Me and my wife just stay here this past weekend .We went to the Air Show at Barnes Air Force Base in Westfield .I would say the room was cleaned and the General Manger Lisa was great .It's a great location for the basketball hall of fame which is on the other side of the high way . I would not recommend that you walk around the area it's not in s great location .I would say if your looking for places to eat Empire Pizza is the best choice they menus in the lobby . This hotel has no ATM and the closes is one is a mile down the Road. The free breakfast they have is ok not bad but the orange juice was way water down .not great.The pineapple is not real pineapple it taste like from a can . So over all it's an ok hotel read more

They billed me $ 200 for deep cleaning after I left. There is a huge scam going on with this branch of Hampton Inn. Totally avoid this hotel. When I called them, they were rude and put blame on me. AVOID this hotel if you want to save money and grace. read more

Checked in for dance competition l. Wasn't expecting anything amazing but first sights upon entering the room will probably say a lot about the stay. Cheerio's, dirty straws, blueberries all on the floor. Rugs clearly not vacuumed. My wife went down to the front desk right away, not even an apology just I will change your room. Well G thanks. , again, my expectations were low. I'm really surprised that Hilton runs this operation. The second room is slightly cleaner, but you can tell the vacuuming and cleaning job just wasn't up to par. read more

Yikes...not worth the price to stay.... So thankfully, our rooms were clean but extremely stuffy. Furnishings are cheap and very minimalistic..even basic drawers (ex. chest of drawers) are lacking in the rooms. Instead, You're provided with a metal rack inside a cupboard...think kinda like a college dormitory. The hotel itself is located very close to the basketball hall of fame, but the surrounding area is dismal and depressing. 1 star extra for the decent (free) continental breakfast and free wifi. If you're a hilton honors member, don't waste your time and save your expectations. Overall, this place is not the worst, but compared to other hampton inns, this is the low man on the totem pole. read more

Not impressive in any way shape of form. Even the coffee is just lukewarm. That defines the entire hotel and the staff.

HILTON & HAMPTON INN SUCK!!! We are Hilton Honors members and we booked 2 night reservation so we could beat the heat and enjoy Six Flags. But we woke up to our 10 year old having a rash and 101 temperature. We called to see if we could shift our reservation to the middle of next week and the hotel manager would not be flexible at all with us. She just told us we had to cancel our reservation and would be billed $129. This, even after we paid extra on room rate in the case we needed to cancel!! It is amazing that Hilton would do this as Covid numbers are on the rise again. Do they want sick people to stay at their hotel because they don't want to be out $129 for nothing in return? We feel especially upset as Hilton Honors members who always try to choose Hilton when we travel. Seems very short-sighted. It was a good value and location. The room was fine: the AC was cold and the beds were very comfortable. We walked 5 minutes to Pizzeria Uno. My daughter went to 6 Flags which was 10 minutes away, my wife and I went To MGM casino which was even closer. We all had a fun weekend in Springfield and this was a convenient and comfortable place to stay. read more

Stayed here Christmas night and room was okay. Tissues weren't stocked so we only got a few in our box before it ran out. Found some small hairs in our bathtub/shower so that's always unpleasant. Besides that, it was okay. Free parking, convenient location near highways, breakfast which included hot items, was included with our stay. I stayed at this hotel for two night while getting my daughter set up for college. the road noise was really loud. On the second night there was thumping on the floor above me for over 5 hours. I complained 3 times to the front desk as this went on until after midnight. They kept telling me they handled it but clearly they did not. The next morning I asked to speak to the manager and they said they would have him contact me. It's been over two weeks since I've been home and I have not heard a word from the hotel manager. read more

