Visited during summer months so we did not get the complimentary breakfast as school was not in session, though complimentary coffee and tea were available. The tables looked pretty with white table cloths and baby blue napkins, they had adorable stuffed animal decorations on the buffet and a pretty wooden rocking chair for me to sit in near the windows when it was time for the games. I had assumed my mother had provided all those props and decorations, but she said Willits provided everything! I thought that was pretty impressive. They even provided a microphone for the games. The food was delicious. We did a breakfast buffet. Since I am vegan, Willits made me my own vegan entree without hesitation (my mother let them know in advance.) Normally, when traditional restaurants make me a vegan option, it's not that great. But Willits made me a really delicious tofu scramble, and I was happily surprised by how good it was. My mother told me that Jennifer, Assistant Director of Conference and Event Services at Willits, was extremely helpful and stayed in contact with her throughout the planning. We also had my bridal shower there ten years prior, so it felt really special to have my baby shower there, too. It's a beautiful venue. Not to mention, one whole wall is glass and overlooks the gorgeous lake and campus. Thank you, Willits, for providing such a beautiful space for a memory we will cherish.

It was immaculate, and perfectly cozy and welcoming. Pat (the host) sent flawless directions on how to get there and where to park, and greeted us when we arrived. She told us all about the unit and even offered a suggestion for dinner when we asked about local restaurants (the Yarde Tavern she recommended was superb). It was exceptionally cold outside the weekend we stayed, but we had no issues with heat inside the unit... we were nice and toasty warm the entire time. We loved the included coffee and had several cups during our stay. The notes about the area and even the local water were so helpful, and I felt completely comfortable drinking the tap water. Everything about our stay was perfect... it felt like a home away from home and had amazing little appointments (like extra blankets) that made it feel so wonderfully homey and comfortable. The unit itself is gorgeous and decorated with all the right little touches. The bathroom is AMAZING - I wish I had the same at home! My husband works while on the road, so having a solid internet connection was much appreciated! Often in hotels you have speed problems, but we had none. Outstanding! And having the extra space in the second bedroom where he could set up his laptop was a great bonus as well. As you can tell, we truly loved our experience staying here. I can't say enough good things about it. We love the area and will definitely stay at the White Rose BNB when we come back for another visit. HIGHLY recommended!! Ps. Have breakfast at Sylvester's and browse Thorns Marketplace in Northampton. Get a treat at The Pie Bar in Florence. Have dinner and a movie in South Hadley. Get dinner and donuts in Amherst. All a short drive away!!

It is only the cottage that is available for guests and the price is quite reasonable. Pat, the owner, has thought of everything practical and tied it all together in elegance. The cottage sleeps 2 - 6 people and is really a super large room with a loft but part of the great room is sectioned off by an armoir and curtain with a queen size bed enclosed. The floor to ceiling curtains give a bit of wimsy to the room that is tastefully decorated. Fisher speakers are part and parcel to the entertainment system. (I wasn't able to try them out but the next time we definately will) The leather couch and loveseat were perfect for sitting around and talking until 1am. The dining room table was roomy enough for dinner and glasses of wine. The galley style kitchen was well stocked with paper towels, sandwich bags, cutlery, pans, mugs, wine glasses, bowls, decent steak knives and coffee condiments among so many other things. The palate for the kitchen is a gorgeous red, black wrought iron and stainless steel. The bathroom was roomy and had so many towels! I love that! There was bar soap, and a simple shampoo. Also decorated quite nicely. The skylight brightened the room during the day and allowed for bug-free star gazing at night. The Loft had a king size bed that was uber comfortable, an excess of blankies, a lovely mirror and a table with chairs along with a wing back sitting chair. Lots of rubber coated hangers and an iron and ironing board were in the space as well. Another star-gazing skylight available. Did I mention there was a washer and dryer along with a hand-wash airdryiing set up? Fridge stocked with bottled water too and coffee in the freezer. Lovely and well-kept gardens and a breakfast to die for! Pat is quite accommodating and super nice. Tell her Joanne, Atom and Ron sent you!

