Such a cute place and very affordable. It was a little tricky to find at first since the address is common so we went to another 20 Springfield but when I called, Marci (the owner) picked up and was able to assist with directions. There's plenty of parking in the back and check-in was easy. There's no lobby or reception area per se but Marci gave us the code for the back door and for our room. Each room is uniquely themed. We stayed in the Gamma Green room which had a large TV, hulk related memorabilia, and a random aquarium. There wasn't a light above the shower which should probably get installed or fixed. Breakfast is only from 8:30 to 9:30. For breakfast, she made cheesy eggs with a pumpkin trifle and a cheesy omelet with a blueberry muffin/trifle. I sensed a theme in the breakfasts but everything was delicious, especially the blueberry. I loved her selection of mugs too. read more

A quaint option for travelers looking for a touch of New England charm coupled with a hint of unique hospitality. The Inn consists of eight rooms over three floors, each with its own distinct theme. Guests are provided with a keypad code to enter the Inn, along with their own separate code to enter their room. There are no key cards or fobs. The schlage doors will lock about 15 seconds after opening. A second, mechanical top lock is also provided. Water pressure is good in the showers. Rooms look a little smaller in person than on some booking sites. I did see there were no evacuation routes posted in the event of an emergency, although fire extinguishers and smoke alarms were present. The owner lives adjacently to the Inn, and welcomes guests beginning at 830a with an excellent casserole breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage and a cranberry muffin confection that was simply outstanding. There is a children's hospital across the street but don't let that fool you. You will sleep soundly enough. The property looks as if they are planning some renovations in the future. I stayed here while attending the Amherst Railway Train Show, as it is located conveniently near the Big E. A cute and hip choice vs. franchise locations in the area. Included breakfast starts at 0830. Silly system. If you eat, you ll still be there at nine. This home has ADA access. The entrance is in the back. The instructions are to use your phone number to access the door and door to your room. But not your area code, just the other 7 numbers. And press the brand emblem on top to turn on the keypad. Just to clarify. This is directly across from the hospital. Actually emergency entrance. But no sirens at night. Only road noise. You Can't miss the two story yellow house with white trim. Number 20. The huge parking lot is in the back. I think it is shared with the neighbor. There is a black car in the lot down on the rims with vegetation growing Out of the rear wheels. Certainly not a guest. Our bed was fine and the shower was a good pressure. The furnishings are antique groupings to give the room A theme. Ours was Asian with a mix of a German drinking mugs display and a English armoire. So a kind of "close enough " thinking style. We had planned to use this spot as a hub to go to the Brimfield Antique show. And we did, but it's 45 minutes away in traffic and we decided it was too far. But our lodging expense is about half of what it would have been if we were closer. And many were sold out long ago to be near Brimfield. So while this stay was good enough, it's unlikely we ll use it again. A plus was our host checked in by text to ask about our satisfaction and see if we wanted breakfast on either morning. We declined. We left before seven am both days. Literally stay anywhere else. When we went to get into bed, we got bit by something. Pulled the sheets back to inspect and saw what we believe to be evidence of fleas. There was also someone else's hair in the bed, on the toilet, and all over the shower. It was disgusting. The bed is is just two mattresses jammed together but one is really old so they wrapped it in nasty old quilts to make up for the height difference. We left after midnight to find a hotel for the night. And now they are refusing any refunds. read more

i am so glad i found this gem. its an old house but its perfect for when you dont want to stay in hotels. theres plenty parking at the back. The room has a tub, hot water and all the toilet essentials. The bed is very nice and very clean, i know because i have severe allergies to dust and mold. The best part is the television. This place has all the apps and all the channels. We were able to watch baseball on apple tv. We skipped breakfast but im sure it was good as we saw people eating at the dining area when we left. read more

