This place is an organized shit show. BOOKING: From start to finish we had nothing but issues. I booked a room here for my boyfriends 30th birthday so I wanted some extras in the room for him as a surprise. I called and tried to get balloons and champagne. The first person I spoke to acted like he had never even heard what balloons were and then told me he would call me back the next day. I never got a call so I called back and spoke to someone else who again said he would call me back. Once again never got a call back. The third time I called I just asked to speak directly to the supervisor and she basically said she couldn't understand why the other two people were so incompetent. It turns out they don't do balloons so she gave me chocolate covered strawberries instead and she comped it. The next thing I wanted to do is bump the check in from 3pm to 12pm. I called the day before we were set to arrive to make sure everything was in place and what do you know! They had no record of me calling and adding that on. After the first issue with guest services I again asked to speak to a supervisor. She was frustrated with the staff and comped me for the early check in. Thank god. THE CASINO: So the whole entire property is no smoking which is nice because the casino is clean but we also couldn't rent a smoking room when we weren't too happy about. We like to smoke cigars. 9/10 dealers on the card tables were fucking rude and retarted. We had to give money back for false pays more then twice. They would criticize us for hits on the black jack table too which is outrageous. We are here to gamble. Otherwise it's a very big casino with tons of slots and a good amount of card tables and there are bathrooms all over the place so you don't have to walk far. The drink service was always quick and the girls were very polite. THE ROOM: The room we got was gorgeous. We really did love the way that it was decorated. Very unique with dark dark hunter green walls and fun prints hung on the wall. The bed was really comfy also. What we didn't like though was that there was no fridge! Even the motel 8 has a mini fridge. Like I mentioned earlier also we couldn't get a smoking room which we would have liked. The bathroom was stunning. Huge shower and very soft towels and robes for us. CHECK OUT: What a mess. Cynthia who helped us check out was so nice but they tried to really fuck me over. When I booked the room nobody said a peep about resort fees. They also tried to charge me for the early check in that the supervisor said she would comp. We also ate at the steak house within the casino and they charged the tip to my card that I booked the room with even though I gave a different card at the restaurant so I have no idea how they even did that. After I lost it they took ALL the charges off and refunded me about $100 which was good. So all in all we did have a great time while we were there besides the shitty card dealers. The room was beautiful, we got free valet parking since my boyfriend is a veteran. The casino had a lot to offer and everyone who works there was very nice but the hassle of everything we went through just really made us really never want to go back. read more

MGM is a brilliant addition to Springfield. The casino floor is immaculately clean, the staff are friendly, and there are plurality or other amenities to enjoy if you don't gamble like us. Pros and tips: 1. Regal Cinemas an escalator ride away 2. A business center right near the Regal Cinemas 3. A spa that has very reasonable prices (especially for a couples massage) 4. Unlimited soda on the casino floor via coke machines 5. Unlimited Starbucks coffee on the 2nd floor by the spa (requires a room key to get to the second floor) 6. Delicious on site food. Of all the casinos I have visited in my lifetime, this one is the hands down worst. I was accosted by a belligerent patron in the elevator lobby, for being "in his way". The parking garage smells like urine, and seems sketchy at best. The slot machines are all the ones that you would avoid in a real casino. They have none of the actual high end slot. There appears to be vomit stains in the food court area, so I didn't eat while there. I don't really gamble to win. More just for fun, but I lost about $250 on slots here in about 20 minutes. They don't even hit small. Nothing. I should have just written a check and walked out. I'll make the drive to Connecticut the next time I feel like gambling. read more

Been on hold on 2 occasions today for for OVER 25 minutes each call. The first time is to try to make a reservation at a restaurant at the casino and the second is with a gentleman who answered under host services and placed me on hold with no coming back apologizing whatever he was doing for taking so long after providing him with the M Life Reward number. I would probably be still on hold if I didn't hang up and now host services is not answering. M Life member or not, you're a new casino and this is NOT customer service you want when you JUST open ! Unbelievable. If this is how the phone service is, I'm not sure if I want to try out the casino service after this headache. read more

