I don't know why we haven't been here before this visit. It's hard to find anywhere you can get a full meal for 2 people for less than $25. But here, it's possible! It's a seat yourself when you walk in establishment. This seemed to make things move quickly. It was consistently busy. You check out at the front cash register. They do add a 4% fee for credit card usage, but if you pay cash they remove the surcharge from your bill. Our waitress Shellsea was on it! She kept our cups full and there wasn't a moment we were left for a long time waiting for something. I ordered 2 eggs, hash browns with cheese and sausage. You have to ask for other jelly if you don't like grape, because that is what they will stick you with. You also have to ask for sugar substitute, because they don't put it on the table. Good food, quick service, large portions. The coffee and orange juice were good, and we are very picky when it comes to OJ. The Belgian waffle was crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Oh I love GRITS and Omelette Cafe doesn't disappoint. As soon as you walk into the establishment you hear the cooking of various dishes on the grill as the kitchen is open view from the table seating. Oh I don't mind that because the workers converse with the customers and it makes you feel right at home. As for the food all I can say it satisfies my craving for grits and the food comes really fast after you order it. The shrimp and grits are plentiful and the eggs are made to order. I've had nothing but great customer service - everyone smiles when they make eye contact. The prices are low and the portions are big. All the omelets are light and perfectly seasoned. Visiting friends in the area and we tried out this place and it was GREAT!! Service was excellent, food was delicious and portions were generous! Ended coming in again the next day for breakfast again! Very family friendly and lots of space for anyone in a wheelchair/walker. Quick, hot, fast food. The pancakes were huge. I wouldn't recommend getting cheese eggs because they just put like a kraft slice on top.

We go to both the Abercorn location and the Richmond Hill location. Both places have excellent food and service. The Richmond Hill location gets very busy at lunch time but never have had to wait long for our meals. The staff is friendly and I love not having to yell over televisions to hear your companion. read more

Though it's hard to mess up breakfast food, it's even harder to make it memorable, and this little place does make it memorably good. Decided to go out for breakfast with the wife and daughter this morning and try the Omelette Cafe for the first time. The service was quick and friendly but the coffee refills were slow. Food overall was just ok during this breakfast visit. My waffle was cold ,however, the items that my wife and daughter ordered were served at a better temperature. There was a little "grill" taste to their food and the cheese flavor on the omelette's tasted like sliced processed cheap cheese. The wife stopped in to use the bathroom and she came back and said they were disgusting... I didn't bother to checked out her story after her return. I had really high hopes for this place because the menu looked so damn inviting... However that's where it ends for me, because taste & flavor is KING!!! The menu and customer service was great, the food was a huge let down. The worst chicken & waffles I've ever eaten. Bland waffle & old soggy fried chicken. Had to throw it away! The saddest looking French toast I've ever eaten, but it was the only decent thing we got. The grill needs to cleaned or something, because how do you mess up eggs over easy? Kayla absolutely RUINED our experience at this particular restaurant. The waitress took the order however the cheeseburger arrived without cheese. Easy fix. Kayla rushed over to loudly announce that I would be charged for TWO sandwiches because I requested a new sandwich instead of them just removing the bacon. This is going to be a one and done for me. Nothing spectacular. I come from NYC and sorry but we have some of the best greasy spoon places around. The place is clean and the set up is basic nothing to brag about. Service was friendly and quick in the beginning. Food well was basic. I had eggs , bacon and hash browns and this was fine. The wife had eggs , grits sausage and smoked sausage. This is where the problems begin and this place went from a 4 star to a 2 star. Grits were instant and flavorless. The sausage as found out halfway through were raw ( see pics ). Mentioned it to the waitress and her answer was " I do not controls what goes on back there". When the bill arrived she said she removed the smoke sausage in to make up for the raw sausage. As you can see from the bill the smoked sausage was billed. Either way I was not impressed at all with this place. And if we are ever in Georgia again we will not be back. read more

After standing at the door got a few minute watching our customers walking around us to take a seat... we got the silver message. ‍ Antoine 10 /15 go minutes pass....finally drink orders are taken! Did not stay to eat as I was just getting off work and just wanted to take my breakfast to go. I was right down the road. Didn't get to experience the dining. I did sit down because no one was up front and when she found out I was ordering take out she didn't seem too happy. I ordered the western omelette asked to add a two ingredients and I substituted a side. So I understood there might be so upcharges. Now I date a breakfast chef, and I know how much ingredients cost and how things are suppose to look and taste. The egg was paper thin, couldn't even hold the ingredients in the eggs. And it was very bland along with the potatoes. My toast looked toasted but it was soft. And the cheese they used for the omelette looked and tasted like queso. It was super melted. And I know I said I took it to go, but I'm literally 1 min. down the road. There is no way that should of melted like a watery dip, and the my toast should be that chewy to eat. Luckily I was home and could spice things up and make it edible. And lastly I thought the meal was overpriced. $17 for that meal?!