It was my first time visiting Springfield Mass, I went there to get together with friends and family. Prior to my arrival, one of my friends recommended this place because she had suggested this place for someone else in the past. They had a very positive feedback so she suggested I should book a room as well so I did. Upon arrival, I met Marci, she greeted us like she knew us from way back very warm and hospitable. Very cute Inn with a quick uber ride to the casino or downtown Springfield. Loved the room; king size firm comfy bed with a super comfy couch in front of the electric fireplace and TV. My fiancé and I celebrated our Valentine's weekend here and he absolutely loved it! Our room had a balcony with no special view, but it felt private. There was also a kids room with a bunk bed that could fit 3 people (twin over queen) - which we didn't need, but it was nice to know you could bring a few of the kids if you wanted to. I had a little check in issue but reached out to the owner who promptly rectified it. Breakfast was amazing, homemade egg soufflé with Apple streusel muffins (I am guessing as to what it's called ) with coffee and orange juice brought to our room! This is definitely a quaint bed and breakfast where the owner does everything, so you would be remiss to expect a big chain hotel vibe. As a native of the area, how did I not know about this sooner? Naomi's is a true hidden gem, so conveniently located in the midst of the city but once you turn into the driveway you feel like you are miles away! Very welcoming, awesome artwork throughout, and each item of decor is clearly hand-picked and perfect for the room. We stayed in the Portobello Room, which was like a small apartment with a king-sized bed in one room and a double/twin bunk set in the other room. Breakfast was delicious, a peaceful air pervades the property, and the level of care devoted to every little thing was so apparent. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend!!! read more

I stayed at Naomi's Inn with my son. It is right across the street from the Baystate hospital and my son was having surgery. We loved everything about it- location (of course), spacious room with a small porch (we stayed in the Kinda Cape room), comfortable beds, large walk-in shower, keyless entry for the inn and your room (we arrived around 11pm so being able to come in and get to our room without disturbing anyone was great), and breakfast was accommodating and delicious. My conversation during breakfast with the owner Marci was lively and engrossing. Plus, since I wasn't sure when my son would be ready to leave, she offered a late check out, just in case. First BnB experience and it was horrible. Short and sweet review. Food was left in our refrigerator from the night before. Dust was still on the coffee table by the bed. Wood floors creak extremely loud. Best advice is to have a room on the second floor. We were on the first floor and the people upstairs (not sure if they were guests or friends of the innkeeper) but heard non stop banging and running around at about 1am. Texted and complained to Naomi but she did not reply or even bring it up during breakfast. We had dogs with us and let them know before hand. But last minute we were told that dogs were not allowed on the second floor so our rooms were switched to the first floor. Even smaller room. Came back after dinner and heard dogs upstairs. Lied to about that... Also when we checked in. Naomi mentioned that they never really accept dogs in their room and that they made an exception to us since it was Christmas. But on their own website they said they allow dogs. Must of said that to get on their good side. Naomi was not very welcoming and rude to other guests during breakfast. This other couple did not speak english well and had trouble with them menu but Naomi started raising her voice and almost seemed fed up with them. Overall I would not recommend this place read more

The pros: easy access to the interstate, flexible easy checkin even late at night, some lovely creative decor, some may like being directly across the street from the Emergency Room? I wanted to love this place as a getaway with my daughter, as we love charming older-home bed and breakfasts. The cons: not reliable service - upon checkin we were downgraded without refund (to no-breakfast-included and a totally different room with 2 less beds that was listed online at $87/night cheaper than what I had been pre-charged); not a reliably quiet location - you may need ear plugs to sleep (I have video of multiple hospital helicopters landing/departing overhead & right across the street near midnight); not reliable cleanliness - some mold/cracked bathroom issues but most importantly with the abrupt room switch and with witnessing the innkeeper washing piles of sheets at 11 at night there is reasonable suspicion this is why I now have to treat BED BUGS in my house for the first time in my life (!!!); not reliably professional and trustworthy - my advice is to get everything IN WRITING in case you need to dispute charges for unacceptable services, as I did. **Please note when considering their reviews: to get a refund directly from Naomi's Inn, they require agreement to this: "it is our policy that if a refund is issued for any reason that you or anyone referencing your stay is not able to review/acknowledge our place on any source." I ended up having to get my refund through Paypal claim resolution as I do not waive my right to post a fair review. Despite all this, I do wish them well as these are difficult times for everyone, especially those in hospitality/tourism, and as they make CRUCIAL further improvements for the comfort and safety of their guests. And if you choose this location, I hope they have made ALL these improvments and you have only pros, no cons. read more

