I expected this restaurant to be so much better after waiting approximately 30 minutes for a table. Our server was nice however she didn't write down our orders and kept forgetting to bring the items we requested at the beginning of the order. For instance she forgot to bring water and lemons, hot tea for my brother etc. Additionally she forgot to bring hot sauce for my girlfriends omelet even though she asked twice!! The food was pretty good, but my only complaint was that my eggs arrived cold. I do think this establishment is a great place to eat and relax with friends given that it was very busy and my brother goes there often. Hopefully next time I dine there, the experience will be much better, but for now, I give this place an average three star rating. read more

Stopped here on a whim after a long wait in the airport and was not disappointed! Great food, friendly attentive service, and HUGE portions. Our waitress was beyond attentive and even apologized for us for the extra wait after she made us two freshly brewed glasses of sweet tea. Only wish I lived here so I could try everything on the menu. Shrimp and grits didn't disappoint but definitely come HUNGRY! Oh and be sure to order a sweet tea to wash it all down. Love this place so I was very sad to see the changes in the menu--the pot pie was absolutely delicious and now it's pretty good they changed the homemade biscuit crust to a puff pastry on top not as good! My niece took us to the Metro Diner as a special treat. Our first visit was delightful. Can't believe how great their bacon cheeseburger tasted. We had a lot of options with a lot of specials being offered. We have been several times now and I have enjoyed each visit. Great service and pleasant staff as well. Highly recommended. read more

I was in town for military training and stopped by this place to grab breakfast before heading home for a 5 hr drive. The breakfast potatoes and French toast was super yummy (and they honor military discounts). I will definitely be visiting in the near future. read more

My husband and I go to Metro Diner every Saturday morning. I love that we always have the option to sit and eat outside. Big servings for great prices. By far, our favorite place for breakfast. Food is always good, quick and hot. The wait can be pretty long depending on when you go but worth it. They have a nice variety of options and so far I've liked almost everything I've ever had here. There has only ever been one dish I wasn't a fan of but that was certainly not because of them, just tried to step too far out of my comfort zone. Looking forward to going back. read more

My family and I went to metro diner for brunch (6 of us total) we were sat in about 20 minutes, witch considering it was Easter Sunday at noon I thought that was good. We ordered two bloody Mary's witch came out great. And the server was very nice. On the other hand Emmy cousin waited on her eggs Benny's for much longer than the rest of us did and when it came out it was very over cooked. Another family member also never received his side with his meal. They comped the two meals for us. So I'm not upset with the place but it also won't be one of our regular spots. read more

I got the American burger and onion rings. FINALLY a place in Georgia that knows how to make their onion rings CRISPY!!! I have eaten here numerous times. I have never been disappointed. The customer service is always on point. My food have always been delicious. I usually come for breakfast and I have come for lunch once or twice. Waffles topped with fresh fruit is simply scrumptious. Fruit is always sweet. Syrup is not needed. Bacon eggs.....yum. Very large portions, reasonable pricing for the amount of food. Felt crowded inside so we chose to sit on the patio area that was heated. Food was just average. I ordered a Rueben, it was very runny and water dripping all over and my mother had breakfast. If I ever return I will go for breakfast because it all looked good and large portions. read more

The food here is disgustingly unhealthy, to the point where you'd be embarrassed of what you're eating, but it's also really good!! The Philly cheesesteak and burgers are really good. The breakfast menu has a good selection too. I ordered an omelet which was good, but slightly runny. Other than that, service is good like the food. read more

This place went above and beyond to make sure that my family and friends could get seated in a timely manner. We had a couple individuals who had individual needs and they meet those even with a packed restaurant. The food came out got and very good. The server was very accurate and considerate. Not sure if smoking is allowed outside on the patio area but there was someone who decided to smoke a cigarette but later put it out once we complained.