Oct 1 i checked into the Hampton Inn in town for the Big E i was able to check in early at that while the gentleman was getting my ppwrk together i asked how busy is the hotel he said it's at 98% capacity he gave me my keys i proceeded up to my room on the third floor got my things inside went to sit down put my keys down on the night stand it's warped broke ok i go to open the shade look up the curtain is off the track i go to pull the chaise closer to watch tv there's rose petals on the floor i go and try to iron my clothes to go to the Big E later that day and there's a screw missing go into the bathroom toilet tissue holder broke screw loose gone floor filthy i go to the front desk and told them their response ok someone will take care of it i have since left i go and look at my receipt they charge me $4.95 for internet i didn't use they credit it back but then put it back on my cc they finally fixed it and also i have called twice to speak to a manager one at 9a and one at 5p and no manager call back from 7-3 smh mask mandate in place no one was wearing one i didn't get a picture of that i have a picture of everything else though I'm demanding a full refund reached out to corporate via Twitter and email and I'm still waiting read more

Disappointed in customer service and staff. My 18 year old son booked the room, we verified their policy online before booking, as we know some hotels policy is 21+. Took a screenshot of the link with the 18+ terms from the site just in case any issue at check in. When my son went to check-in (at 10 pm) they said 21+. He showed her the link from their site that said 18+. And they said nothing they could do. I called hotel and explained we live 2.5 hours away, anything they can do...and they offered nothing. They could have offered to see if another Hilton nearby with 18+ policy had a room. Or could have asked me for an additional credit card, in the event of issues. Instead my son is driving 2.5 hours tired after a long day on his feet. read more

If asked, staff at the Hampton Inn would describe the room style as "modern and minimalist". I would describe it as comfortable and clean, with emphasis on plenty of plugs and environmental awareness: in this reviewer's eyes, not cozy. But the warmth and professionalism of the staff makes up for the decor. Alexandra, on night shift both nights of my stay, is a perfect example: she "fixed" my tv, found garbage bags for me and provided me with plates and silverware when my Indian food delivery arrived with none of the above. The day staff was equally as hospitable. I'd have to say that the staff would be the major reason in my decision to come back to the Hampton Inn. read more

STRANGERS WALKED INTO MY HOTEL ROOM AT 4 AM!!! The hotel staff issued a strange couple that I DO NOT KNOW a pair of keys to the room I was staying in. I was frightened awake hearing people talking and seeing someone standing without a mask on at the FOOT OF MY BED next to a table where my purse and other belongings were!!! I was so shaken, I could not sleep for the rest of the night! Anything could have happened and I didn't know whether or not the strangers would return to the room at any point. My friend and I could have been robbed, raped, murdered, exposed to covid and a number of other horrific potential scenarios because the hotel staff mistakenly didn't check me in and charged my reservation as a no show. I had 4 conversations with hotel management and the front desk staff including the manager on staff at the time, Lisa, who behaved very casually as if I was in a fitting room at a store and someone opened the door on me, like it was just a minor issue if embarrassment. She absolutely disregarded the gravity of the situation and even victim blamed me by saying saying that if I had latched the door, they wouldn't have been able to come inside. The latches look different in every hotel, so I didn't realize there was a latch for this door because of the design. However, the problem still remains that complete strangers entered my room while I was sleeping. Lisa and the staff took for granted the fact that myself and my friend weren't harmed during the incident. My friend and I are fortunate that the strangers weren't thieves, murderers, rapists or racists looking to harm us. The hotel did absolutely nothing to protect us, nor did they show any empathy or remorse upon learning that they put our lives in danger. This incident has left me so disappointed because aside from that incident, I really did enjoy the hotel and staff member who checked us in. I understand that mistakes happen, but when the error is as serious as the one I experienced, management should not have to be asked FOUR TIMES (not even one time to be honest) to be apologetic and make a great effort to make amends to comfort the guests impacted. Lisa finally offered to refund our stay for that night, ONLY after our 4th conversation about the incident after which she made the victim blaming comment. Also, when I called the Hampton Inn 800 number to report our case the rep I spoke with also made a similar victim blaming comment about how it "for one wouldn't happen" to her because she always locks the additional lock on the door when she gets into the hotel room. Again, after traveling for days on limited sleep, my mind didn't think of this, however, strangers did NOT enter my room of their own malicious intent, but because the hotel staff made a huge error that potentially put my life at risk! There is no evidence in the Hampton Inn system nor my bank account about a pending refund, so it is not clear as to whether or not I've even been issued a refund at all. I look forward to to speaking to upper management about the incident further as the behavior and attitude of the Hampton Inn staff is unacceptable in a situation as serious as this. read more

