He accomplished what seemed like an impossible job. Three different body shops wanted to remove the bumper and repaint the entire panel, and one even recommended replacing the whole bumper. I'm extremely detail-oriented and very particular about my vehicles. I asked him to do the absolute minimum repair possible and carefully blend the clear coat into the existing finish instead of repainting the entire panel. He listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. He delivered a perfect result at a fraction of what other shops quoted. For me, the price was never the deciding factor--quality was. After carefully selecting him, I can confidently say I made the right choice. I'm extremely proud of my decision and couldn't be happier with the outstanding workmanship. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, highly skilled professional who truly cares about quality. read more

I just bought my Tesla Model Y Juniper and ended up with two 1.5cm scratches on the garage door side, pretty deep and exposing the metal primer. I got quotes on Yelp and read a lot of great reviews about SAP, and honestly, I really wanted to go with them. Richard responded with a more reasonable price than others and suggested a very economical touch-up paint solution since the damage was small. I happily agreed. He showed up on time as scheduled. Because the scratches were tricky and the pearl white color is hard to match, Richard ended up spending much more time than estimated to do the touch-up paint. He also fixed two rock chips on the front hood along the way. The results were almost invisible and at a very fair price. I'm extremely satisfied and plan to call Richard again in the future whenever I accumulate more scratches or rock chips. Now that I know SAP, I'll never be frustrated about small dings and scratches again. read more

Great work! Reasonable quote and quality repairs. Will definitely use again. Highly recommend!

Richard is amazing! He not only fixed a nasty scratch I made on the car but also several other issues for a very reasonable price. The car looks better than it did even before the scratch! I can't recommend his service enough. While I hope I won't need to come back, I will definitely recommend his services to my friends who would need them read more

Bought a used car in great condition. Had some minor scratches and paint chips. For my own mental sanity, wanted to get these minor scratches resolved. Richard was knowledgeable and honest. Happy to pay what he quoted. He was willing take on the challenge other auto paint detailers would not take on. Thank you. read more

There's not much I can add to all the other 5-star reviews. Richard is awesome. I had some paint chipped on the trunk lid of my Acura. I reached out to him and he had me send him a picture of the damage and gave me a price. Based on his reviews I didn't even bother wasting time comparing prices and went with him. He showed up on time and gave me a time estimate but he finished early. I went out to look at the car with him and I was blown away. No way to tell that the area has been repaired. Richard is a real pro and is very communicative throughout the process. I have a few scratches on the car now and will definitely reach out to him again. I recommend him with no hesitation whatsoever. He does top-notch work at a great price. read more

Richard was prompt, provided a quote by looking at the photos and did an amazing job. I will lo longer stress about dings and scratches.

Can't recommend them highly enough. I have made them my go to for such projects going forward

Richard is amazing. His quality is excellent and he's extremely patient. He will guarantee his work by addressing any issues until it's resolved and you're happy. Paint color and repairs look just like the original. Don't look anywhere else if you need a mobile car repair because Richard is one of the best in the area. read more

I'm very happy I found Richard. He does excellent work. I reached out to him by email and he responded quickly. I sent him a picture of the damage to my trunk lid and he provided an estimate of the cost of repair. I was satisfied with the number so I set up an appointment to have him come over my house to do the work. Richard needed to reschedule the date and then on the new date he was running a bit late but he stayed in close communication with me and was very flexible based on my schedule. He arrived and after I provided him with an electrical outlet (which was the ONLY thing he needed from me) he set to work. I didn't want to hover over him while he worked so I went back inside and I will admit I was a bit anxious about how this would turn out. He called me when he was finished - which was about 45 minutes earlier than he anticipated. I walked outside and was amazed at the work he did. He is really an artist and while I expected a high quality repair I couldn't get over the fact that there was no way to tell that there was any issue prior to his arrival. His work is amazing and he is very conscientious and professional, as well as being a very nice guy to deal with. Before he left I figured I'd let him have a look at another minor paint issue I had on my hood and I expected him to have to deal with it during another appointment, which I was prepared to make after seeing how he fixed my trunk lid, but that was not necessary. He quickly corrected the issue (which turned out to be paint overspray from an apparently previous repair). My car exterior now looks flawless! I tried to attach before and after photos but I tried everything and could not get them to upload. I cannot say enough great things about Richard and the work he does and I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more