I have been to the MGM Casino in Springfield at least 5 times since it opened. I have officially checked in on Yelp twice. I work in Springfield so it has been a good place to meet up with people or dine out. I have gambled a couple of these times but I am not a big gambler. Right now, I'm down about $50. Generally, I try to stick to reviews of places that are not so close to me but in light of some of the reviews lambasting the MGM Springfield I felt obligated to write. It seems to me that some of these reviews were written by people who have not been there OR who have an agenda of pushing a different casino that is in Connecticut. This is a casino set in the middle of a city that has been struggling. The casino is smaller but planned out so well, taking into consideration the urban setting it is in. There are separate doors for all venues including restaurants, food court, cinema so people can bring their families and not walking through the gambling. Having been to the casino on several nights now I can tell you that I never felt unsafe. The casino planners and management did a great job on safety because downtown Springfield was not a place I would have gone in the evenings until now. The parking is free and there is ample of it. If you prefer there is valet parking. Inside the casino it is a bit pricey, especially for a city like Springfield but it is the same pricing as any casino. The casino is very clean (easy to be so because it is still new), the food at the food courts the restaurants are very good. I have been to Cal Mare a few times and TAP twice. I have not yet tried Chandlers. The gaming tables always have seats available even on a crowded night. While I have stayed to the $15 tables, I have seen a $5 table or two but they are harder to find. There are a lot of slots machines. I have never played slots so I can't give feedback on those. One of my favorite things about the new casino is the outdoor courtyards. On a nice night that has been a great atmosphere and I love the concerts they have been bringing into this spot. I have seen families hanging out in the evening playing with the large chess board or listening to music. I look forward to seeing what they bring to the courtyards in the winter. I've heard there will be ice skating MGM is a casino first and foremost but it offers a lot of variety of things to do, places to eat and it is a welcome addition to Springfield. read more

We visited MGM Springfield on Saturday(Labor Day Weekend). We live about an hour away from the casino and was very excited to check it out. We were so disappointed and frustrated. I totally agree with almost all the reviews on Yelp, besides one person who pointed out that MGM Springfield has only been open for 10 days so we can't compare it to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun who's been in the industry for over 25+. Clearly, he does not know who MGM is. MGM Resorts International owns probably over 15+ resorts Casino, so please don't give me the excuse that they do not know how to 'properly' run and open a Casino. It's no excuse for the King of Hospitality, Entertainment, and Gambling. Casino floorplan: TERRIBLE. - The aisle space is super narrow. Everyone is bumping into each other, it's the worst floorplan ever. Parking Garge: Self- parking is FREE. - Entering the Casino through the garage is really annoying because there is only 1 lane to enter and 1 lane to leave. It will take you forever to enter and leave. Restaurants: 3 main restaurants, 2 opens at 5PM. - TAP sports bar was understaffed. It was a 3- Day Holiday weekend, I clearly do not understand why they didn't hire more people. Also, they were the ONLY ones open, 25% if the restaurant tables are open but not seated. On top of that, you had to still wait in line for the BAR. Bars: Nothing is open until 5:00PM. - The Commonwealth Bar, the only bar that has live music. It's super small and was dead. Southend Market: Pathetic. - They advertised it like it was a HUGE Food Hall. It's merely 4 small food places located in the corner of the Casino. Worst then the Food Court at Malls. Outdoor area: Unique. - The only thing I would say that stood out to me was the outdoor area, it was kind of neat. We love MGM, but not this specific casino. Not impress at all. As a Mlife member, I received a brochure and information about MGM's new casino so I said why not? After all, I usually go to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT.... I'm sure MA's very first casino will be great!....I arrived in Springfield and right off the freeway I saw a HUGE line going into a major parking lot behind the casino but I decided to just take a side street and park on the side of an open lot. This was close to the entrance of the plaza. There was a security guard who was friendly enough and gave us some direction to the side entrance of the casino I found that the whole Casino area look like a mini mall from the outside going towards the entrance of the casino. The MGM building is a short 5 story and basically looks like a brownstone building converted into a hotel and the lobby level was extended into the mini mall. The outside plaza was definitely a walkable site when they put some alcohol vendors and a live band to encourage people to join in the fun...maybe to get them drunk happy to go gambling. They also added some corn toss games huge chess set and dominoes table. That's good if the weather is nice but what happens when winter comes? I think it definitely makes the area busy but I don't see how it's going to make the casino profitable. This casino is clean, nicely decorated with a contemporary New England theme, very small and has a gazillion slot machines and very little tables games. The minimum starting bids were high...$15 to $25. The games there were not traditional like blackjack ... I couldn't find the craps table, I did not see roulette either. I asked a dealer where they were and he pointed to a bunch of heads. I was so turned off by the table selection, I didn't bother putting a dime on any game and I sure as hell wasn't going to put my money in the slot machines. The floor plan is awful. The walkway was crowded and you could never walk here without bumping into someone. I don't even know why they have families come here because this casino is really not suitable for any children especially in strollers because they can't exactly go play the games. Casual dining is not typical food court selection. The Southend Market looked like a upscale cafeteria with a 6 restaurant layout....crowded. The Commonwealth Wine Bar looked cozy but dead. There are other restaurants in the casino like Cal mare, Tap Sports Bar and Chandlers steakhouse....dead. What I found interesting is NO valet outside of the MGM main entrance.... only drop off which seems very silly to me. Parking is messed up here. Just down the street in Mama Rico's parking lot, somebody is trying to charge $20 for parking space... Serious exploitation! And it was empty. Another interesting thing is they took the Armory and turned it into a M Life sign up service center. I mean why not turn it into a museum or a store? I'm not entirely sure if they are using that space temporarily but it is a waste of emptiness with a bunch of hanging chandeliers. I'm not entirely sure if this casino is going to help develop the rest of Downtown Springfield to it's utmost potential. It is going to take a while. Besides the casino, I don't really know if any other industry is going to join Springfield, helping employment spread in downtown. Overall, I do think it makes a city a little more inviting but there's no other place to go in the area besides the Basketball Hall of Fame and the Dr. Seuss Museum. These are nice...if you're a kid. I really wish The GM took the time to get input from existing mlife members in Boston on marketing strategy because it would help. If you're a gambler, I don't suggest you go here. Can't wait until they close this place for good. Mgm's slots have ALWAYS been tight, but these last few months they've been pathetic. Borderline fraudulent. They know they're going to close so they're pocketing as much of YOUR money as possible by tightening up their machines to pay out practically nothing. The bonuses, if you can even get one, are not even breaking twenty dollars anymore. Funny, eh? Or just coincidence. And it's not just me, it's EVERYONE saying the same. Nobody is going to buy this place. Noone. The patrons have the stink of mgm in their mouth and are turned off. Every payback is in the form of "threes'. Nothing hits past the third column, and no higher than 9s, 10s, or queens! So great if you're betting $2.64 a bet and get the VERY occasional $.15 cents back on it. $8.00 bonuses on 20 spins...the bullsh*t is endless. You want people to come and play? Give em back some. Keep them playing. If you drain every wallet in 15 minutes, Nobody stays, and nobody wants to return. Shove your garbage free play. Five bucks draws NOONE. Mgm is a disappointment and I'm glad they're going under. You can't take the fun out of gaming for everyone and expect people to come back. Nobody hollering over jackpots, there aren't any. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a 1920's era. The bed was very comfortable. Nice view of downtown Springfield. The bathroom was tastefully done in black and white subway tile and had a separate water closet. The walls are very thin. You can hear people in the hallway, the tv in the next room. The person walking around ups etc. etc. There is no mini bar or room service. To me this is a big downfall. Also there is no direct access from the valet or parking garage to the hotel lobby. You have to walk through the whole Casino with your bags. read more

