I depend on yelp reviews to select businesses of all types. I rarely leave reviews though! But this is the place to go. Wally is the best! Hard for me to trust and a worrier but I felt immediately confident and in good hands. Do not hesitate to use this business! Results were perfect. read more

I had accidentally tapped a pillar with my car door and it wouldn't close quite right although had no obvious damage to any component. I saw the great reviews here, so brought it in to see what could be done because it seemed obvious that something was just misaligned. Tech came out to inspect my car and was telling me I definitely needed new hinges! I might need a new door! This is going to run a lot of money! That they weren't going to try to investigate a misalignment because they wanted to do things "the right way!" Sure buddy. I thanked him, left and went to the body shop just down the street. Where a tech took a look at the door, determined that the A-pillar on the car door hinge had just gotten bumped out of place, bumped it back into place which fixed the problem, and within 15 seconds sent me on my way. Didn't even charge me because it was such a minor "repair" if you can even call it that. Royal might be good at what they do, I don't know. But they tried to upsell me on a repair that was thousands of dollars for something that wasn't even broken and was a component easily pushed right back into place. So definitely get a second opinion if you go here. read more

Very friendly and professional staff. Accurate estimates and they stick to them. The quality level of their work is very high and paint finish and match is perfect. If you are looking for the best auto body repair shop in our area...look no further. I retired from the automotive industry after over 40 years and I highly recommend them. read more

This place has no peers. I had a fender bender with my 840 bmw. Gary walked me through the whole process step by step. He fought my insurance company at every step. The car came out looking better then when i bought it new. This is the only place to go! read more

Mercedes SLK 250 sideswiped by a tractor trailer. Royal autobody provided a quick estimate (next day) and worked with both the insurance company and rental car company for a good coordination of services. Wally, at Royal Autobody, took time to answer questions and kept us updated throughout the repair. Pricing was fair, based on a 2014 model, but with only 42,000 miles. End product looks like it never happened! Good people and service!!! read more

Another great job by Gary and his team at Royal Auto Body. The vehicle came out better than expected. In the past they have done some large jobs, and once again I'm very impressed. They did some polishing buffing a detail. I trust them with my German cars and so should you ! read more

Great service all around! Both Gary and Wally kept me informed through the process and the folks did a fantastic job with my Mazda CX-5, which was dented on the side door and back bumper. My car now looks even better than before! Special THANKS to Wally for also going above and beyond for some follow up service with my tail light that he was kind enough to also do after the fact. 5 stars!! read more

I called Royal Auto Body shop fifteen minutes before they closed because I had just gotten out of work and noticed my splash shield was dragging on the pavement underneath my car. I had an hour and a half drive home and didn't want to leave it dangling, so I found the closest auto shop and Anthony said to bring it on over. I arrived only five minutes before they closed and he worked on it for maybe ten minutes and fixed it up. AND HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME! He was so kind and efficient- if I lived closer I would 100% make them my regular auto mechanic!! read more

My 2020 750i was significantly damaged in the front when I avoided hitting a deer in December. Gary at RAB did everything to get the parts as fast as he could and did. In the end, the car looks beautiful as it never happened. Color matched perfectly! I recommend Royal Auto Body to anyone! read more

Came into Royal Autobody and spoke with Gary about doing custom bodywork (1M conversion) and paint on my BMW 135i. Gary did an amazing job with the whole conversion. Body work and paint looked like it was straight from the factory! Not a lot of shops in the NOVA area would take such work, but Gary knows his stuff and is very experienced. Great bodyshop, friendly owner and staff, and very reasonable price. Royal Auto body is definitely my Go-To shop for all future bodywork. read more

Royal Auto Body is my go to body shop. I was involved in a small accident where someone hit my rear bumper causing minor damage. I tried several other body shops but couldn't get an estimate for weeks. Drove over to Royal and Gary did an estimate on the spot. Although there was a problem getting the parts they worked with the insurance company to solve the problem. I picked the car up and everything looked great. read more

It's not easy to find an honest mechanic in this are, but I always feel like Royal takes such great care of my car!

