2nd UPDATE: It is comical at this point so let me share more. He called within the 5 minutes since I made the update to the review. He claims he had no signal even though I heard him pick up the phone and hung up on me twice. He claims he had no signal to answer, but was able to see my review on yelp in minutes with no issue. Then sent me a screenshot of not delivered text on his end. I know this play. Once you block someone and text them right after, it will show not delivered. How did you not have signal yet you could read my review right away? This is silly UPDATE: Unfortunately, I was scammed by Ricky. Initially I gave him a 5 star review since he came by and got the job done quickly within an hour. I guess it was quick for a reason. After a week, I got the car washed and now the areas he worked on is chipping and yellowed. I had paid to fix the scratches as an investment before selling my car. Now it's worse than before. I called him for correction, he agreed to come fix it. He couldn't make it, so it was rescheduled. Called the next day, hung up on me, then blocked my number. Was initially quoted 350 to install spoiler on brand new civic whereas dealership quoted 550. This sounded like a good deal so I scheduled an appt Saturday. He no showed that day so I scheduled again for Sunday (in which he showed up). He came over and inspected the car / parts. I had done some prior research, so I knew what to expect during installation (holes drilled in to car from exterior). He stood around the car for some time and had me come out to find that it was a harder install than expected and that he would need to take out interior pieces to "avoid messing up my brand new car" - a point that he repeated multiple times which made me feel I was in the right hands. He also mentioned that he had been doing this for 40 years, and that my questioning was my lack of experience. Ok, whatever... he comes again on Monday. I took off of work for a couple hours so that he could complete it in the morning and I could be there for the first couple holes as I was nervous (for my brand new car). It started raining Monday morning, so he waited in his car for the drizzle to stop which totaled a couple hours. By the time I had to leave for work he just started so I wasn't able to see it through. He sends me a video after its all done showing the integrity of the spoiler by knocking on it and walking around and invoices me $477. I wasn't home so I sent the money without question. He had told me a part hadn't fit in the OEM honda kit, so he charged me for the $27 home depot run for the right part, as well as the time spent in his car (after he cancelled / no showed the other two appts). When I got home, I noticed that the interior looked completely untouched (where he told me he would be taking apart the day prior) and he hadn't replaced the pneumatic cylinders (a part of the installation we had agreed he would do). After actually looking at my spoiler, I can tell he drilled the holes in the wrong positions. When watching him work I could tell that the paper installation guide included in the package wasn't his primary concern for placing the spoiler. The spoiler is offset to the right of the car and he scratched the standoffs included in the set. My thoughts are that he ran to home depot to grab a bandaid after messing up the installation the first time. read more

I did not initially seek out R&R Mobile Auto Body on my own--my friend was having her Tesla Model X repaired and he told her that he could also take care of all the dents, scrapes and curb rash on my car same day. At first, I was impressed by the reasonable price and how quickly the work was completed. However, it didn't take long to realize that the job was done with very little attention to detail. From a distance, my car looked better, and the visible damage was removed. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the work was sloppy. The next day, I discovered white paint splatter on both the exterior of my car and inside the trunk. While it's not immediately visible from afar, the surface now feels gritty and bumpy to the touch--something that was not there before. Additionally, the black trim paint he applied does not match the original finish. He used a matte paint, which noticeably contrasts with the original glossy trim. Communication also became an issue after payment was made. When I raised these concerns, Ricky said he would return to fix everything once the weather improved. Despite multiple follow-ups, he never came back. For the price I paid, I expected much better workmanship and customer service. I would not recommend this business if you're looking for quality work, attention to detail, and reliability. read more

Ricky repaired my driver-side rear fender and bumper damage I had for a fraction of the cost and time of my initial body shop quotes. Initially, communication was great; however, once Ricky got paid, he went MIA. Even though he agreed to reinstall my back seats as part of the original quote, he was waiting on missing bolts. I texted 3 times asking when he'd return to finish but never heard from him again after he returned my car. The actual bodywork itself was ok. It is definitely not autobody shop quality. There is obvious orange peel of the paint, overspray on my interior/surrounding panels, and dust/particles embedded in the paint. The car looks like new from about 10 feet away, but the closer you get, the more imperfections you see. I will say the color match was SPOT ON!
