Our new favorite Asian fusion spot! Clean with fun vibes thanks to the TVs everywhere and Kpop…read moremusic filling the spacious dining room. We liked everything we tried, but THE WINGS!! You must order the wings!!!! Sticky, sweet/spicy, juicy, and crunchy. Everything you can love about wings in one satisfying bite, the wait is worth it! We also ordered gyoza, beef pad kee mao and a pokeman go roll to sample the different Asian cuisines available on the menu. Our favorite was the Thai drunken noodles, but nothing was a miss. Although I probably wouldn't come here just for sushi, I need to come back to try all the interesting menu items like the bulgogi burger, and the Korean fried chicken sando. Our server Michelle hooked us up when we realized there was a bucket deal on drinks after we hastily ordered one beer each. She was so sweet, even though we came in near closing. The wings and beer were a perfect accompaniment to the first half of the NCAA championship game we watched during our visit. Can't wait to eat those wings again!

Michelle is always there ready to greet you from behind the bar! The vibe high-energy and fun, but be prepared: it's usually loud and table waits can run long. Michelle got a karaoke speaker could a new addition! One big tip: order all your food at once. The Korean fried chicken wings take about 20 minutes to come out, but trust me, they're 100% worth the wait. The wings are crunchy on the outside, packed with garlic, sweet, savory flavor, and somehow still moist and juicy on the inside. Perfect texture every single time. No soggy wings here just crisp, sticky, flavorful goodness. They are also best leftovers perfect for the air fryer! Every friend or family I bring ends up loving the wings long after we leave. If you're looking for consistently great food and some of the best Korean fried chicken in Nashville look no further! Bonus tip: the sauce table has plenty of sauce and spices if you want to heat up your wings further or want to check it out.

For my first visit to Degthai, I ordered the vegan Tiew Gang noodles and it was phenomenal. The…read morebase of vegetable broth mixed with coconut milk was creamy yet not heavy (with a blend of yellow and red curry spices, according to the menu -- sadly I am not that well versed in curries!). The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

The Tiew Gang Vegan is the best version of a Khao-Soi-like curry noodle dish I've had in years…read more Typically Khao Soi dishes can disappoint from being not full-bodied or temperature hot enough, but Degthai's Tiew Gang Vegan is a complex+balanced, complete curry soup noodle bowl full of uniquely satisfying goodness that is seldom found anywhere. The hardest part about eating at Degthai is beelining to the Tiew Gang Vegan. (BTW, I am not Vegan, yet I LOVE the Tiew Gang Vegan.) They do everything well - the other curries, the standard noodle dishes, the dumplings - and it can be tempting to just go with your regular go-to dish like Pad Thai w/Chicken (BORRRINGG, but they do it well nonetheless.) You've gotta try the Tiew Gang Vegan. It's truly a once-in-a-year of eating out experience finding a dish this incredible. It competes pound-for-pound in the same heavy hitter weight class as the best Pho, Ramen, Jjamppong, or Beef Noodle Soup you've ever had. I've now been to Degthai 10 times, and have gotten the Tiew Gang Vegan the last 5 times in a row.

Must try when in Nashville…read more This spot is inside Cyanide Cider, which is a really cool combo. As a tourist this is a grest spot to check out. You can have some great food, cider and even hang and play some board or card games. Everyone is super nice and welcoming both at Cyanide and Birria Babe. The food was great. We tried the Birria Trio (chicken, beef, lamb) tacos. All were great but the lamb was my favorite. It's a little more fatty ans softer. The beef and chicken were great as well. We also tried the Birria Ramen which i thought was great. They provide a good amount of beef and the broth is rich and flavorful. The pizza was bit too cheesy for me but I love trying new things so Im glad I did. We were told that they experiment and rotate different fun birra specials often. The salsas are all great. I like the spicy which has strong garlic and very unique flavor to it. The avocado salsa also stood out, almost a guac like flavor. All sauces were very unique and amazing. The cashier was super nice and we spent some time talking to the owner, drinking cider and hanging and pigging out. An afternoon well accomplished...

While I was waiting to pickup our take out…read moreorder, I noticed on their dine-in menu, all priced were $1 cheaper than online, and the employees confirmed this, stating they do that as an incentive to get people to dine in more. Interesting move, but I understand the logic behind it. Alright now onto the sushi, and to sum everything up, I mean, everything was good, but nothing blew me away here. California Roll - nothing out if this world about it, a good roll, but very basic Finding Treasure Roll - I was really excited about this one, it looked like a very complex roll and indeed it was, but the flavors didn't combine as well as I thought they would Fried sushi Donut - Also anticipating this one a lot. I got it with the hot cheeto outside and yellowtail on the inside, but I found both flavors lacking. You're basically getting a fried rice donut, because this roll is 85-90% rice. Disappointed with that one Spicy salmon Roll - nothing spicy about it, but still good nonetheless Yakimeshi - a balanced and tasty fried rice dish, but portion was pretty small considering the price Inside looked like a fine spot to hangout, not super fancy, but not trashy either. Staff was friendly and helpful for the limited time I was inside. I would eat here again, but wouldn't be my first choice