Be careful my family stayed for 2 nights it was a Nitemare!! My kids were scared because of bugs small little ants possible roaches not sure! and i mentioned this to Marci she said its ok because they dont bite!! Omg! The parking lot is full of Mud! Reuined my shoes! And the coffee is watered down ! Its not coffee the only good thing about this Place is the Hospital is next door if you get biten by any bugs or infection! Stayed here this past weekend. Had an event at the MGM and this was very conveniently located and a much more affordable option than staying at the hotel (a $6-$7 Uber ride) We stayed in the Simple elegance room and oooed and aaahed over the obviously carefully chosen decor while also appreciating the luxury of the 60 inch TV. I stayed with a friend. She took the bed and I thought I was taking one for the team by agreeing to take the daybed- but it turned out to be one of the most comfortable nights sleeps of my life. If I had the literary skill to compose a poem I would insert one here. "Ode to a daybed" I'm still daydreaming about the pillows. Where in not for the logistical complications and my cursed moral compass that daybed would be in my house and my bed would be on the sidewalk. But I digress... The place was charming. I was wishing the weather was better so I could have taken advantage of the lovely back deck and fire pit. Marci was welcoming and friendly. And I would definitely stay here again if I found myself in Springfield. The only cautionary tale is that if you plan to sleep in, the simple elegance room may not be for you as it is adjacent to the breakfast room and you can hear the other guests arriving and chatting at breakfast. We are currently staying at Naomi's Inn while my child has surgery at Baystate Medical Center across the street. The pros - the location is terrific. The rooms are quite nice, very clean and comfortable. The not so good - the customer service is non existent. The day prior to our stay I received an email saying that I would receive the key code to open the exterior and room doors. I never received it. Instead I had to call when we arrived and then we awkwardly stood around while the person that showed up tried to program our room door. We were given no other information about anything. Knowing already that breakfast is advertised from 8:30 until 9:30 we showed up at 8:50 and proceeded to wait until 9:25 for someone to appear to make breakfast. We had no idea who to contact or what the protocol was. While we waited a young woman walked by, looked at us, left something in the "employees only" kitchen and walked out of the building without acknowledging us. So much for breakfast.... After a long day at the hospital we returned to our room. At 10:30 tonight someone checking in another guest walked into our room, while I was in bed, scaring the heck out of me. I called the only phone number I have and was told the innkeeper made a mistake. The "Do Not Disturb" sign was also on the door. Now I'm worried about our safety. Honestly if I didn't have a kid in the hospital across the street we would pack up and go somewhere else tonight. I really wanted to enjoy staying here but for us it just didn't work. read more

We had an incredible stay at Naomi's while we were visiting the hospital across the street. The entire staff there was incredibly accommodating, kind, and easy to communicate with. Our room was warm, comfortable, and homey. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, coffee available anytime we wanted, and literally a five minute walk from the women's and infants hospital in Springfield. I stayed here with my friend the night before I had surgery at Baystate Medical Center, and my friend stayed another night while I was in the hospital. It is right across the street, so within walking distance which was really convenient. The place itself was so cozy, I wish I could have stayed there longer. We had the "Global Fusion" room which had a very comfortable bed and a couch with a tv, it felt like an apartment more than a hotel room. The decor was themed for world exploration which was a nice touch. I only saw our room, but, all the other rooms have their own themes too, if I stay again I want to try the gamma green room with the aquarium. While I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast as I was in the hospital, my friend who did told me it was made to order and he loved it. Very satisfied with my stay here, would stay again if I'm in the area. read more

