My wife and I eat breakfast here once or twice a month. Clean ; friendly service; food always comes to the table hot. It has a southern diner vibe and pace; popular with the locals. The menu is straight forward and well executed. I usually have one of the omelettes with grits, or a pecan waffle ; portions are generous For us this place is the best for breakfast in Richmond Hill- we like Waffle House too but it's another 10 mins drive time. For a more elaborate breakfast we go into Savannah. read more

The restaurant was clean and well kept. We ordered the chicken and waffles and steak and eggs, which was served piping hot! The whole chicken wings were made fresh and the waffle was light, crispy and airy! The steak was well seasoned and cooked just right! The service was good and the price was reasonable. Definitely will return! read more

This feels more like a truck stop. The location is not very clean, service is slow and not very good. The food lacked flavor and most of the food was burnt. Asked them if the potatoes could be replaced because they had a burnt taste to them and was told that's how they will come out again because that's how they are cooked. read more

I always have a great experience here. They have a great selection of items and I like how you can piece a meal together and order just one pancake, instead of a whole stack. read more

The ambiance was casual and the service was good but we couldn't eat here as two in our party have shellfish allergies and they cook everything on one grill with no option to cook elsewhere. Therefore if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, especially shellfish, this is not the place for you. read more

So I ordered the shrimp po boy with fries. The service was fast and friendly. I waited literally about 10-15mins and received my order. The sandwich was steaming hot, however, the fries not so much. It's pretty much an open floor, seat yourself, cozy little restaurant. The food was pretty good, too. read more

I love crispy hash browns...nothing but potato and ketchup. Simple place, really good food.

Disappointing food. We had the Biscuits and Gravy and the Tex-Mex Omelette. Sizable portions, but avoid both. Friendly service, clean dining area. read more

I don't know why we haven't been here before this visit. It's hard to find anywhere you can get a full meal for 2 people for less than $25. But here, it's possible! It's a seat yourself when you walk in establishment. This seemed to make things move quickly. It was consistently busy. You check out at the front cash register. They do add a 4% fee for credit card usage, but if you pay cash they remove the surcharge from your bill. Our waitress Shellsea was on it! She kept our cups full and there wasn't a moment we were left for a long time waiting for something. I ordered 2 eggs, hash browns with cheese and sausage. You have to ask for other jelly if you don't like grape, because that is what they will stick you with. You also have to ask for sugar substitute, because they don't put it on the table. My husband got the chicken fried steak and was really happy with it. read more

Stopped looking for a quick breakfast. Pretty busy with lots of togo orders. Seat yourself so don't wait for them to seat you Lots to choose from for breakfast or lunch. I decided on the flaming chicken sandwich. Diced chicken tossed in hot sauce with fixings including jalapeños! Pretty tasty. Deb had the triple decker. Really good. Solid breakfast spot. read more

Oh I love GRITS and Omelette Cafe doesn't disappoint. As soon as you walk into the establishment you hear the cooking of various dishes on the grill as the kitchen is open view from the table seating. Oh I don't mind that because the workers converse with the customers and it makes you feel right at home. As for the food all I can say it satisfies my craving for grits and the food comes really fast after you order it. The shrimp and grits are plentiful and the eggs are made to order. Southern hospitality at its best. Hope you get to try this place soon. read more

But if you want something better than McDonald's but realativly quick, try here. And there is a bakery with coffee next door! read more

Good food, quick service, large portions. The coffee and orange juice were good, and we are very picky when it comes to OJ. The Belgian waffle was crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The sausage gravy, corned beef hash and hash browns were convenience foods, but prepared well. The restaurant is bright and clean. read more

Best breakfast in Richmond hill! Service is fast and nice and the food is delicious. If you need a breakfast spot go here. Had a omelette and egg breakfast and both were great. read more

This is THE breakfast place. I have made it my mission to order something different every time until I've tried everything on the menu. Breakfast comes out hot and tasty every single time. I've had nothing but great customer service - everyone smiles when they make eye contact. The prices are low and the portions are big. All the omelets are light and perfectly seasoned. The hash browns with veggies is a meal in itself, loaded with veggies and perfectly crisp. The biggest surprise to date was the ginormous blueberry pancakes. The black coffee refill never stops and it is brewed frequently. The star of the show, however - the grits. Ohmagah can they please come by the bucket!? Creamy, light, and silky smooth. I could just have grits and coffee. read more

I stopped by here to meet some friends. I used the bathroom to wash my hands and honestly after using the bathroom I really had hard time ordering a any food. The bathroom was so dirty, floors, walls doors etc plastered in old dirt. The food my friends orders looked pretty good but yet , I cannot give more the two stars, due to the overall hygiene concerns of this place read more

Visiting friends in the area and we tried out this place and it was GREAT!! Service was excellent, food was delicious and portions were generous! Ended coming in again the next day for breakfast again! Very family friendly and lots of space for anyone in a wheelchair/walker. Coffee is great and you must try either the pancakes or the waffles... both super yummy! Will definitely come have breakfast here again next time we are in town! read more

Food was great and service was amazing. Highly recommended this place. The French toast and omelette were perfect. Very fast service.

