I would never hire these guys again, or recommend them to anyone. There were many red flags and I'm kicking myself for overlooking them at the time. 1.) They were available to come out immediately. Despite later always being too busy to finish their work. 2.) The amount they quoted on the phone was doubled when they came onsite. $450 to $900 3.) They didn't ask for a paint code before starting work. 4.) They only took payment in forms that can't be refunded, like venmo and zelle. My complaints with the work: They used a plain black paint on a car that has a black with metal flecks. The difference in color is obvious. They didnt resolve all dents we discussed. They said they would come back within the next couple days to finish. After a month of many many follow ups in text and on yelp, they still have never come, and at this point I'm sure they never will. Don't use R&R Mobile Auto Body. I'm sure he will reply to this with something like 'Sorry for the inconvenience. We been short on staffed, we are now getting back to normal if you can reach back out to us...' Initially responded quickly, and had a cheaper rate. But a small paint chip turned into a larger sanding and spray paint job. To be honest the color looks good. But the paint dripped and dried with the drips formed. During the painting process he said the drips will go away on their own and if they don't, he will come back out and clean it up. Giving 2 stars because while he was quick and cheap, a dime sized paint chip turned into a softball sized sand and paint and the drips remain. Responded to me about meeting up to make fixes... Ricky did a good job fixing my dad's car multiple times. He does charge less than most businesses. He works anywhere, and has lent his own car so that my dad stayed mobile, which was appreciate. He does the complex repairs at his house. Because he doesn't have an actual garage, he works on a case by case basis. Tell him your deadline, wishes, your cost limits, etc before he starts the work. He gives a written invoice for the initial job but if there's any additional services added, he usually won't give an updated invoice. The quality of the work is to be expected for the cost. The paint color may not be a 100% match, but it's a lot better than the alternative. If that's a deal breaker for you, provide the paint yourself or tell him up front what you want done. read more