But, I had to knock off a star because the Wifi in the rooms doesn't work. This is a massive disappointment for what is supposed to be a modern hotel. As is the case with technical things, I assumed it was a me problem. The friendly front desk staff explained that the public WiFi works fine but the guest Wifi is problematic. This means that after driving for 2 hours and arriving hangry and with hours worth of work to do, I have to sit in the lobby to get anything done. It is challenging to focus because there are other groups here talking. I am loyal to the Marriott brand and have the gold lifetime elite to prove it, but I don't think I will stay in this hotel again. After a day of work, I want to be able to settle in my room, order some food, take my bra off, and do the work I need to do to get ready for the next day. So I must say, this is a huge disappointment.

They have wine and beer for sale. Neither selection is great but duckhorn reds are a strong option. No IPAs for beer and that's disappointing. Hot water seemed limited when we were there but perhaps they were booked up and we were all using it at once? We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We stopped here (two cyclists) freezing cold, and the woman at the desk welcomed us in and gave us a rate comparable to a Motel 6. I haven't tried this brand like ever during my 9 years or so of traveling, since I have read online…read morereviews of these properties under this brand. You know, since this Motel property fit the budget parameters, I decided to check this place out just to see what they're all about. America's best value inn is one of those budget friendly hotel options that you may want to consider applying your next vacation. While this option can be used for stretching your travel dollars to a maximum use, do your research before booking. I was surprised that this property was as decent as a Motel 6. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as they say online I will but you never know with some people. For me, it was a basic but pleasant stay and I would consider looking for another America's best value Inn on future travels. I arrived here for one night in Holyoke, MA on a recent October 2016 stay. This particular hotel does mirror motel 6 a little bit and the accommodations are basic, yet comfortable at the same time. The selling point of America's best value Inn is basically the cost. It's relatively cheap, based on the area you are staying in. For me at this location in Holyoke, Ma, the price was around $69/night. The overall experience here in Holyoke, MA was as decent as ever. Yes, I chose this property for the price and i did look elsewhere to see if I could have avoided this one, but at the end of the day, I wanted to check this property out and I'm pleased with the results. This particular America's Best Value Inn is located at 671 Northampton Street here in Holyoke, MA. I have stayed in 4 star hotels to the 1 stars, including Motel 6's across the USA, so I know the game. Even motel 6 is pretty decent when it came to basic accommodations and a Roof over your head for a cheap price. It's the same premise for America's Value Inn. While this property isn't for everyone, it can be an option for budget friendly folks who want that extra value for their travel dollar, myself included. They accept credit cards, which is always nice. This Motel is basically one large building with two floors, I believe. They also have private parking lot, but it does seem like they don't have that much spaces. I was glad that I had found a spot next to my room, so I could get in and out with out walking lol. Like some budget motels, they do not offer free breakfast. The wifi is not really good, so I just used my cellular data for the night. The television worked alright, so I just spent the evening with my Subway footlong sandwich and watched television. Relaxing is the most important thing while on vacation after all. The room itself was small but comfortable. The bed was decently comfortable as well and and I slept around 7 1/2 hours that night. This stay has been a pretty good one and thought that this brand ain't so bad. However, my guess is that it may be franchisee owned and operated, so I can guess that each property will vary in appearance and perceived comfort on everyone who stays here. Like I mentioned before, it's pretty basic. Just a bed and a TV and some furniture. Along with A private shower, that's as basic as you can get without having to pay extra for a basic basic accommodations. If you are into that, without the bells and whistles, this property may be the best fit for you. I have pretty low expectations, but I always value my personal safety when it comes to booking hotels and the brand-name that's associated with it. Plus, it has to be clean too. At the end of the day, it's all about comfort and happiness of the traveler who staying at the hotel. I was good with this day and happy with the basic comforts and accommodations that this hotel had provided me. After all, 7 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep after running 26.2 miles over the weekend was epic and blissful. Keeps me sane and happy. :) 4.0 stars for the room and the bed comfort. 4.0 stars for the check in and out service. 4.0 stars for room cleanliness and basic maintenance. 4.5 stars for the cheap rates.
