Man, I really wanted to like this place because I just relocated to Savannah and I am a huge fan of cheesesteaks. I always find the best spot in whatever city I live in and I become a frequent customer but unfortunately this won't be my go to location. This is a small location connected to a gas station and kind of tucked in the corner of the parking lot. There are a couple of spaces in front of the establishment, but you may have to park on the other side of the gas station if there is a lot of traffic. When you walk in this feels like a legitimate spot with all of the Philly memorabilia and the juice dispensers makes you believe you are about to get an authentic Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, as you can see from my pictures that was not what I received. In addition to this, it took almost 30 minutes to get our sandwiches after waiting about five minutes at the counter by myself while I watched the young lady working prepare other sandwiches before taking any new orders. Meanwhile, another gentleman who I am not sure what his purpose was, stood behind the counter with his arms folded, and simply watched the whole affair without greeting or offering any sort of assistance with regard to the menu or ordering. Just a really bizarre set up but based on the one young lady working it sounds like they're having some significant labor issues so I'll give them a little grace on that. But if you can't deliver a solid sandwich, I have to ding you there. The bread itself, while appearing to be legitimate, was slightly on the stale side so as you can see, once the ingredients were added, it kind of folded in on it itself. The steak was a bit grizzly and dry, and didn't even feel the full bun up, which is definitely a pet peeve for cheesesteaks lovers. And the wings were some of the smallest, driest wings I've had in years. My guess is these were either old wings or previously frozen and fast thawed. Either way, they were almost inedible. Maybe the lack of good labor has affected their overall quality so hopefully they find a solution because this ain't it! read more

Since I heard all the positive reviews, I thought I'd make the drive. I will say this much. It was a unique Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was more like a Sloppy Joe made from beef steak with a lot of salt. I can't recommend it as a real Philly. More of an alternative. Nothing really close to an original. We've been waiting to try this place but I knew we had to eat it there. Idk if I agree about it being pricey or not because even though we spent about 45$ it was enough food to feed a family of three as long as it's a husband/wife/little kid trio. Angel was on the grill but I can't remember the light skinned girls name who actually told us her and the grill guys name. Her customer service was on point though and I love how she guided us through ordering when she didn't have to because we would've spent more by accident. The seasoning of the Philly was top tier but it was overcooked. The cheese sauce disappointed me because it was clumpy, the color was off and of course the taste was too. So I had to go get my own cheese sauce from Taco Bell. Once I added it though.. I literally was in heaven. The board walk fries were a hit too, so I'm sorry to anyone who didn't get there's prepared right. I found parchment paper or what resembled it in my sandwich after I bit it and that disturbed me but at least it wasn't hair. I liked the interactive dinning experience. Found out about this place via their food truck which was phenomenal! Decided to try the brick & mortar location. Definitely a hole in the wall place, slightly scary, but the food is great! The customer service skill of the fall working may be original to Philly, but I wasn't thrilled. I love that every table has a board game to pass time. At the food truck I tried the meatball subs (highly recommend), today we had the cheeseburger subs and the bull street bully. All are great choices! read more

First off, Shout out to Louisa who is a phenomenonal woman. Her positive energy is infectious in a great way. When she recommended the spaghetti fries and I took my first bite, yes lord!! My tongue was speaking in tongues. I got that and the "Answer" which is loaded fries with ribeye steak, onions and American cheese. I opted for provolone cheese though. I wish I can say I liked this place as I saw a TikTok about it and was like okay it looks like an authentic Philly spot. We ordered the regular chicken Philly, regular broad street bully, an order of the boardwalk fries (which we never got), and then we got 10pc wings Buffalo and crack wings and they were okay. Unfortunately, this place just ain't it. My Philly Cheesesteak was just ok 5/10 at best. The worst thing though is they served me cold soggy fries. I knew there was a problem when I saw the cook put the fries down for less than thirty seconds but I thought maybe they are pre-cooked and they just had to heat them up. Then when I arrived home I opened them to find a soggy cold mess. The food was very expensive and not cooked well at all. When I saw the young lady that makes the sandwiches look as if she should be in High School, my gut feeling told me "this is not going to be good". Anyways, I was right! First of all, my bread had the texture of being heated up in the microwave partially soft, partially hard, and BTW absolutely nothing special about the roll, I've had better tasting rolls from Publix. In fact I've had better tasting cheesesteak sandwiches from the waffle house. Are Philly cheesesteaks supposed to taste like hamburgers? We'll mine did, and if I wanted a burger... Some parts of the meat was kind of chewy, a little tough so it's my guess that it wasn't made fresh on the grill, it was sitting and when I ordered it was simply heated up. Poor execution. I've never been mad before about any restaurant's food that disappointed me but this makes me mad because I really wanted to experience an authentic Philly cheesesteak. It's not steak. Period.