I got scratches and dent when I got too ambitious in backing my car between two pillars in the worst garage in Washington, DC. Bodyshops in the region estimated $2-5K to repair then I found Richard on Yelp. Richard is a true pro. He is responsive and patient in the estimation process. Scheduling and the actual work is easy because he came to my driveway and worked miracle in 5 hours. The price is so reasonable you want his business model to succeed. Highly recommended! read more

I've been asking Richard to work on my cars for about 10 years and recommended him to anyone that will listen. Best in the business. And trustworthy. He's talked me out of doing some things that would have made a lot of business sense to him, but limited value to me. His work is top notch. He just "erased" a key job on my Escalade that went down to the metal. It now looks brand new. 100% recommend Saint Auto Paint. read more

Richard had done excellent work on my Corvette 5 years ago. I remembered him five years later asking for his services again. He repaired scratches on the bumper of my new truck and scratches my wife accumulated on the front of her SUV. He even refinished some grill damage without the paint code. Automakers never provide paint codes for grills. He matched it perfectly. All work performed at a reasonable price. He does not disappoint. He will always be my go to as long as he is around. I have recommended him to all my friends. read more

Richard was awesome from start to finish. He was flexible with coming over on a Saturday. The paint job was tip top professional and cost a third of what the big guys charge. Couldn't recommend Richard and this company more. read more

Richard is awesome. Over the years I've lost two battles with concrete pillars in tight DC parking garages and decided it was time for a cleanup. I first went to a collision center where they wanted to take off bumpers and panels for thousands of dollars. Same for several others. I found my way to Saint Auto Paint where Richard quoted me for less than half of the other places. He came to my building and worked all day and explained his process throughout. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Now my car looks like nothing ever happened. Highly, highly recommend. read more

My front bumper needed a respray after being hit. I had been quoted by another business that it would be a 3 day job and as someone who works 7 days being without my car for that long was just not an option. Richard was fast to quote based on some photos and I absolutely loved the convenience of him coming to my house to complete the job. It took around 5 hours, the paint matches perfectly, my car is back to looking flawless. Cannot thank and recommend him enough! read more

I found Saint Auto Paint on Yelp after doing research to repair a difficult rust "small on the surface" rust spot that appeared on my car. I had discussed its repair with a reputable body shop that gave me a quote well beyond my budget given the actual current value of my 2008 Acura . I knew that without repair the small spot would only get worst and shorten the life of an otherwise very good car with low mileage for the model year that I wanted to keep. Then I discovered and met Richard. I sent him photos and he gave me a firm and firm estimate that he honored. Saint is an appropriate name for his shop because I regard him as one! He was honest competent and thorough. He saved me and my car. Richard sent photos on his progress and explained the cause and source of the rust issue. He made a valid repair and the result is that the rust area is repaired and my car is restored to a like new appearance in the area where the rust spot was. Excellent work! His price quote was fair and reasonable for project. I could not be more pleased. I cannot be more appreciative. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would do so without hesitatiion. read more

A hit and run driver left my less than 1 year old new car with several deep 9 inch scratches just above a headlight and scratches and paint transfer on a plastic trim piece. Richard was meticulous prepping the areas to be painted and covering almost the entire car to avoid any overspray. The freshly painted areas are indistinguishable from the adjoining areas and there is nothing to suggest there was ever any damage. Richard matched the color of the plastic trim piece perfectly, even without the benefit of a manufacturer's color code. He also removed scuffing from the headlight lens. The cost was 1/3 less than the quotes from 2 highly rated auto body shops. I recommend Saint Auto Paint without any hesitation or reservation. read more

Amazing! Richard was fast, efficient and does quality work. I was concerned when he left that it did not look 'smooth'. He said give it a day, it needs to dry, but that if it didn't he would come back and ensure it looked like it should. After 24 hours (just like he said) it looks like I never scratched my car!! Really so satisfied with the look of the paint job. You can't even tell any damage was ever done. Looks like new! read more

Highly recommend! I texted pictures and got a very quick response with a quote for price and amount of time. Compared to a few other shops and it was the best quote in terms of price and length of time. Richard had availability within the week. He comes to your home and does it so it VERY convenient but no corners were cut and the process isn't loud and obtrusive if you are worried about disturbing neighbors. I'm going to get some work done on my other car as well since I was so pleased with the work. read more
