    Korean Fried Chicken wings
    Meki A.

This was my first time here and I was thoroughly impressed with the staff, cleanliness, and quality of the food. The Korean fried chicken was delicious. I ordered spicy, it wasn't spicy but it was extremely flavorful. I also ordered the suite28 roll. It had a lot going on but in the best of ways. I would definitely come back.

I came here for lunch. Love the area and the prices were decent. The food was just ok. I ordered the vegetable fried rice and the spicy tuna and spicy crab roll. The rice was good; but the sushi was just mediocre. Our waiter was very attentive and patient as we waited for our full party to arrive. The restaurant was clean and love that you can walk around a bit afterwards. Overall, I'm glad I tried it out but it wasn't my favorite

Food: Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! I always have to get the fried chicken wings when I come visit. I know the chef personally went through all kinds of different trials and recipe tweaks to get it absolute perfection. The hamachi collar is one of the best I've had as well. One of the friends in our group said it was her favorite dish of the night besides the wings. The pad Kee mao is legit, so much flavor and we totally killed that dish. If you're into inventive creative dishes, try the kimchi fries, interesting way to make loaded fries. All the sushi rolls that we ordered were delicious, chef's kiss "mwah"! Service: Stop by the bar and say Hello to Michelle. She is the sweetest! I've talked to a couple regulars who love going here and I'm sure it's because of the friendly staff. Ambiance: I won't lie, the Kpop music videos distracted me like no other but it's so fun to watch! They all look like perfect dolls. It gives the place a fun vibe though.

    Sushi Special

Been here a few times and have consistently been impressed with their food. This past trip, I sat at the bar and chatted with the owner. She was so friendly and welcoming. We got spicy edamame, miso soup, ginger salad (with homemade dressing that was incredible), the Umami roll, the Firecracker, and the sushi special. Every single item was better than the next! You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food. Highly recommend!

Went around 4:30 pm on a Sunday and had no trouble being seated. Service was good, the server was attentive and was helpful with the menu. The sushi was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and both rolls did not disappoint! The beef pho was not that great, the dish lacked flavor. Overall would return for the sushi and service!

We visited for trivia and had a great time! It was also half off wine (Tuesday), however their wine prices are not listed on the menu, which made it a bit cumbersome to work out which wine to order. I ordered the boneless wings and did half and half. So crispy and yummy! The spicy isn't very spicy at all, but still very tasty! The pieces of chicken are big so I definitely could have gone with a smaller order. Kimchi fried rice was also good. Server was great and kept everyone's orders straight even though we had a large party. It was loud for trivia but we had so much fun!

Glad to see this establishment survived covid!! Because the chicken wings were the bomb!! I had the seafood ramen... Definitely a winter dish. And needs more seafood in it. But was so delicious! And maybe I'm a bit country but I really wanted to eat it with some cornbread LOL now those wings... make them spicy and keep them coming! They were the bomb! My daddy got pad thai with extra broccoli... well thanks Umami!! Now I have to make a decision as to whether or not I'm going to get the wings out of the pad thai now! But either way whatever I get from here is going to be good! And the staff is incredibly considerate thoughtful and friendly! This is always going to be a fave

The owner of this establishment is rude. The food is average and way over priced. I prefer bite a bit in east Nashville. Soooo yummy.

They were completely booked and offered to allow us dine at their waiting area space which offered comfy couches and table. We gratefully accepted the offer. To start I ordered the raspberry frozen margarita and my daughter ordered a mojito-mocktail. The establishment offers small bite/ tapas style dishes. We ordered way too many dishes; cucumber salad, poke bowl, stick ribs, dumplings, octopus, truffle mac n cheese, and tuna with crispy rice squares. To start, we got the raspberry mojito and raspberry nojito- both were delicious, bright, and refreshing. For dinner, we got the crispy tuna rice (literally my favorite to date - so flavorful and loved the ability to create my own tuna to rice ratio), truffle Mac (heavy but delicious), K pop chicken (flavor was great but a little bit of a tough exterior), and the cauliflower (good - loved that they didn't slather it in sauce)! We wrapped up with the crème brûlée cheesecake. I personally wasn't a fan but my friend loved it! I wasn't crazy about the texture and temperature differences at play!

I had a power dinner with a friend who is coming into my business... it was his first time eating Korean food, and Onda blew him away ! They call it LA Kalbi here. Being a business dinner I sure wanted to impress so I also ordered a plate of beef, Bulgogi and spicy pork Bulgogi both ROCKED ~ all three meats came out on sizzling iron plates All of the sides were as good as anything I've ever had, including the kimchi, which was extra special This is a VERY Classy, upscale, wonderful Korean restaurant with food that is impossibly good ! The flavor was really well balanced! I had just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming, paired with a subtle sweetness that made it super enjoyable to keep eating. It came out on a sizzling plate, which not only kept everything hot but also added a nice touch to the presentation and overall experience. The portion size was very generous, which I always appreciate. I ended up having enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and it held up really well! The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing over the top, but definitely a place you can sit down and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. That said, the experience wasn't perfect. The side dishes were a bit limited compared to what I was expecting, especially if you're used to a wider variety. Service was also on the slower side. The staff was friendly and polite, but it did take a few attempts to get their attention when I needed a water refill or wanted a to-go box. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's something that could definitely be improved. Overall, I'd still recommend Onda if you're looking for flavorful Korean dishes and generous portions. Just be prepared for a more relaxed pace of service. I'd come back again, especially for that spicy pork bulgogi!

Wasted Soup dumplings are so damn cool. It's also either an engineering marvel or some sort of biblical miracle. How is the soup born inside the little dumpling?? So many questions!! Pork belly had tremendous umami flavors and was sticky sweet and yummy all at once! Loved it! But then came the Star.... I love chicken wings as much as I love life! The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and offered great recommendations through the night. Hawkers is on my list for date nights, ladies' nights, or a casual evening out (especially for drinks and appetizers!)