Night of stay: 9/11/19 This room was comp'd to me as part of an mlife rewards promo. First time staying at MGM in Springfield. Pros: Beautiful room, great sitting area, wonderful steam shower, tasty, hot food, incredibly friendly staff everywhere I went. Cons: No in-room coffee or mini-fridge, thin walls, TV issues. The room was very nice - decor from old Springfield blended with modern amenities, very comfortable bed, comfortable temperature controls and nice lighting. Average closet space, separate toilet space. My favorites - the sitting area and the steam shower. The staff were incredibly kind - from housekeeping to guest services, mlife staff to front desk staff, security to restaurant staff. Everyone - without exception - were friendly, helpful and gracious. The Hotel Lobby and Bar was pretty empty when I visited, but has a nice vibe, a nice decor, great staff and reasonably priced drinks. A Lafroaig 10 year was about $14 - pretty average price for most hotels and restaurants in this area. The food is a little pricey, but very good and served as it should be - warm or cold. The hot buttered lobster roll at Jake's Lobster Shack in the food court is really good, and the steel cut oatmeal I ordered for breakfast delivered piping hot with brown sugar, walnuts, raisins and honey (all on the side so you can add as you like) was perfect! While on the casino floor I was kindly asked if I wanted a beverage. I asked if they had IPA's and to my surprise she brought back a bottle. No tiny plastic cup, no unknown variety. The fitness center is pretty well equipped from mats and balls to weights and strength training to cardio. Complimentary water and towels are abundant. Definitely try: Jake's Lobster Shack, The Hotel Lobby Bar, The Fitness Center. The downside: The room was advertised as a Main Street King, but my view was not of Main Street - rather the other side of the hotel or another part of a building. The walls are a little thin - I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone a fair amount, and I was disappointed that there was no in-room fridge. How do I keep my spiked seltzers or my leftovers cold? Also no sound on the TV for a bit, but that was fixed. The biggest downside: No in-room coffee. You have 3 options for coffee. (1) go to the food court and buy one (2) order a pot from room service for $14 (plus a $4.50 delivery fee and tip) or (3) go to the complimentary coffee bar on the second floor next to the spa. The thing is, the complimentary coffee bar is actually a big Starbucks machine that dispenses hot water, a few different types of coffee, hot chocolate and a Chai Tea Latte. People are forced to try to figure out how to operate it, and while some of us may get it, others do not. This caused a line - a wait, when I went to use it. If you need your morning coffee - not the most ideal. I was honestly surprised the hotel didn't have in-room coffee - a standard in most hotels of any budget. Still, by and large it was a very positive experience. Recommendations: Join Mlife rewards and get promos for free slot play, discounted and possibly free rooms, etc. Didn't try: spa, bowling alley, movie theater - all amenities offered on the property and hope to try next time. (I've booked another comp room later in October.) Also didn't try some of the finer dining restaurants, Chandler's for example. Summary: Nice room, very good food, fantastic staff - all of these would make for a pleasant stay for any guest. Not a ton to do as far as free entertainment goes, but there are music artists, sports, comedy acts, etc. for which you can purchase tickets. I'm up here on business and staying over for two nights this trip. Granted the room was comped to me I don't know if I would pay 179 per night for midweek. There are other local hotels for 99 per night that I have stayed at many times. But I still give this 4 stars as the rooms are very very nice obviously super modern since this property is just about 6 months old only. A few restaurants a few bars the usual slot machines and table games. security is everywhere on the gaming floor and there is one or two near the elevator area which is nice they check your key to make sure no one is getting up in the elevators to mess around or worse.. I will stop here regardless even if I don't stay here because I like to gamble a little bit and the drinks are free when you are gambling. read more