Customer service is nice very nice served well the employees are very nice and the food itself didn't take long. I'm actually thinking about recreating this place in my Minecraft world! So I'd say the ambiance is cozy and nostalgic to many. I think the prices are average, the po boy was $12.20 and the fries / hash browns were $5.50 in total. Very good quality food for a respectable price. I'd say thumbs up if you haven't visited this place, you definitely should consider it! read more

Quick, hot, fast food. The pancakes were huge. I wouldn't recommend getting cheese eggs because they just put like a kraft slice on top.

Great breakfast spot, but get there early... ...cause the locals get there and take up all the tables! As they should, 'cause the place is that good. Though it's hard to mess up breakfast food, it's even harder to make it memorable, and this little place does make it memorably good. I also want to mention the wait staff, though super busy, which doesn't lend itself to spending time to chat, was efficient and made sure our coffees and drink were keep bottomless. Great job from a small-business place. read more

We go to both the Abercorn location and the Richmond Hill location. Both places have excellent food and service. The Richmond Hill location gets very busy at lunch time but never have had to wait long for our meals. The staff is friendly and I love not having to yell over televisions to hear your companion. read more

Decided to go out for breakfast with the wife and daughter this morning and try the Omelette Cafe for the first time. The service was quick and friendly but the coffee refills were slow. Food overall was just ok during this breakfast visit. My waffle was cold ,however, the items that my wife and daughter ordered were served at a better temperature. There was a little "grill" taste to their food and the cheese flavor on the omelette's tasted like sliced processed cheap cheese. The wife stopped in to use the bathroom and she came back and said they were disgusting... I didn't bother to checked out her story after her return. I'd probably search around for another spot next time but there aren't many in the area. read more

I had really high hopes for this place because the menu looked so damn inviting... However that's where it ends for me, because taste & flavor is KING!!! The menu and customer service was great, the food was a huge let down. The worst chicken & waffles I've ever eaten. Bland waffle & old soggy fried chicken. Had to throw it away! The saddest looking French toast I've ever eaten, but it was the only decent thing we got. The grill needs to cleaned or something, because how do you mess up eggs over easy? I would not recommend & definitely will not try them again!!!! read more

Hot coffee, cold bacon, cold eggs, soggy toast, hot grits. The toast and bacon are obviously pre-cooked so it's cafateria quality served to your table. Service was great and it's a diner atmosphere. Just wish they tried a bit harder for crispy bacon and warm toast.Your call read more

Great service. Fantastic food. Amazing prices. This place was absolutely great! Portions were very large.

This is going to be a one and done for me. Nothing spectacular. I come from NYC and sorry but we have some of the best greasy spoon places around. The place is clean and the set up is basic nothing to brag about. Service was friendly and quick in the beginning. Food well was basic. I had eggs , bacon and hash browns and this was fine. The wife had eggs , grits sausage and smoked sausage. This is where the problems begin and this place went from a 4 star to a 2 star. Grits were instant and flavorless. The sausage as found out halfway through were raw ( see pics ). Mentioned it to the waitress and her answer was " I do not controls what goes on back there". When the bill arrived she said she removed the smoke sausage in to make up for the raw sausage. As you can see from the bill the smoked sausage was billed. Either way I was not impressed at all with this place. And if we are ever in Georgia again we will not be back. read more

Kayla absolutely RUINED our experience at this particular restaurant. The waitress took the order however the cheeseburger arrived without cheese. Easy fix. The deluxe Philly chicken sandwich arrived with bacon (requested w/ out bacon). Kayla rushed over to loudly announce that I would be charged for TWO sandwiches because I requested a new sandwich instead of them just removing the bacon. Religious reason for the non pork on sandwich. She actually YELLED across the restaurant not to remake the sandwich because I refused to pay for two sandwiches. Kayla is RUDE, LOUD,VERY NON PROFESSIONAL & unpolished to say the least. She wears a green t shirt & I'm not sure what her position is but her negative attitude & energy probably reflects the empty seats on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant rating has dropped to 3.5 STARS and I CAN SEE WHY. With staff like KAYLA, the STARS WILL CONTINUE TO DROP! I RECOMMEND FIRING KAYLA AND HIRING A PROFESSIONAL PERSON WITH KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY WITH RESPECT TO FOLLOWING RELIGIOUS DIETARY BELIEFS. My ENTIRE FAMILY felt DISRESPECTED BY KAYLAS BEHAVIOR. The wait staff immensely apologized for her RUDE BEHAVIOR! That restaurant used to be full but I can now see what/who the problem is! read more

If I could give -Star I would!!! Walked in the place has one free table a few others dirty tables, no one said a work. After standing at the door got a few minute watching our customers walking around us to take a seat... we got the silver message. ‍ Antoine 10 /15 go minutes pass....finally drink orders are taken! I ordered decaf, normally I get it'll be a few minutes I have to brew a new pot. Nope! Served me ice cold decaf coffee, then acted like I was bothering them when I asked for the regular coffee because hubby's coffee had smoke coming out. Finally got the regular coffee maybe she gave me another cup of decaf Another 15/20 minutes pass; food finally arrives!!! Gross Bacon fatty, salty & rubbery; grits creamy extremely creamy... the one thing that was decent was the raisin toast! They were very quick to bring the check! The waitress should not have gotten a top but I tipped her because she has a job!! read more