I was not impressed staying here for one night. We've stayed at many New England B&Bs to compare and unfortunately left here feeling disappointed. There were many negatives. The worst things were the fire alarm going off in the morning due to the kitchen crew burning breakfast and that our room had no temperature controls. A blaring fire alarm to wake you, and firefighters shlepping outside our room caused by carelessness is inexcusable. It was too cold in our room and we frankly feel as guests we have the right to turn up the thermostat and not have to tell staff twice we felt chilled. Other things that bothered us..the dining room didn't have a table, but and old piano as a table which was cluttered and too large for the room, we want to be served breakfast not told the coffee or muffins are "over there", the breakfast was terrible by the way, the entrance and deck area needed lots sprucing up and there was no common area in the house for guests to unwind. With a B&B we want service, cleanliness, attention to detail and a warm inviting atmosphere. Not much here sorry to say. read more

We loved our stay at Naomi's Inn. We arrived past check in so we called the number on the door and the inn keeper came running over which was greatly appreciated given it was a snow storm. The breakfast was fabulous. There was place settings for my family ready to go when we woke up. I started making my coffee with Almond milk and she noticed and put coconut whipped cream on my french toast without me having to ask for it. Such a simple gesture. Who has coconut whipped cream on hand??? We were in town for a yearly event and will 100% come back. read more

I needed a room for 2 nights at a B&B to prepare for a surgery at Baystate Hosptial. Naomi's is a 2 minute walk from the surgery center. The quick walk/ride allowed me to be available to the medical team and also offered food and rest for my girlfriend that was timely and accessible. I expected a room and a bed; my expectations were blown out of the water. The owner and innkeeper cares deeply for her clients, the rooms are unique and even entertaining, and my girlfriend reports the breakfasts hit the spot. It became clear to us that the Inn/staff is very family focused, willing to adapt to individualized needs, and open-minded. We are strongly considering staying at Naomi's again for the Big E. Also loved the gradual ramp outside the B&B to the deck for my wheelchair needs. read more

Lived here for 2 months while doing a rotation for dental school. Great place to stay. Had a comfortable bed, room was clean, and the fish were a cool added touch. Staff were attentive and helped me out any way they could. They even made me breakfast a bit earlier for a few times. I was there during the winter and can say that I never had problems with the driveway. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area. read more

Naomi's Inn Bed and Breakfast exceeded all expectation. Marci Webber is the consummate host. The communication was superb throughout the entire process of booking the room and receiving the passcode. Marci was available onsite and by text - we never felt left alone. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. Every detail was thought of - including a coffee machine and mini-fridge in the room and black-out curtains for us light-sensitive sleepers. Even though other rooms were occupied, we never heard another guest and we were never disturbed by the hospital across the street. A hot breakfast in the morning was a welcome and homey way to complete a perfect stay. We also REALLY enjoyed Marci's artistry - her paintings and wall murals on display throughout this lovely home. My fiancé and I had such an amazing experience staying at this wonderful and cozy bed and breakfast. Marci, the owner of Naomi's Inn went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Gets high score for amazing and helpful staff, quietness and overall convienience. Sure there are fancier places to stay, however if you're getting your head down for the night and travelling through this is a great deal for 118 bucks a night for a double including a yummy custom made breakfast. I only got to stay one night at Naomi's but it was wonderful. Ultra chic, clean, friendly. I'm not an "Econo Lodge" kinda gal, so I look for fun and more creative places to stay. Staff was friendly, rooms were beautiful, and breakfast was yummy. The coffee was extra delicious. What more could a traveler want? I was given a restaurant recommendation and it turned out to be spot-on what I was looking for as a solo diner. "The Mick" up in Holyoke and well worth the 20 minute drive up the highway. I travel all the time for my job and love to stay at various B&Bs around the country. I have to say, I've stayed at MANY B&Bs, and this one is easily in my top 3 favorites! Not only because the place is gorgeous and the rooms are absolutely beautiful and meticulously decorated, each with a different theme, (which is genius because it makes me want to come back over and over so I can experience each one!) but mostly because the innkeeper, Marci, is SUCH a doll! The innkeeper can make our break your stay at a B&B, but Marci has as much or more charm than her B&B has! She absolutely has made my stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable, and she's a fabulous cook to boot! Breakfasts are always delicious and lovingly prepared. I definitely feel at home at Naomi's, and that is truly the most important quality I look for in a B&B. :-) read more