The worst experience of my life. Went to the MGM for a wedding. Security chased our party and tried to instigate a fight. It was the most unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed. Security at the MGM should be ashamed of themselves. Thank God police were there to diffuse the situation. Security were bullies and attempted to threaten and intimidate our party. We are not a group of kids but highly successful professionals. Security continued to treat our party as animals until the police stepped in and let us know that the security acted out of line. Aside from this, the hotel has no valet, no one to help you with your luggage, no room service and no one to help with any normal hotel requests. MGM should close this hotel down it's an embarrassment. read more

We were looking at a really cool gambling video game...my kids four years old...he likes shiny, blinky things... and casinos look no different than video arcades these days. I give them two stars because the hotel was very clean. However, seems like 60% of the hotel amenities are still not fully reopened as of Aug 2022. TAP Restaurant and Bowling alley is only open for the weekend in the evenings which is a bummer because thats the best thing the hotel has going for it. Pool is nice although they said it was heated and it wasn't. Jacuzzi was boiling and too hott to use and I love hot water. Rooms are nice, wish they had better lighting to be able to keep something on at night in case you need to get up. The opening screen is white and so bright as the first thing u see. And no drawers to use. House keeping skipped our room one day even though we asked for it via the light system (Which is really nice feature, if it would work better service wise). This hotel has great bones and potential, the amenities are there.... Just the execution is missing. Hotel security is unprofessional and a confrontation. Someone was being kicked out and the security guard was egging him on. Awful and really made us feel unsafe walking by. Also Stop the stupidity and let families walk to the Market with out feeling like we need to ask permission or we are doing something wrong. Open it up, put a sign to the market and make it feel inviting. The market (food court) closes way too early. Especially icecream/coffee shop which at night had some staff that seemed a bit flustered and didn't serve us because it was 9:01 by the time we got to the front of the line (8/9/2022). How do u look at 3 kids in the face and tell them it too late for ice-cream because they we closed after they already picked their flavors... she then complained that she needs another 45 mins to clean. Thankfully the guest in front of us, kindly gave us one of their ice cream they had just ordered. Those people were so kind... front desk assistant is a bit lite. Sometime u would go and no one was there for a few mins and other times it took over 30 mins to get anything because there was a line. In room phone service typically never answers even after waiting on hold. Its hard to find the parking garage for the hotel. Signage would help. The parking garage needs a good pressure was from the stink of pee. Its awful and dirty. Loved that there was a movie theater on site which also closes pretty early. Last movie show around 7-8 pm. We got kicked out of their indoor hallway by the conference rooms by security saying it too was closed. Manager was very kind when we brought up our concerns. MGM landed in Springfield with fanfare and brilliant marketing. We have been there four times since August--an accelerated visit schedule from our usual, where Foxwoods and Mohegan are an hour drive, rather than this 10 minute jaunt. We think they're doing a lot right. Slots pay better than expected, the service people are usually very available and very nice, and the perimeter of outside accessible restaurants is clever and hopefully helps the city's economy. So far, our main complaints are low ceilings--so very noisy, and The Tap Grill has VERY LONG lines, with no apparant reason, since we can see available tables. We think management needs a meeting. That said, The Tap Grill has very good chili, and our server, Jill, was very nice and made up for the long wait. read more

