My insurance company requires a deductible of $500. I decided to shop around the area first to see if I could find something cheaper. I reached out on yelp and spoke with Abdul. He was wonderful. Straightforward, quick and considerate. He literally squeezed in an appointment with me in less than 24 hours. I ended up paying $350 cash which is such a steal. He showed up on time the next day and replaced it within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend Zips Auto for anyone.

TOTAL RIP-OFF! I was rear-ended while waiting at the…read morestoplight with my tesla model y. The only damage was on a small portion of the liftgate. They took over three weeks for the repair. We asked for a shorter time since it was my daughter's spring break. At first they said it was ok but then they changed their mind. They insisted on a minimum of three weeks. I think that they run a racket on the tesla loaners and charge the insurance with luxury rentals. Their main focus was to secure as much money they could procure for themselves ignoring all the requests of the customers. In total they took around $12,000 for a repair of less than $2000 for an average paint shop. (they tell everyone a minimum of three weeks!)

They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

They got nearly all of the broken glass cleaned up, which was really nice. The location was a bit wonky with my GPS. I ended up here because my insurance, Geico, works with them. Felt good about that. So grateful they made my appt with Car Source Collision. Although, the damage didn't seem significant at first, it added up after everything was completed but that would have been the case at any other shop. After leaving my truck for repairs, the rental car company provided pick up from the shop. Matt was pretty awesome throughout the entire process; nice, professional while explaining the process, providing estimated repair time, etc. The mechanics did a great job, my truck looked exactly like it did before the accident. When I arrived to this place, I was quickly impressed by the customer services, assurance that they would take great care of my car. Unfortunately, 4 months afterward, I noticed my tire kept squeaking when I would take specific turns. Since I figured I would go back to the place that last repaired my vehicle, I informed them about my concern and asked if they could check my car over the weekend or after hours - as my job doesn't allow much flexibility during regular business hours. This time, I was brushed off by them and told that they are unavailable after hours... After going to other places to get some help on the root of the issue, it turns out, the break replaced by Car Source Collision wasn't the right measurement - so now, I have a squeaky break pad.. I referred this place to others, but I no longer wish to do business with this place. They thought that I wouldn't notice or that it wouldn't be a big issue... well, thanks.
