I got rear ended in my 2004 Durango which is a real "beater" that also had a damaged front end. The other drive's insurance took care of the back, I asked them to see what they could do with front for $1000. Not only did they do a great job on the rear end, the front looks great, and well under any previous estimates or the number I gave them. The Durango is what it is, and serves me well for moving stuff, landscape projects..., but now my better half is willing to ride in it(: And I can't say enough how informed and great to deal with Tania was. I left a 5-star review several years ago but something has changed. We brought our vehicle by at a scheduled time for an inspection on damage to the bumper that would likely need to be replaced. We waited for over a week before calling them back asking where the estimate was - it was only supposed to take few days. They indicated it wasn't ready and asked for a couple more days. We called back after another week and it still wasn't ready but was told it would be ready soon. It's now been more than two weeks later and still no estimate or no contact from them. I surely had faith in them, but getting hit one after another forced me to come here and share a little bit. 1. Scheduled and a time to drop off my car, got there 10 minutes late they told me to re-schedule again to drop off my car. My fault and my initial impression was their seriousness with time. 2. Went there on time during my second time, dropped off the car and waited more than 30 minutes for them to get a rental car for me. It should me the lack of coordination. 3. they had 2 works to do: fix front and trunk. I had 2 estimates for that, sent ton them my my insurance. I went outside, showed everything to the worker, who marked down with a red marker everything that needed to be fixed. 4. Stayed with a rental for about 10 days and very excited to finally see all my car fixed. I had a rental truck because the rental place did not have another car available. 5. After 10 days, the lady from the office told me that I need to pick up my car literally before a specific time- she was very vocal on that. I went there to pick up my car and guess what??? 6. The trunk got fixed, but the front, who got all marked down did not get fixed. They never called me, send me a text, emailed me, nothing. went there to pick the car and I asked: "Why is not the front of my car fixed after having my car for 10 days?" Well, no apologies give, no excuses give, no conversation with the manager at any point, or any other type of explanation. The only thing I got from them was. ": Here is is your key!" I don't know if this is a choking situation. I even find hard to explain. Is this a bad business? I can't tell, BUT, will not recommend it. I will be vocal about not recommend it to anyone. You guys appear to be professional, but like seriousness and that was very evident from every single angle: from the very minute i put my feet at your office door. Please wake up folks! read more

I had the absolute worst experience in this shop. The quality of their work was an absolute mess! They lied on their estimate and claimed to purchase new parts when they didn't order them. They left wires exposed and glued on headlights which ruined the sensors! It was an absolute mess of a repair especially considering the value they took from my insurance company! Do not go here! What distinguishes a good shop from a great shop is how they handle it when you show them an issue. When I went to pick up my vehicle, there were some minor issues. This place is TRULY excellent. I was rear ended on the driver side back corner of my car a few weeks ago and had never had to deal with the insurance claims process or repairs before. Geico was wonderful in recommending this shop. The day I brought the car in I was immediately greeted by someone at the front desk (and a SUPER cute pup named Cappuccino!!!). She had me sign some forms, someone took me outside to my car to go over the repairs and explain the process, and then the rental company (Enterprise) brought my rental car right to the shop! Once the repairs were complete I picked the vehicle up and got detailed receipts showing every repair and each step they took. My car was super clean inside and out and the repairs looked wonderful. I was out of town for most of the repair process but received email updates and even a photo of the finished product before I picked the car up. I've been safely driving since 1979 (44 years) and have had very few accidents. AVOID BEING FORKED -- DON'T EVER LET NOVA TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE Protect yourself & NEVER use or accept a referral from your insurer to have your repairs done at Nova. Nova replaced my original rear bumper with a non standard bumper, ignored the damage that was done to the passenger side rear guard and replaced 2 of my wheels without authorization. My vehicle was NOT rear ended in the collision it was hit in the passenger side rear guard. My vehicle was brought in with 3 black tires and 1 silver tire but returned with 2 black tires & 2 silver tires which were neither on the estimate nor related to the collision. I damaged my car in the parking garage a month or so ago. This past week, on Tuesday to specific, I Googled and found NOVA Automotive. I called, it was 4:45, they told me to come in and they'd give me an estimate the same day. I was assisted by Tania over the phone and she greeted me in person. Then Mario and Luis did my estimate in less than 30 minutes. The pièce de résistance was the AWESOME ESTIMATE. I went in to have a front replacement on my vehicle. I pointed out the issues to the employee pointing out the undercarriage and the wheel well. He took my info and then put an estimate together for my insurance company to approve and pay for. Once they got the approval they worked on the car for two weeks. The employee called me to tell me the car was ready. When I got there the bumper