Amazing quality! Excellent value! Outstanding customer experience! Gary is a masterful artisan -- he is meticulous, careful, and the quality of his work rises to the level of being art. It's uncanny, but Gary restored our car back to its original showroom brilliance. Welby is simply phenomenal at customer engagement -- he went above and beyond working and advocating directly with our insurance company on our behalf to make the whole process easy. The entire Royal Auto Body team has a great vibe and collaborate well together to deliver good outcomes and an incredible customer experience. In my humble opinion, this is text book example of how an excellent business operates -- they deliver more value than what they actually charge. We drove away from their business delighted!! read more

Took my Prius here after getting rear ended. Service was great, car looks new again. They handled the details with my insurance and all was easy on my end. They also cleaned the exterior of the car. A+ read more

I will say they did an overall effective job of repairing my car, pulled out dent effectively, preserved good panel gaps and matched factory orange peel pattern however it came at the expense of some flaws and lack of attention. Had a quarter panel repaired on a BMW, unfortunately there was paint overspray on the wheel liners and bolts as well as splotchy paint under the rear of the bumper cover (this is a issue as there is no clear coat and some bubbling which will eventually come undone). Unfortunately the prep work wasn't done properly on the bumper cover. Im not sure if my car was a rush job or just how they do business which the typical consumer doesn't have the eye for but I personally wouldn't go back. There are lots of good reviews for this place but mostly by people whom are unaware of quality body work. For the average consumer, this is a good place to go, but if you are a car guy and own a high end car, go to DV masters. read more

I went to do an M Sport front and rear bumper conversion and I am pleased to say that it came out very well. Gary was very professional and approachable while being very knowledgeable. His Paint matching was superb. His crew were very good at lining up my fenders so that there were no gaps. I will definitely be back in the future. read more

There was a terrible blizzard in the DMV area on Monday and I was able to make it home from work in one piece but unfortunately my car didn't. In my quest to trek up the hilly streets of DC, my front left wheel fender liner broke in half and my engine cover became loose under my car. I was worried about fixing it but I called Royal Auto Body the next day and Gary assured me he could take a look at it the same day. He confirmed the broken fender liner and told me I would have to get the whole fender liner replaced because it was cracked in half. I prepaid for the part and got a call back 2 days later from Welby, who told me I could come in and get the work performed the same day. Fast forward to less than an hour later, and my car is fixed again and ready for my hourlong commutes to DC. Huge thanks to Gary and Welby for their responsiveness, friendliness, workmanship, and honesty. Will definitely bring my car here again if I ever need body work and will recommend Royal Auto Body to my friends. Thanks again! read more

On two separate occasions, two of my cars were subject to hit and run while parked. On car was hit on the front bumper and the other on the back bumper. Through Yelp, I searched for the auto body shop with the 4 star ratings and settled on Royal Auto Body. Gary took me in, gave me information on the process that we were all going to go through with the insurance company. He explained the initial assessment and supplemental process. All said and done, his work is high quality and is very reasonable and easy to contact for any questions. This is my go-to shop for auto body repairs. read more

Last minute, 5pm, I called to see if they could install a carbon fiber full front lip to my bmw 335i expecting to set an appointment. My 2009 Toyota got damage in the front bumper, I searched google for auto body shops near me and I found Royal body shop, Gary (Ali) did an excellent job to repair the bumper with a very low price, he even fixed the scratches of my head light with no cost (some shops refused to fix it, they wanted to replace it ). I was so surprised when I went to pick up my car, the whole car shining like a brand new car just came out from a car dealer, the dented bumper was gone and the paint was so match, I couldn't even tell it was damaged before and the headlights were becoming new again. I highly recommended Royal auto body shop to anyone who needs an auto body repair, this is the place. read more

Took my Ford Fusion in for a dent repair . Looks amazing now. Really glad I found this place. Gary was great.

