Excellent experience at TNT Tint - highly recommend going out of your way to bring your business to owner/operator Matt. The communication, value, and end-product were all top notch. I worked with Matt via yelp project management messaging to get a quote and schedule. I had to change schedule at least twice, and Matt was really understanding and accommodating. When I was finally able to make it out to the shop, he was on perfect schedule finishing up the previous job. This sort of forecasting and punctuality is rare in any business but Matt obviously has it down to a science. Tint quality is excellent. I waited a week to write this review just to wait and see how the tint dried. My car is not brand new so it had some potentially problematic debris buildup and oxidation on the window seals, but Matt put extra time and elbow grease into it to set me up for the best tint application possible. The end product is impeccable. I have not found any bubbles or imperfections. Would not recommend this place for window tinting. Needed the front two windows tinted to match darker tint of rear windows. I called Matt and he said could do it but were not supposed to tint them that dark but that he would do it. I told him willing to take the risk and he said I would need to pay him cash. Took the car to him and he does not have his own shop but does the tinting inside a high-end sports car customization shop. It is not well lit inside and when he was finished I paid him but he refused to give me a receipt or a written warranty. It was dark outside when he finished and I could not see the darkness of the tinting until the next day. The next day I looked at the job and was very dissatisfied with the tinting as it was not dark at all. In fact I really couldn't tell much difference in the darkness of the tinting compared to before he applied the tint. The windows had a light factory tint that is embedded in the glass and it looked only a little bit darker than the factory tint. I called Matt to complain and all he said was I should have checked the tint before I paid him and he would not do anything now because since I paid him in cash, it was an "as-is" purchase. He never told me about this "as-is" policy before I had the windows tinted. Now he was being very rude, not the Mr. nice guy I dealt with before he did the tinting. Felt he had tricked me and got me to pay him in cash with no receipt so that he wouldn't have to pay taxes on the income. If you do have your windows tinted here (which I would advise against) look at the tinting outside in the daylight before you pay him. He will try to collect the money before you take your car outside. I don't do many online reviews, but Matt is absolutely deserving of this one. I brought him an old Lincoln I got from my parents that had peeled off tint on two windows and the back window so bubbly you could not clearly see out if it. Other places I called wouldn't even mess with it. Matt did not bat an eye at the challenge and made it look amazing. The peeled off tint was only partially peeled - there was still another layer of adhesive. And I still have no idea how he got the back window tint off without messing up the defroster. But man this thing looks great now. I was so impressed that I brought him another car to drop off while I was picking this one up. My Kia had a super bubbly back window that again Matt removed and added new tint to make look amazing. The difference in appearance and visibility is incredible. If you're considering bringing him a car to tint, stop thinking about it and just do it. On top of that, he seems like a good dude I wouldn't mind having a beer with. read more
