    My Thunderbird after a rear-end collision.

    I own a 2002 Ford Thunderbird in the one-year Thunderbird Blue color. I have kept it in immaculate condition for the past 21 years. Then on Easter Sunday 2023, I was rear-ended by a pickup truck. My glorious Tbird took a major blow. The parts are rare and the paint color is too. One of the big chain body shops I went to told me they would not fix my car and to take it elsewhere. I then received a recommendation to take my vehicle to Auto Body of Vienna. Best recommendation. Ever. Suffice it to say Bruce and his team restored my Tbird to its original glory. Amazing work. They searched nationwide for a very difficult-to-find part. They did all the negotiating with my insurance company. And they even fixed a small issue with my right front-end (unrelated to the rear-end collision) at no charge!. I thought that was the icing on the cake. But wait, there's more. Shortly after picking up my Tbird, I noticed a very small chip on the edge of my trunk lid. Did the chip happen in the rear-end collision? At the body shop? Five years ago? I had no idea. In any case, I returned to Auto Body of Vienna and Michael saved the day with a small bottle of perfectly matching touch-up paint (again, at no charge!) In doing so, he took an amazing job to the next level. Bottom line - I have become an instant long-time customer of Auto Body of Vienna. I will go nowhere else.

I took my Black 2019 AMG GT 53 (Brabus 500 "Brabus Kit Style") into their…read moreshop for rear end damage to diffuser and bent exhaust, through an insurance claim that I was not at fault. *I will not account for the separate nightmare I went through insurances and lots and back and forth,* Therefore, this review is reference to the aftermath where funds were available for repairs to be initiated and my car is still in the shop. My vehicle has been sitting (outside in the sun and constant rain) since June 24th and still waiting on re-assembly until now (September 3rd, 2024). To mitigate boring you of ALL the details these are the items to consider when bringing your vehicle: ***Lack of communication via phone/email - I literally called everyday for a few weeks chasing down for an update and or status. Kudos to Kathy (Front Desk) for doing her best to keep me posted in the absence of a getting a call back from Todd Traxler (Service Rep) and/or Manager Ian. ***Lack of caring for high-end vehicles - My Black AMG GT 53 with Ceramic Pro has been sitting outside through high temperatures and rain for more than two months, to the point that carbon fiber parts had been affected. ***False expectations/time frame - Completion had been delayed two times already since June and have tried to excuse themselves by being understaffed and/or having busy schedules, being on vacation, or being sick. *** Price with service alignment - Given the high pricing in labor they charge, you would expect a top notch service; however, I did not see any of that. In conclusion, I have been without a vehicle for 3 months (since collision) and have been extremely patient with the process, but now I am deeply disappointed in how my vehicle has been handled by the shop. I do not have anything against Todd Traxler, as he maintained his professionalism throughout my frustration and "seems" to be doing everything in his power to help out. However, the lack of communication, lack of vehicle care and continued false expectations led me to leave this review, and believe that this is a common practice in this shop. Therefore, for your vehicle's sake, please be wary of taking your expensive vehicle here. I would also question why they have not been accredited by the BBB... Diego A.

I needed to get a tailliight, back bumper, and side panel fixed on my car. I had many concerns- being ripped off, having my car declared ""totaled" since it was older, the length of time to fix, etc. Daniel was referred to me by one of the companies I called that my insurance company recommended. He was extremely nice over the phone and very patient explaining all the options. I still felt nervous about leaving my car. My insecurity stemmed from the phone always going straight to voicemail. The first time he did return my call right away. I like communication and contact. Once my car was dropped off, communication improved and I learned e-mail was the best way to communicate- not phone or text. Daniel was able to get additional money to do the repair (every auto body shop said the insurance quote was low), not get it declared "totaled" and he fixed it in a timely manner. With the exception of the annoying phone always going to voicemail and then voicemail saying the mailbox is full, my experience was very positive and would be 5 star. Only docking a star over a weird incident with my remote key. He offered to change the battery. This turned out to be more expensive more of a freakish ordeal than I thought. And it somehow resulted in the steering wheel being locked and me losing another day getting my car. So I had to make 2 trips to get it. In summary- fabulous body work, honest guy who will work with you, and the work was top notch...but take your key to the dealer to change the battery.