was nes but half the undercarriage was hanging down and the wheel well I pointed out initially wasn't fixed. I was livid. They told me they would fix that and would have it done in a few days. I then had to deal w my rental car issue bc of their blunder. Two days later I am called and told the car is fixed. I arrive to find that the mud flap on the side where the wheel well was an issue was gone and the whole front end was lose. The employee excused it saying that was normal and that the bumper was not an open part. I pointed out on another car similar to mine that the front end did not wiggle like mine to which the manager and a tech came out and basically caught the employee in a lie cause the bumper is supposed to be tighter and to find out that agin the undercarriage was not properly installed. So again they had to fix it which took another 3 days. This time when they finished the work, the employee called my wife instead of me. When I did go in to pick up the car, this time it was fixed properly and when I asked the employee why he didn't call me (in front of his manager) he told me he tried to call but couldn't get an answer. Umm cell phones let u know who calls even if u don't answer. So three times I had to tell them GHEIR job call them on their lies and was treated like crap by them. They get no rating from me because they were worse than a one and to top it off, they wouldn't do anything for me for the inconvenience. Also somehow in that 3 to 4 week the battery in my keyfab died and they did nothing about that or informed me of that until I couldn't get into my car. Horrible service. I was so worried that GEICO was steering me to a subpar body shop that I did not give Mario at NOVA a very easy time. I was skeptical and concerned that the dealer would be the better place for the repair. Mario assured me that the paint could be matched and I would never know the difference. After reading so many positive reviews I decided to go with NOVA with fingers crossed. He took responsibility for the mishap fully, honestly and offered me a refund for the amount I was overcharged. I needed rear brakes fixed before VA inspection... called a lot of places even the regular place I take my car for oil change. Emailed through the website because I never received a call back with a quote priced for brakes as promised. Jose remembered me from before and phoned me. I asked how much it would be and he quoted me a price cheaper than anywhere else I called. I made an appt. for March 9th 2018 @ 11am. Dropped my vehicle at 10:45am. Was told it would be ready between 1-2pm. It was nice they shuttled me back to work. By 3:30pm I had not received a call back. Called Jose to ask the status. He said he would call me back. The shop called around 3:45pm and told me my car was ready. I got there around 5:30pm. Was told the total was $100+ more than I was told. Then was told that they fixed rotors as well. I was under the impression just brake pads were going to be replaced. Would have liked a courtesy call letting me know there'd be a price increase and that rotors needed to be replaced as well. I was disappointed highly. They did match the price of where I originally was going to take it... but it still was $75 more than I was originally told. I came here to get a front lip (fiberglass) painted for my car - white pearl RSX - and they did an awesome job. Jose, Mario and the whole staff were great very helpful. This should be zero stars for the absolutely worst experience I could have had. I got into a minor fender bender and was referred to nova automotive from GEICO as an express shop. I made an appointment, brought my car in, was talked through what would need fixing and estimates 7-15 days. My car sat there for an entire week before anyone even looked at it to send over an estimate. I never received one single phone call from anyone who works there with any sort of update. Every time I called I was told, "oh, someone should have called you. No one reached out to you?" And an excuse why the promised finish date needed to be pushed back. 3 weeks of having my car and supposedly working on it and they just then realized they needed to order a new part because something under the hood was cracked, after the inspection together where I was told nothing under the hood was damaged. Again, no one called to tell me this- I found it out when I was supposed to be picking up my car the next day and called to confirm it was ready. On one occasion I was told I would be called back by the person working on my case in 30 minutes and after 2 hours of no call me and my husband showed up at the shop to see everyone just sitting around chatting at their desks saying they were just about to return my call. They ended up having my car for over a month. I've reported them to GEICO and they're investigating the shop for fraud. They believe they're purposely lengthening jobs to tack up car storage fees and hours. Stay away! read more

I scraped and dented my car in a dc parking garage for the millionth time (ugh) which is an expensive mistake to make. I wanted to work with a geico partner to make everything smoother and I'm glad I did. Many other geico partner shops have pretty bad ratings actually but this one had high ratings. I can see why- they are friendly and explain everything so everything super clearly and transparently. The price was even slightly lower than another shop I had compared to. And it turned out great! I highly recommend NOVA automotive for any body work you may have. My car was hit in a parking lot, and I needed to have the quarter panel and rear bumper replaced, as well as painting the repair. I made an appointment, they gave me my estimate right there. They even have a loaner car, so I did not need a rental. I took my car in on a Wednesday evening and was told it would be done the following Tuesday! Friday afternoon I received a call that my car was done and ready for pick up! 4 days early!!!
