I had some ceramic wrap and tinting done on my Lexus and it made my 6 year old car look brand new and awesome. William and his team did an amazing job last year and it still looks brand new. I had a blemish when someone hit the corner of my car and Apex stands behind their work and gets it done. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your expertise and hospitality! read more

I had a great experience here. I am 54 years old. I've been dealing with aftermarket car shops since 1988. I know a shady shop as soon as we start talking. This is far from that. I dealt with William the owner as soon as I walked through the door. He was as polite and professional as you can be. He never tried to upsell me. He explained all my options for Tinting and even gave my wife and I demonstration to show how the Xpel XR-Plus works and what sets it apart from the other Options. There is a true difference in the films being offered. Be mindful that you get what you pay for. I chose the Top Tier film for our car. I also chose to have them hand wash and wax the car. That was the best part. We thought we were doing a decent job keeping the paint looking good until we saw the final product. I am totally satisfied and impressed with their work. Look, if you think a business can tint your entire car for $250 don't go here. Go to Autozone, by the film and then drive to the ghetto to the Liquor store and ask the cashier which one of his "regulars" works on cars. If you want a qualified professional who has decades of experience and employees to help do it RIGHT then go here. The Tint has a Lifetime Warranty so you can buy with confidence. I hope this helps. read more

I reached out for a basic window tint quote, which is standard consumer behavior in any competitive market economy where people compare prices and services. Instead of providing a quote or simply explaining their pricing and product tiers, I was met with a dismissive and rude response implying that asking to compare options means I'm only looking for the "cheapest" work and that their shop isn't for me. That's not how legitimate markets work--transparency and competition are normal. The follow-up reinforced a "call us and don't shop around" approach rather than just answering a straightforward request. The tone and refusal to engage normally in pricing feels evasive and, frankly, shady for a service business in this space. I chose not to proceed based on the interaction and strongly urge you to go elsewhere too. read more

Did a great job explaining what was going to be done, and was easy to speak with. Work completed in a timely manner and done well.

Would highly recommend this spot. Very knowledgeable and informative about each of the packages they offer. Very fast installation, said it would take 2 hours and got me out in one hour. I asked for ceramic tints Xpel Prime 45% front windshield and 20% all around and they delivered. Would go again if I need another car done. read more

Really awesome experience all the way around from my initial phone call through the whole process it was a outstanding customer experience. Its a real challenge today to find a company that sincerely offers customer service top tp bottom, these guys do just that. I drove all the way from Baltimore to Apex to get my new truck tinted I made that decision after I hang up the phone with William the owner I knew I had finally found a place that not only appreciated my business had the experience and also offered the top of the line product and quality work I was looking for. I went in on a Saturday and the guy behind the counter was freaking awesome (so sorry I can't remember his name) was handling the Saturday morning rush perfectly greeting everyone with a smile it was nice to see I waited my turn got all my questions answered and away he went to the back to do the job as well, this guy was a rock star I'm telling ya lol. The job was perfect the tint is freaking outstanding and I'm 100% grateful! Thanks Apex, William and the gentleman that was manning the store that morning I'll be back with my next vehicle I'm trying to convince myself to get the Ceramic Coating coating I know it'll be worth it but just can't fit it in the budget right now - read more

I requested a quote through Yelp. I wasn't expecting a response as it was after 11pm. William responded within 10 mins and I booked an appointment for the following AM. When I arrived, William promptly pulled my vehicle in the bay and explained the services. He was professional, prompt and courteous. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The process to tint 5 of my windows took about 55 minutes. My vehicle was returned as I gave it to them. They did not leave a mess in my truck. William explained post instructions and gave me a receipt with a lifetime warranty on the tint job. The tint was clear and very well done. William will be my go to spot for tint. It was a great experience from start to finish! William has a well run business. read more

I Sent requests for quotes for ceramic window tinting . I got almost immediate response from William at Apex. His response was accurate detailed and complete. He answered follow up questions as well. Based on this I called his shop next day and made an appointment. William was even better in person than email. He carefully answered my questions and I made the decision to have the work done. It was done in the time frame promised and looks excellent. Actual install was done by Jimmie I think. Lifetime warranty as well. read more

