There were 7 of us in our group and we were seated within 5 minutes. Coffee was good and the food was delicious. I got the Greek omelet with hash-browns--delicious. Only bummer was that the omelet wasn't cooked all together....it was eggs folded over with all of the toppings in the middle. But, still tasted good, the eggs were a little bit dry because of how it was cooked. :) no major complaints though. Staff was friendly as super fast, even with a full house. Our party also ordered the Crab cake Benedict, grilled chicken salad, and French toast. All amazing. read more

Excellent service by our waitress, Jae. Belgian waffles were fluffy and perfect. Enjoyed very much the Lox & Bagel (cold salmon, capers, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs on a bagel), the Frisco breakfast sandwich (grilled ham, scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar on perfectly toasted sourdough bread) was simple perfection. Been here 1.5 times. 1 visit = good food and service. No complaints. The 0.5 visit = we didn't eat because we were seated for 15 minutes in a half empty restaurant (seated in the back room booths) and no server ever came to our table. There were other tables sat around us, some getting food but minimal visibility of any staff if you needed anything. I saw the hostess in the area more than any servers. We got up and left and told the hostess no one showed up to even take drink order. Very disappointing. So we went to A1A Beach Diner which never disappoints. read more

You may come walking out thinking, "What have I done?" but it will be delicious nonetheless. My only gripe is that it can get super busy during the weekends around breakfast/ lunch time and the wait can seem more than too long. Absolutely loved the chicken and waffles! The chicken was very moist and crispy; I couldn't get enough of it. They give you about 4-5 pieces of assorted chicken from drumsticks, wings, and breast. One of the best diners that I've been to. They didn't have a lot of vegan options. Just two if I remember correctly but for those vegetarians and meat eaters out there, this is the place to be! I ordered the veggie burger which was delicious and filling! I ordered a side of chips and onion rings. After finishing the burger I didn't have enough room for the sides so we decided to take it home. My boyfriend had the chicken waffles which he loved! Absolutely delicious according to him. They even added hot sauce to his syrup which was something I've never seen before. My husband and I went to Metro in St Augustine this afternoon. Been going for years but since the covid not as much. He ordered the pot pie and I ordered the fish and chips. The pot pie was not the one we used to order. It wasn't a pot pie at all. Taste texture and presentation were nothing like the ones we ate for years. Then the fish was very dry and mostly a crunchy coating was what I was left to eat. The fries were great. The service was excellent. Certainly wasn't our servers fault but we felt like we spent $36 on 2 drinks and French fries. Very disappointing meal. read more

We found this place here on Yelp and decided to check it out because of the high rating. I had the Yo Challah on the Square, which on the menu sounded great. When it came to the table it was huge! It was thick slices of Challah bread stuffed with a cream cheese mixture and sliced bananas, on top was a strawberry/blueberry compote. Over all it wasn't terrible but the bananas we're very over powering and that made me not like it very much. (I'm not a big fan of bananas) My husband had the two egg breakfast. It was your typical morning breakfast with eggs, sausage, and hash browns. He asked for over easy eggs but they were very over cooked. For the most part the breakfast was pretty good. The service was very friendly and fast. This might be worth another trip to try it again. read more

Fantastic! Had a classic American breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. They were absolutely slammed, but they sat me quickly and had a cup of coffee in front of me in a couple short minutes. My meal took a little longer to arrive, but as busy as it was, this was no surprise. I've definitely waited longer for food in a near empty restaurant before, and I never once saw the bottom of my cup of coffee.