BETTER options! No service elevator so trips via elevator take 15 minutes and you are stuffed in elevators with the maids (not their fault) but housekeeping supervisors could care less about the inconvenience. Many guests complaining saying "never again." Poorly managed hotel. read more

Stayed there last weekend for one night, staff is okay and the room was nice. I went to the lobby to use the pool and I was surprised to see that it was indoors, the deep end was only four feet deep, and it was at the most 10 feet long, there is no hot tub either. The next morning at breakfast, I witnessed a staff member put a bag of frozen home fries in a microwave before putting in the basket so people could have them. All the food was dry and tasteless, the smoothies were bland, the only things passable were the pancakes and the coffee. Not a enjoyable experience. read more

Nice modern hotel. Billing was a nightmare. Paid my bill in full, they went on to charge my card 2 extra times and refused to release the hold for 5 days. I was also told there was no management or authorized personnel for a week. How does a business operate without a manager or at least a back up supervisor? I called corporate no help on their end either she kept telling me it was pending and I kept having to remind her that I had paid my bill in full already why were they taking over $1000 extra from my account? I have been a loyal Hilton Honors member for nearly a decade and held diamond status for over three years. During this time I have never cancelled a stay but today I had a flight cancelled and needed to cancel my reservation. Given the amount of money I have spent with the Hilton brand I assumed they would work with me given the circumstance. Instead this property decided it would be worthwhile to charge me for half the price of the room. I will never stay at any Hilton properties again because loyalty is not valued. read more

Don't stay here unless you enjoy bad service and a dirty bathroom. I stayed here last week while I was in the area taking the Bar exam. Many of my friends recommended it was a solid place to stay and they had liked it. Wow...clearly they didn't deal with the same hotel and same staff I did. First, the bathroom in my room was gross upon check in and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I could not find anyone at the front desk more than once when I went downstairs to even ask for the shower to be cleaned again. I let it go and just made sure to wear flipflops in the shower. Fast forward to the last night of my stay. With the Nor'easter that was about to hit Boston I tried to check out early because Springfield was supposed to get hit pretty badly as was the city of Boston with wind and rain (snow in Springfield). The hotel told me because I was checking out at 7pm (for my own safety) they couldn't help me mitigate the cost. After sitting in exam for 8 hrs that day, there would have been no way for me to have even gotten back to the hotel much earlier to check out. In order not to get stuck I left anyway and figured I'd fix everything the next day. The next day I received my receipt which stated my total less the night I had checked out early. Well guess what, the hotel charged my credit card twice AND NOW THEY'RE DENYING IT!! I have been hung up on by more than one staff person and the general manager since they won't acknowledge the receipt is incorrect. Don't stay here. Clearly they don't value their guests and don't want repeat business. This place isn't worth your time, energy or hard earned money. Stay elsewhere. read more

Stayed here one night to go see bright nights in forest park. The location was great, easy on/off highway. Nice to have uno's attached to hotel on cold night as well. We found staff to be very friendly. Room was clean and heat worked great. Shower was clean and water pressure good. I would definitely stay here again. read more

I stay at a lot if Hilton properties enough so that I have Diamond status. This hotel is conveniently located across from the Basketball Hall of Fame and a short drive to Six Flags. The hotel staff was very friendly. Both rooms were very clean. Since we were on vacation the minifridge was useful. The rooms are either new or recently remodeled. Nice place to stay. read more