So let's talk about how annoying this place is; we were placed on the second floor of the hotel and there's a buzzing noise. Vibration noise throughout the entire hotel and you can not sleep. It sounds like above, below, side, outside construction noise that gets louder then goes away, and comes back. We were told by the customer service workers who answer calls for the front desk said there's no rooms available. When we went to the front desk all of a sudden there's a room available. Of course there's a change of workers and the previous worker name William was fucking lazy, and will report his ass working on 1.7.2019 before 11pm shift change. Most unprofessional worker who doesn't accommodate goes to William. This is crazy, of course when we are leaving a host Amy comes out to greet us about a suite that's available for us. She was extremely nice and tried to figure something out for us. She informed us that it was a refrigerator making that noise and our complaint was the first time they ever heard about it. She was able to find us a suite to stay in for the night and then comp food for our next stay. We were disappointed, but after calming down we ended up staying so we can sleep since it's pass midnight. The great thing about the food court at the MGM casino is that every Monday through Thursday seniors with an MGM card and photo ID get half off at all restaurants. I got a four dollar taco at Macho Taco for two dollars. It was tasty. Packed with meat. Half price at a restaurant is certainly rare so give it a try. read more

Awful service all around. TopGolf reservation time for my group made in advance was eventually changed to accommodate for larger party. Further, during day of reservation they cancelled us due to technical issues -- no apologies, no credits, no nothing. My group of 20 moved next door to the bowling alley, only to have the rude worker tell us we are only allowed a limited time since they will assume the "big party" will need it since the TopGolf is not working. After further back and forth, we were consistently told that they were a priority, even though they did not have advance reservation at the bowling alley nor were they even presently there. The worker was rude. We asked if we can sit in the lounge area (which was clearly free) and were told that we can only until the other party arrives. We were told later "great news! You are able to continue for another hour of bowling since the 'other party' isn't coming". My group have never experienced this type of second class citizen treatment...I don't think any of us will come back to this unprofessional joke of an establishment... read more

It's a casino, with bar and food options. So if you ignore people like Leyani L. (review on 9/2/2019), who tells you she is "not a casino expert" but then proceeds to review the casino... you'll find a gem in the middle of Springfield. The MGM Springfield is a fantastic place if you are looking to gamble, with plenty of low and high limit table game options, and a variety of fun slot machines including many designed to seat two (so you and your loved one can lose all your money together). The hotel is a little weird but nice, the rooms were small but clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved the check-in/out from the MGM app and the use of digital keys, I didn't have to visit the front desk at all. There are a bunch of restaurants throughout the facility but none of them are open. There are some bars too, but they're not open. Oh wait, that's not true - the one bar on the gaming floor was open. But that's OK, there are waitresses on the gaming floor... but they are few and far between. And they don't actually bring drinks after we've asked for them. Or they don't show up when using the call button on the slot machines. I was playing a table game and asked the dealer if we could get a waitress to get some drinks, he laughed and said "good luck". The pit boss said "I think I saw one over there" but none ever came by. Do you know how when you're playing and you hear people yelling & cheering when they win at the craps table, they get a blackjack or they get a big win on a slot machine? Don't worry, you won't be bothered by that here because it doesn't happen. The slots are super tight, we played for 2 days and barely won anything at all. On the two open roulette tables I watched people exchange money for chips, put the chips on the board and then walk away a few spins later with no chips left. The blackjack tables use automatic card shufflers instead of a shoe so the house increases it's odds. The morning we were leaving we looked for a place to get breakfast but nothing was open. We wound up walking a few blocks through a seedy looking area to eat at a greasy spoon (which was actually really good). It would have been nice to just take the elevator down to the concourse of the hotel instead of having to walk for 15 minutes away from the hotel. I've been to casinos all over the country and don't ever remember seeing so much security for such a small place. There were security people checking bags at the entrances to the gaming floor and yellow shirts standing around the permitter watching everybody. Maybe they think having so much security makes people feel safer but to me it had the opposite effect, it made me wonder if they have big issues with crime here. Worst casino I have ever been to. No smoking except outside. The place I just dull. Absolutely no excitement in here. More excitement in a morgue. Will never be coming back. The best restaurant you have is closed Monday through Thursday. Big disappointment. read more

