I can't speak highly enough about Chapin Auto Glass. Dany, the Service Manager, is the consummate professional and was so pleasant to work with. He carefully explained the process to me and outlined all my options, and kept me informed of the progress of my windshield replacement on the day it was completed (June 3rd, 2026). And their pricing is very fair especially for the excellent service they provide. I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to anyone who needs auto glass repair services. read more

The Business Manger (Danny) freaked out since I didn't agree with them on issues they had. See response below. Do you really want service from anyone who reacts this way if an issue occurs on a job they haven't even been selected for? The response speaks for itself. Look at the other one star reviews, you'll find this isn't a one off. read more

Good communication, but technician damaged the tint on the windshield and the owner was hesitant to accept responsibility for it. Also, the rear-view mirror trim was not installed properly, I'm waiting on them to schedule a day to come fix it. This was by far the most expensive quote I got to replace my windshield, and so far it has not reflected in the quality of the work done. UPDATE: see attached screenshots, the owner texted me after initially publishing the review. You can be the judge as to what kind of business this is. UPDATE 2: after reviewing the work done now that it has been 3 days after the install, you can see that the quality of the work is sloppy. There is leftover glue all over the edge of the roof. read more

On Wednesday, I called Chapin-Dany to get a replacement windshield for my Jeep Cherokee. Dany got back to me within 24 hours with my options and a quote. I was very pleased with the pricing and scheduled the service for today, Saturday morning. The installer arrived on time and got the job done efficiently. This is my third time using Chapin, and I have never been disappointed with their service. I highly recommend Chapin! read more

Chapin Auto Glass - Windshield replacement! - Auto Glass Services Near Me

Best service! Handled everything online, flexible scheduling, professional installation, easy payment after the work was completed. I left my car and key for them, came home from work and it was finished. No distorted glass, it appears to be OEM or high quality aftermarket. The price was also cheaper than expected, especially for the mobile service. Worth every penny, can't recommend them more. One small note, my windshield wiper cowling rubber trim was brittle. It absolutely isn't their responsibility to fix this. But, the installation required them to remove this cowling and the rubber crumbled. In hindsight, I should have bought a new cowling trim and left it inside for the installer. Make sure to check any trim/panels near the windshield and order new ones beforehand. read more

Great service and communication. Worked within my schedule and arrived as planned. Work was fast and professional. I couldn't tell the difference from the original installation. Thank you for a good experience. If I need glass work again, will definitely give them a call. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing service! The entire rear window on my crossover SUV shattered after I backed into a stupidly low pole in a parking garage *side eye* I looked up auto glass repair on Yelp and contacted Chapin Auto first bc I saw how many glowing reviews they had. My first contact was around 3 PM on a Sunday, my appt was confirmed within 2-3 hours of my first contact, and mobile service technicians were at my house by 3 PM on Monday. The technicians replaced the rear window, disposed of the shattered one, and cleaned up all the glass within 30 mins. As soon as the service was completed, the owner contacted me to provide info about aftercare and the warranty, and promptly sent a secure payment link. The fact that my service was booked and completed within 24 hours with zero hiccups is amazing! Excellent customer service! read more

I was very impressed by Chapin Auto Glass' professionalism. When I solicited bids to repair a car door window, Dany responded immediately with a message containing all the information I needed. After ascertaining the type of glass we needed, he sent a mobile technician to my home the same day to replace the window smashed by thieves. The technician completed the task within an hour and vacuumed up all the glass. Communication was easy and the price aligned with the other estimates. If you ever need a window repaired or replaced, I'd highly recommend Chapin Auto Glass. read more

Contacted on a weekend when they were closed and they still took the time to respond to me. Asked if they could get it done as early as possible and they were able to secure an excellent replacement windshield at a fair price by the following morning. Dany the manager was extremely customer focused and communicative, and his tech Antonio was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient--had me done before lunch. If I have another windshield issue, will absolutely use them again! read more

