn't open on Mondays but I looked up while standing inthe Target parking lot I saw the sign for Ichiddo Ramen and decided to give it a try. I started with a taro milk tea with boba and it was delicous. Really flavorful and the boba had a great bouncy texture that wasn't too sticky. My dad and I started with the crab stuffed jalepenos and edamame. The Edamame was just steamed and lightly salted. I wouldn't say it was anything unique but it still tasted good. The crab stuffed jalepenos were delicious! I had not seen this offering on a menu before, and really enjoyed it! It's cream cheese, crab stick, stuffed inside a jalepeno, and then it's fried up. It's served with a sauce drizzled over the top. The jalepeno has some heat, which is appreciated! The sauce added some nice sweetness. The crab and cream cheese was great combo. I loved the texture frying it added. For entrees my dad went with a stir fried ramen and I stuck with a traditional soup style ramen. I did the teriyaki ton ramen. It was a nice flavorful sauce, the toppings all tasted great - I love corn in ramen, the spicy sauce added just a little heat, and the noodles tasted fresh and a little bouncy. It was one of the best ramen I've had in the Nashville-ish area. My dad enjoyed the stir fried ramen a lot! He got the seafood one and said the scallops, mussels, and shrimp all tasted great. My dad is the type of person to salt or add sauce before trying a dish, so he asked for soy sauce. I convinced him to taste it as is, and he ended up not adding anything because he said it was perfectly sauced to his liking already. I've been craving good ramen in Nashville and happened be down in cool springs for an appointment. I found this place and had to give it a try. I wish the menu had more traditional options but I tried the Niku Soba Ramen because it looked closest to my favorite tantan men. It was so close to being exactly what I was craving. I have been here a few times and really enjoy their rice bowls! Their miso ramen is good but some of the add ins cost a bit much for the quantity received. The spicy miso broth was okay but not as flavorful as other ramen place Also this time we tried the Chicken Kara Age and it was meh! I've had it at other places and this was not that great. We were craving ramen! I'll tell you that it's not all that. I ordered a beef ramen with spice. Definitely wasn't all that. The bowls are definitely not big for what your paying. There deep but are in a shape of a martini cup which isn't much of a portion which I wasn't satisfied compared to other ramen spots who serve huge bowls. The ramen was ok, it was fairly warm not hot as it should be. The flavor wasn't very there it was lacking that rich and creamy ramen taste. Service was great from our server! The chicken was fine; we ate it with the char sui house sauce and it was pretty tasty, and a tangy sweet and sour sauce. The ramen, however was pretty bland, and lacking salt/msg. The ambiance is wonderful, music is playing at a good volume, nice lighting, solid decorations. It does not have a very strong authentic ramen vibe but it's nice enough. The service was good, I was the only one in at the time I got here and my waiter was maybe a little bit to attentive at times. But it was nice and he was a kind young man. The food... it's VERY middle of the road. The pork itself had a nice soy sauce flavor which I appreciated, where as the broth it was a little bit to thin. It failed to full stay with the noodles so the noodles were very flavorless unless you manage to get a good amount of broth somehow at the same time. I really wish that my ramen came with an egg I feel like it was a very vital but missing component. I typically avoid Ramen places because they don't have a lot of vegetarian options and the ones that do basically taste like they just dumped a bunch of vegetables and noodles into hot water - -. Basically flavorless. This place was amazing and literally the opposite of every other Ramen place I've been to. The restaurant itself is clean and spotless. The vegetarian Ramen was incredibly flavorful. I asked for some chili oil and that just made it even more wonderful. I should've thought to top it with an egg and will do so next time. The side dishes were wonderful. We got sweet potato fries and edamame, which my son had along with some of the noodles from my Ramen. Very good Japanese ramen place with a Chinese influence. My wife, who's from Hawaii and very picky when it comes to ramen, loved her crispy chicken ramen. If you're in Brentwood or Franklin and craving ramen, this will satisfy your fix. The servers are attentive and food comes out very fast. I recommend the Niku Soba Ramen, but make sure you add an egg to it. It had such flavorful and slightly sweet meat. The takoyaki was served hot! It was a little mushy for my taste, but still good. The ramen broth was well flavored and had considerable depth. The cucumbers were okay (though I prefer the garlic variety, which these were not). Good chew on the noodles, the egg was cooked to temperature (and not cold). I asked to make it spicy, but they instead brought out a trio of hot oil, sriracha, and chili oil (all in disposable cups). My friend and I arrived to a full house yesterday and were lucky enough to snag a table. The space is small but inviting. I would estimate that there are about 10-12 tables for dine in. With this place having just opened, we had a great experience! Our server was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. We opted for the char siu ramen and the crispy chicken ramen. The pricing in the menu is very fair ($14-16) with very affordable add ons. They also have a wide variety of appetizers to choose from as well. Overall we throughly enjoyed the appetizers and ramen.