Immediately harassed upon entering for having a tiny pocket knife with me. I was told I had to surrender it to them.... Maybe this is a scam by security to get free stuff from people?!?! What has this world come to?!?! Sorry MGM but you lost any business I would have given and any money I may have lost. What a terrible way to treat people looking to patronize your establishment. After reading a handful of reviews I'm seeing a pattern of customer harassment on behalf of the security there!! I'm also seeing theft of belongings from hotel rooms and theft from cars using valet service!!! Something seems fishy here. Please be aware of this and choose not to patronize places like this!!!! Went for the very first time today. 4 of us, all older women. No casino experience. Horrible experience. No one would help us figure out how to load those stupid cards you have to get. How to do anything with any of the machines. Boy they sure wanted our money. We figured that out after about 5 minutes so we just decided to eat. Ate the Harvest Grill. HORRIBLE. Salads were lousy. The chicken was so salty it was unedible. Potatoes were ok. Fish chower eh, do-able. Walked around, watched a husband slap his wife across the face and nobody did anything. They're only interested in your money. Not if we'd be willing to come back. Experience was so awful we'll never, ever go back. Thanks for nothing. read more

If you don't want to get robbed, DO NOT stay at their hotel. I posted on FB over a year ago how we went to MGM and stayed at their hotel and when we tried to use our hotel card to enter the elevator that takes you to your room, it didn't work. Had to go to desk and have them fix the problem. When we got to our room, noticed that my rayban sunglasses were gone, a bottle of expensive perfume and my brand new reef sandals were all stolen. If you haven't just seen the news about MGM Springfield it's worth looking ita up. A man staying at the hotel was a high roller like us, he was offered tickets to a baseball game in Boston and was provided transportation for two. He later found when he went back to MGM and went to his hotel room ironically his card wouldn't allow him to use the elevator either so he goes to front desk who had checked him out of his room minutes after he booked the room and they rerented his room and $21,900. 00 was stolen from his safe!!! If the dogs and security doesn't speak for itself this story should definitely chase you away. By the way, you never win there either and if you think you can even order a drink from a waitress, you can forget that idea, they don't give free drinks and they don't have any waitresses to wait on you so plan on being thirsty, loosing your money and getting ripped off loosing personal belongings from their hotel not to mention, DO NOT use their safe in the room as their is definitely crime going on there and it is plotted and planned on how to rob you by more than one department. So, for me this is one of my regular getaways. Facility: This is kind of like a small town. No, there aren't a million restaurants, and there are certain things it lacks in comparison to other big casinos, but it has everything you need. It's also great that it's a non-smoking casino. Restaurants: There are two sit down options (steak or Italian). Both are good. There is a food court type of area for casual eats. It does offer one 24 hr option (although beware, this place comes with a long wait for food). Room service is decent and quick (comes with the price tag for convenience) - but take note that it ends at 10pm. There used to be a Starbucks onsite, but sadly it is not there anymore. Spa: This is a pretty small spa, but I love it here. I have not yet found my perfect masseuse, as I have had someone different each time. However, the aesthetician, Robin, is phenomenal. I have had a handful of facials with her, and she is A+. Casino: I have had great luck at this place, and I have really enjoyed playing here. The crowd varies quite a bit, and some nights are certainly much more quiet than others. All in all, love the tables - lots of them. Hotel: Great comps if you're a player. I always book a room with a tub to relax. Overall, a great value. The one issue here is that it's very loud. Sound travels between rooms, and people are loud especially on weekends. I once listened to an entire night of fighting and it almost felt like I was in my last relationship again; it felt like we were all in the same room. Entertainment is where this property falls short. They don't have a traditional theater space, so they only have sporadic entertainers passing through. For this to be a 5 star, I'd need: robes in rooms, sound proof rooms, better entertainment, 24 hr room service, additional breakfast options (the one place here - which is also the 24 hr joint, is not large enough to supply people with their food in a reasonable wait time). But even though I rate it a 4 star, it's still a fun place that I frequent often. read more