It's been a little bit over a month since I had ceramic window tint installed from Apex Auto Performance. I can tell my car had better insulation after installed the 3M ceramic tint as it kept my car very warm even if I returned to my car after shopping in a short period of time. I can't wait for summer to come to test how well it will block the heat and UV out! William is very knowledgeable on different types of tint he offers. He explained very well in details on performance and pricing. He is also responsive to answer all my questions and concerns before and after the service. The result turned out great and I was offered lifetime warranty on both labor and material for the 3M ceramic tint. Highly recommend! read more

I don't normally leave reviews but felt I needed to after the great communication and quality of work. I emailed for a quote on a Monday, fully expecting a little while for a reply. I immediately got a response and was able to be schedule for the upcoming Wednesday (2 days!!). I arrived at my allotted time and was immediately greeted and walked through a couple different options. Once all the papers were signed, was told about 2.5 hours time. No biggie. Showed back up about 2.5 hours later and my car was being finished up. Overall, the communication and quality of work is outstanding. Would recommend. read more

Great and speedy service. My husband and I had our windows tinted in under 2hrs .he was super responsive when I needed a quote

The owner, entire staff ( I met two family members during my time there) were fantastic. The professionalism of the entire business surpasses a 5- Star Plus experience. My first initial auto tint place -was much less than $300 for all 5 windows and Apex was a referral from another person. Initial place ghosted me 60 miles from home...so I called up same day and got in on a Saturday, thanks to the owner. I couldn't agree more with the other rave reviews of William and his team of pros. Thanks Apex! I'll tell everyone about the fantastic experience and quality job you all performed. William and the team at Apex Auto Performance are hands down incredible. I first took my vehicle to Apex Summer 2019 to do a tint removal and then put a new tint on. William was very accommodating, provided quotes for the job, and was able to fit me in the following day. The tint came out perfectly and based on the service I received, I knew I'd take any future cars of mine back to Apex. Fast forward to 2020, I took my Shelby back to Apex to get a Ceramic Window Tint from the team. Once again, William was able work with my schedule for my appointment, and while at the shop we discussed additional protections, such as detailing, paint correction, PPF, ceramic and even vinyl wrapping. Each option was explained in depth, including their pros/cons and why I would want these services (William definitely knows his stuff!). I've since gone back to regularly get my car detailed (which always comes out looking as beautiful as the day I picked it up), and most recently had PPF applied the full front end and doors (another service done flawlessly). Apex Auto Performance is the ONLY shop I'll take any car of mine and I'd highly recommend them if you want the best as well! read more

All I can say is WOW! I bought the AMG C 63 several months ago. The paint was in pretty bad shape from the previous owner using car washes and had plenty of swirls and scratches. I purchased the car for the engine and said I can live with the paint. I met William when I stopped by for a price on window tinting, which he also did a great job with, and started talking paint correction. I left the car in his hands and he performed a deep correction with a ceramic coating applied after. The car looks like it just came off the MB line. Thank you, William, for caring about your trade! I highly recommend Apex for your window tinting needs! William was fantastic, knowledgeable and kind.

I recommend this business to anyone who wants a professional job done on tinting their car. My husband made the appointment and brought my car in. It took about 1 hour to complete. It looks amazing!!! Ray the installer was very informative and professional. He educated me in the difference between that really dark tint(which is like paint and is really only their for aesthetics). What they do is called ceramic tint. They have a really cool presentation that shows the differences between the average and the ceramic tint that they install works......to keep the heat out of the car and also give your car a really good look. My car is black so I also wanted a nice sleek look . It is what I got!!! Ray and William are really patient and professional. They were very specific with instructions when I left and told me not to put the window down for 2 days. Well guess what I did a couple of hours later trying to get a quick lunch....put the windows down. I freaked out the window appeared to streak up. I thought I ruined the job and would have to pay again. I immediately went back to the shop and met with Ray and William. I told them what happened and they assured me that it was ok and explained why i need to let the window stay up for two day. Ray fixed the issue and sent me on my way with something special to insure I remember to keep the windows up. I truly appreciate the time patience and care that I received at Apex Auto performance. It was a great experience. They are true professionals and true gentlemen. I would recommend them to anyone and I will be back to do detailing as well.....Stacy and Harold ...satisfied customers! read more

Pretty decent window tinting. Left some tint brand logos and bubbles, but it was overall fine and did the job. Best window tints in my car I've ever had! Apex Auto has a great selection and better customer service in regards to their auto-tint installation(I haven't tried their detailing... YET).