I've had an enormous number of bad experiences with auto body places in the northern Virginia area over the years which is why it was such a pleasure to finally find one I can trust. Royal Auto Body does good work, is fast, feels honest, and their prices are in-line with other estimates from the area. They even unexpectedly saved me $100 on my recent job by fixing a minor crack in my front grill rather than buying and installing a new one. read more

Over the past few years I have brought my BMW to Ali at Royal Auto Body for 5 different small dents, scratches, and minor fender-benders. Each time he has done an amazing job. He is fair with his pricing, does the work on time, and returns the car in immaculate condition - cleaned, shiny, looking like new. I hate it when I end up with a dent on my car -- but knowing that I can get it repaired as good as new by Ali makes me feel much better. BMW of Sterling had recommended I go over to Royal a few years ago when I needed some repair work after a dump truck on the Dulles Toll Road lost a tire, and the shreds came flying back at my car. It was a great recommendation.... read more

I would recommend this place to anyone needing serious body repair. I had to price shop several places for multiple reasons: 1. just moved in to this area from another state, 2. had to self pay due to bad decisions, 3. there is likelihood that women gets overcharged at auto body shop. This place gave me the lowest quote, it was too good to be true because it's about $1000 cheaper than the best quote I got from the State I used to live but also was as almost a half amount to the one I got from another location (I wouldn't disclose the name, but it's the one with the highest rating and most reviewed). The number of days to repair was also about a half compared to the other shop. I was kind of anxious because it was my first time being here and everything sounded too good to be true but the result was great and I am so happy that I decided to fix my car here. read more

Mr. Toukaman runs an absolutely fantastic business and is such a genuine person! I took my BMW to his shop after a minor fender bender. Only took 2 days to match the paint and bring everything back to its original form. Mr. Toukaman even waited for me after the shop closed for me to pick my car up. The car looks better than when I bought it after their detail job. I'll continue to bring my cars to his shop for the entire time I'm in sterling read more

Ali runs an excellent auto body shop! He certainly knows what he is doing! He took care of the small dent on my wife's 2015 Volvo SUV and the bumper scrape on my 2014 BMW 435IX. Tremendous paint job! This family run business, with Isabella running the office, is both professional and personable. They have our highest recommendation! read more

I had some defects from previous work done by him over 5 years ago. Clear coat was coming off. More likely due to bad batch of clear. Ali took my car in a made it a priority to repair. It was done in just a few details and even though it was just trunk lid he also fully detailed the car. Great work by him and his team. One thing worth nothing. His employees are long standing which goes a long way. Thanks Ali for a job well done. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Ali Tourkamin and his Royal Auto Body shop. He is very fair priced and always does a great job. I trusted his shop with my BMW to repaint the front bumper cover which had lots of rock chips and he made it look brand new again. I was so happy with the results, I then let him repair the front bumper on my Porsche 911 which had a blemish from parking too close to the concrete stop block in a parking space. It too came back looking brand new. He went above and beyond because not only did he repair the marks that I pointed out to him to fix, but he also repaired all the other scratches underneath the car bumper from speed bumps, etc. His work is phenomenal. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed with the work he does should you decide to take your vehicle there . read more

Superb work! Ali and his crew made my car look like new. Everything was perfect. They handled the supplemental claim and even hleped me out with some unrelated dents and scratches. They completed the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for work on BMWs. They made the process painless and did an excellent job. They fully tested every component and made certain everything worked to standard. They carefully vetted each part against the VIN to ensure my car was returned to spec. Well done! read more

I used Royal Auto Body last year after a taxi hit my 2000 Infinity on the front passenger side. I took the car to Ali at Royal Auto Body and he was fantastic. He did a great job on my car; and worked with me and the budget I had for repairs. His daughter, Isabella, was also so helpful and easy to work with. My car looked fantastic afterwards - - I think Ali went above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend Royal and would definitely take my car there again if it needed body work.