In December 2024, some vandals broke into my year 2000 Grand Caravan that was parked in my driveway. They broke in overnight by popping the rear passenger quarter panel window off its closure, leaving it flapping in the breeze. They crawled into the van through the window, searched around, tossed everything around and left through the very same window. I found the damage the next morning. This was during a terribly cold time. I had difficulty covering the window with plastic and taping it down - the duct tape was not made for this kind of cold weather. I finally managed to get the window covered and reported the damage to my insurance company. Because it was a glass repair, I was immediately transferred to the company that oversees the glass repairs for (probably) all insurance companies. This company was not a pleasure to work with and after several fruitless interactions, I was ready to be done with them. They were unable to locate the proper glass for the repair; the management was rude and difficult and so I finally contacted my insurance company's adjuster on my case and explained what had happened. I was assured that I did not have to use this company. He also told me that the claim would remain open until the glass was properly replaced. I researched local auto glass repair companies and fortunately for me was able to locate a local auto glass company - Chapin Auto Glass. Dany of Chapin Auto Glass was wonderful, efficient, knowledgeable, engaged and supportive. It took many months, a lot of trial and error but Dany finally managed what the other company could not and he did it with a pleasant and helpful attitude. In October of this year (2025) he finally found a complete window set up from a similar van in an auto junkyard. The fit was perfect and the job completed by a highly skilled technician, in my own driveway. The price was right as well and Dany made sure to provide a proper invoice that I could send to my adjuster for reimbursement (minus my deductible of course). Hopefully, I will never have another glass issue with any vehicle I own, but, if I do, there is only one company I will contact, Chapin Auto Glass. I have alerted my adjuster and insurance company and provided them all the contact information for Chapin Auto Glass and asked that they keep the company information on file so they can recommend this company to others in my area that have need of a reliable, dedicated and efficient auto glass replacement company. Thank you, Dany and Chapin Auto Glass! read more

I recently had my windshield replaced by Chapin. I am very pleased with the service. From the moment I reached out Dany was very responsive, he clearly explained the options and his professional recommendation, the price seemed fair, and they would be able to scheduled me quickly. The initial interaction was so pleasant and it didn't feel like he was trying to unnecessarily upsell or just tell me what I wanted to hear so I didn't bother calling around for other options. I am glad I trusted my gut, the service was spectacular and I have a new windshield. Their current yelp 4.9 star rating is definitely reflective of the experience of working with them. I wouldn't hesitate to use Chapin again for future windshield repair or replacement needs! read more

The posted reviews of a 4.9 satisfaction is what drew me to this business and it's quite obvious after dealing with Danny the dispatch guy why the reviews are so high. Customer service, transparency, and bang for the buck is all you can really ask for out of any business And this is just that business. I needed a windshield replaced because I had a little chip in my windshield, and when I blasted the defroster on it the other morning it finished the windshield off. I got quotes for OEM parts and aftermarket, which was a huge difference, but the same warranty, which is pretty rock solid. I had the installer come by my house this afternoon with advanced warning when he was coming and I don't even think it took him 30 minutes to have the old windshield pulled, and the new one installed. I got detailed instructions on how to deal with the installation of do's and don'ts and a really righteous deal for something that could've been easily double or more from the dealership. I will definitely tell friends and colleagues about this place. read more

I contacted Chapin Auto Glass through Yelp, and they responded quickly. I had about four days when my car would be sitting at home, and I hoped I could get the new windshield on one of those days. Without advanced notice, they were able to accommodate my schedule; they came to my house and replaced the front windshield while the car sat in my driveway. It was quick and efficient, and all the features of my Highlander still work great. Dany and the technician were both friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with. From the time I called to the moment my car was fixed, the service was great! They fit me in same day and came to me. My car was broken into the night before so I really wanted someone to take care of it as soon as I could. They showed up within 3 hours if that and fixed my window in like 30minutes. They also vacuumed most of the glass that was visible so it looked much better. Still needs detailing but that's not their job. My experience with Chapin was great. I was visiting their website to see about getting a quote when I got one of those chat pop-ups asking if I needed help. I assumed it was a chatbot but responded anyway, and was pleasantly surprised to find it was an actual person--a manager, Dany. I was able to get a quote, ask all my questions, and schedule the service using the chat feature. The quote was about the same as Safelite and beat out several other companies I contacted. They came out within two days and completed a windshield replacement within 30 minutes. Dany was communicative throughout the process, checking in with me to make sure the technician arrived when scheduled and providing me with all the aftercare information. Other shops said nothing was available. I scheduled the replacement and the guys showed up on time, did a great job and the whole thing was priced right.
