Superb glass replacement company. Convenient location in Columbia, great price, excellent work. I had the windshield on my Tesla replaced at a fraction of the cost Tesla quoted (literally less than 1/3 the price!). The glass used isn't the exact same as the original Tesla, but it's high quality, the finish is perfect, and it took less than 2 hours (I did have to wait until the glass arrived before the work could start). I came here to get my windshield replaced because it had a large crack in it. I was told this would take around 2 hours. When I arrived for my appointment, I also asked about the time and cost for window tint removal. I was told it would take an additional hour, so I opted to just get the tint removal done on another day. When it was time to pay and see the work done on my car, to my surprise, they managed to replace my windshield and remove my window tint within the original 2 hours! They were very friendly, and I was happy they could provide both services without me needing to take a second trip despite me only booking one of the services when I made an appointment. This is my third windshield from this place. Very nice and clean work area, great customer service, and of course, excellent work. This is the type of place that should be a star rated repair facility listed by USAA and other auto insurance companies, but that is all a sham as we all know. USAA contracted out their windshield repair claims to Safelite, the worst company to trust with your car. It's like claiming McDonald's is a healthy food choice. Anyway, I highly recoend that you don't opt for whatever place your insurance company routs you towards (USAA automatically assumes you will take Safelite) and then you start getting emails reminding you to take your vehicle to a "reputable" place etc. Precision Auto Glass is a full service windshield repair and replacement shop and they will calibrate your camera and safety equipment associated with the windshield as well. After 2 months of going back and forth with safelite with 2 missed appointments and not a single return phone call. I called precision to get my glass repaired. In 2 days my car was repaired. Highly recommended fast and prompt. Before going with Safelite try to call and reach the local store. It is impossible. All Safelite local numbers are routed to the national office which gives canned answers. They will confirm the part is in stock and the appointment regardless of the status. I would call in the morning to confirm an afternoon appointment and they would fail to show up After weeks of frustration I decided to go with Precision and my car was fixed fast just in time for the holidays. read more

A rock hit by car leaving a large crack on the front windshield. I Yelp messaged for a quote and they got back to me extremely quickly and with an amazing price. Other places were charging $200 more! I went in and waited for my glass to be changed. There was a small hiccup with a crack being in the replacement but they were very quick going to the warehouse to get a new one. They sent my wife all over Maryland to try and replace a windshield which their technician who came out first said no can do, there could be body damage due to last windshield replacement. Very open schedule (I came in the day after I called but could have come in the same day!), friendly and courteous service, amazing pricing (a well-known competitor wanted to charge me double what I paid here............... haha ok), and the job itself was very well done. It's like my car was never even broken into! Obviously, I don't plan to come back any time soon, but I highly recommend this place for your glass repair needs. Quote was very reasonable and they were extremely flexible with timing. I called in the morning and was only free between 2pm and 5pm and they fit me in right at 3:30pm. I was done an hour later, and it would have been sooner if I didn't have broken glass on every surface of my interior. They were easy to talk to on the phone and extremely friendly once I arrived. They got nearly all of the broken glass cleaned up, which was really nice. The location was a bit wonky with my GPS. It's tucked behind a building in the back of the complex, so make sure to take a look at where it is on Google Maps before you head out. Apple Maps stops you in the middle of the road, nowhere near the garage. Highly recommended. read more

My wife's 12 year old Mercedes had the windshield damaged ona Weds. She was supposed to drive to the beach on Sunday. Our insurance recommended Safelite, but they had no appointments until the following week. I tried a 24 hour service and left a voice mail but they never called back. On Thursday, I tried the Mercedes dealer but thay checked all local dealerships and said none had the glass in stock and it would take 10-21 days to order. Thren I callexd Precision Auto Glass in Columbia. Dave, the owner, answered and said they had the glass in stock and gave us an appointment the same day. 2 hours later, her car was finished. He went the extra mile wait on hold for over 30 minutes to get to get approval for 2 moldings that were also damaged. Customer service is important to me and he far exceeded my expectations. In addition, I was able to observe how well he treats his employees. One employee was tired wanted to go home at 5 PM and there was one more job to do but Dave let him go and said he would take care of it himself. Outstanding! read more

Just got finished having a windshield chip repaired. The owner told me before hand it's 50/50 it can be repaired because the crack is a bit big and won't look as clean as he wants it to be. He did the best he could with repairing it and it looks 90% clean. I'd take that anytime for $60 before replacing the entire windshield. read more

He was able to schedule an appointment the same day, and sent a text to clarify the address. The shop is on the back of the building, so I'm glad I knew where to look. Service was quick. I was done in about half an hour! While I was there, Dave even zip tied down a loose piece of plastic on the other side of my car for free!
