I bought a new Tesla Model 3 in December and started to do more research on tint options since it has been a while since I've had a vehicle tinted. I learned more about modern ceramic tint vs what we used to use back in the day. After reaching out to several companies in the Sterling/Ashburn area, I found Sunshine Control and requested a quote. Erlinda provided me a few options to go with standard ceramic tint or the 3M Crystalline tint. I waited several months to make my decision as I wanted to get closer to the spring/summer season before needing the tint. After deciding on 3M 70% crystalline, it was decided that I would have to come in on two different days to get my car tinted due to their crammed schedule. However, on the first day of installation, they decided to stay late into the evening to finish my install. They even gave me a discount for no apparent reason! The tint job itself was pretty good, and they covered 100% of the transparent glass. My only minor complaint is that they were pretty messy when it came to cutting the tint over the black coated areas of the glass. However, this is not readily noticeable unless you look for it.
