If you don't want headaches and half-finished work, stay away I had originally raved about Reno and RevTech last year until late this year when I asked them to design and install a water methane capture kit If it goes downhill from there, anything goes RevTech selects parts, designs system and installs The kit cost thousands more to install than quoted and had problems from the start First there was a "kink in the supply line" or "some kind of traffic jam", then there was a wiring error (it turned out the cable was too close to the wheel and the tire damaged the cable). Then the kit just wasn't spraying Turns out they installed the wire connectors without any support and gravity pulled the cheap connectors they used apart After they fixed that, not 24 hours later the pump stopped working After months of repeatedly returning it to RevTech for them to troubleshoot and repeatedly break the car down to swap parts I had to be the one to suggest that they chose a model of controller that was defective and needed to be replaced with a different controller After they swapped it out for a new controller and I got it home, not 24 hours later I discover a full gallon of water meth puddled under my car after I parked for the night Guess what? Turns our RevTech decided to just patch a pressurized line they shortened by sticking the two ends into a flimsy piece of plastic tubing and it came undone. No clamps, no tape, nothing to secure the lines together other than hopes and wishes I had a real mechanic shop in Aberdeen fix the last issue since RevTech failed to give me my car back in an operational manner multiple times and I was tired of wasting my time and money while leaving my car in a backwater shop for weeks on end Reno and RevTech can't even bother to return my called to get a meager 200$ repair invoice from the other shop for the fix to RevTech's mistake on a 6-8k WMI kit after weeks of emails and calls to them That should tell you exactly where their head is when it come their customers These are just the major issues that highlight a dysfunctional pattern in how they work on cars I also have a laundry list of minor issues that occurred that demonstrate subpar/shoddy work and a general lack of care for their custom. Things like: 》Having the car returned to me multiple times drenched and caked in dried murky white fluid all over the exterior of the car. A 200k car with a custom paint job. These clowns couldn't bother to even wash off the filth they got on the car 》Shoddy running of the intakes lines and wires that make theanesthetic of the car seem piece milled together and make an attractive car look like an unlicensed plastic surgeon offering a discount in a back alley decided to to do the work 》They lost a grommet on my engine cover and failed to replace it after they swapped out the turbos other car 》They lost a locking lug bolt on the car's wheels 》They damaged the air intake boot thst connects to one of the turbos 》They failed to reinstall the bump guard on the back truck correctly after taking the car apart, so the trunk was closing on raw metal instead of the rubber padding. it sounded like the car was going to rip the trunk off the hinges until I discovered what was causing the issues and fixed it myself 》 They failed to put an oil line back in the proper position so it ended up getting pinned between the hood and the engine cover and leaking oil everywhere. they left it that way AFTER I had already noticed in a status update photo that it was misplaced and requested they fix it 》They have no clue how to run their dyno correctly. I wish my car made 1100hp at the wheels, but is just not true yet. They just don't know how to dial in the LOAD properly for the gear the car is in when they run it Overall, I recommend that you find another shop to modify your car because these people will leave you with a worse car than you left them with and everyone else is to blame for their mistakes. Buyer beware

    Reno dinos my 2024 330i

Visited their location recently for the first time and got my first oil change on my 2024 BMW 330i (and got Dino'ed, too). Excellent facility. Many bays. Well maintained. Staff is cordial, available, and exceptionally knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to consider them for future work. Highly recommend.

Before and after. Superior repairs, and very thankful!

They came up with a solution for my issue that saved me $500. I will never go anywhere else for quality automotive diagnosis

Rino & Musab are 2 great guys that really look after the customer to make sure they are getting an honest repair and not rate-gauging the customer either.

Negative Review If I could leave zero stars, I would…read more I brought my vehicle in twice because it was riding extremely rough after they "balanced" my tires. Both times I was told the problem wasn't them and that I needed to buy new tires. Instead of wasting more money, I went to a different shop -- they re-balanced the same tires and now my truck rides perfectly. They confirmed it was not the tires, but the poor work from this shop. So not only did I spend money here for a service that wasn't done correctly, but I also had to pay even more somewhere else to fix their mistake -- right in the middle of the holidays, when nobody needs extra surprise expenses. No accountability. No resolution. No offer to make things right. Just excuses. Negative stars for wasted time, extra costs, and terrible customer service. I would not recommend trusting your vehicle with this place.

Came here because of a friend referral. Wouldn't come back after the below issues…read more Services (1/5): I just got new brake pads and rotors, brake fluid flush, and engine coolant flush on 06/21/2023 at 94,597 miles at the Sterling, VA Mr. Tire location. I then took my car to another shop to get an alignment after getting new Tires at Costco, and they checked the brake pads and brake fluid as part of their normal routine and said that the brake fluid needs to be flushed since it's dark. I'm concerned that the brake flush wasn't done or wasn't done properly at Mr. Tire since the brake fluid should have still been clear after 500 miles. The shop also said that my front pads are at 7/32" and the back are at 9/32". They said that they shouldn't be that low after 500 miles of driving since they're supposed to be new & OEM parts start at 10/32". There's no way that 500 miles took 3/32" off both the front brake pads. I tried reaching out to Monro, but their Contact Us form is broken. I tried calling the shop, but they said that the services were rendered... when another shop is saying it wasn't and there's evidence that the brake flush wasn't performed or performed well. (See pic for reference after 500 miles). 2/3 services with issues after, I cannot recommend this place. The main lobby guy there seems very stressed and overworked, but he's extremely nice.
