TintFX came highly recommended by two of my friends, so i felt it was only right to come here. I've seen the tinted windows in my friend's cars, so I trusted them. I originally started by requesting quotes for a tint job via Yelp projects and Erik responded right away with a detailed explantion of the available tint options, benefits and prices of each. After a bit of research on the different 3m tint options, I decided to stick with Ceramic IR. I called and was able to make an appointment immediately...this was all within a week (roughly), so it was a seamless process. Once I arrived at the location, I found it right away ( yeah, I used Google Maps.. but someone had also posted a picture of the outside). As soon as I walked in, Erik knew I was the 2pm appointment and they started right away once we finalized what I wanted. These folks are awesome. They did an F150 for me several years back and did a great job, so I came back with the Tesla. In addition to a tint all the way around, they were able to do a chrome delete on the window trim, mirrors, and even the Tesla logo. Totally changed the look of the car for the better! The owners's brother looked at my windows. He said there was tint deterioration and I made a future appointment. When I came back at the appointment time the owner disagreed with the assessment and said that nothing needed to be done .While I was talking to him, the owner got a phone call and he walked away in mid-sentence. He raised his voice in response and started yelling at me in front of another customer. He was aggressive, displayed extremely discourteous customer service and did not honor the work that the employee said was due to tint deterioration. have never had such poor customer service and would not recommend this business. read more

Great service and high quality work. Dropped off my wife's SUV a few months ago and just hung out at the shop while it was getting tinted. Erik explained to me (and every other customer that came in that day while I was there) the different tint options, what the percentages mean, and gave suggestions. When they were done tinting my wife's SUV, they put a sticker on the window switch to remind people not to roll down the window for a few days and also handed me a document that shows the warranty of the tint (lifetime I think) and even mentioned that I could go anywhere to get the warranty serviced as long as they do the 3M ceramic tint. I wish I had taken my SUV here as well to get it ceramic tinted. Too late as it is already tinted by someone else. read more

Ashley was able to fit me in about two hours later with ease and I made an appointment for the two days later to get it retinted without the brake light covered. With everything going on, i just needed to get to the DMV asap after moving. I called the next day to reschedule getting retinted to the following week and Ashley was just getting ready to call me to make sure I got everything handled at the DMV, which was above and beyond. When I came in the next week, Erik got me in and out as soon as his team got there and we laughed and talked the whole time. Might not look like much on the outside, but this place is legit on the inside. I've had two cars tinted here. One at their old Fairfax location several years ago and one at their new location a few weeks ago. The car I had done at their old location was to redo the tints that were poorly done from another tinting company and coming apart on my front windows. That redo is still intact to this day. The tints I just had done on a newer car were done great. I like how they take appointments by the hour and are pretty on schedule when you come in.
