Draft Room might have the best bar food in the city. He tried the fish sandwich and loved it, only said the skin was a lil tough but not enough to ruin it. My chicken sandwich was excellent, as are the sweet potato fries which a lot of places miss the mark on. Sometimes I get the sandwich blackened, but it's better fried, more moist. I also get peach habanero wings or the garlic parm ones and those are chef's kiss. The spinach and crab dip is outstanding! I recently moved to the area and have become a regular at the Draft Room already! I don't eat meat, so sports bars are not usually my kind of place. However there are so many options here for me. I wanted to like this place but a few things fell short. First the good, the draft beer menu was very decent. The waitress' were friendly but not overly efficient. The food could be really good. The negative. I got the Cobb salad and something smelled off. I thought it was the feta. It was the grilled chicken. First of all it was cold and wet. I believe it was frozen, defrosted. The rest of the salad was delicious and fresh. We expressed this to the waitress who said she would tell the manager Pam. No one ever came to the table to say anything. We ate brunch here because of the dog friendly patio area. It was a nice Sunday and we didn't want to leave our little girl home so we searched for dog friendly on Yelp and this was a close option. Our server was very sweet and kind. She brought some fresh water for our pup and was really nice to our kids too. The food was great. I ordered pancakes with a side of bacon and an over medium egg. A great thing about dining during their brunch was the fact that they leave all the menu choices available so we were able to order an appetizer of fried calamari too. Ridiculous. We went there thinking that we were going to watch a preseason football game and were greeted with a loud, really loud episode of bingo. We forgave them for the bingo but... The meals were subpar. Burgers were plain and tasteless, 5 of our 10 wings were flavorless. I ordered a cranberry and vanilla vodka drink and was not told it would be $15. That's fine but, when I ordered the second one it was much smaller than the first. I understand there are two different glasses but it was very obvious. When I asked the server about the difference she asked me if I tried to pour the second drink into the 1st cup. Really? I am truly unhappy about the service and ambience of this restaurant. First thing first, I would have given it five stars if our server had worn her mask like all other severs. You could see her having a mask but not wearing it properly. We pointed it out to another server, and the server who didn't wear mask properly came back, still not wearing it properly and now with a slight attitude. Food is pretty good. This place reminds me of World of Beer, but because it's locally owned, it does have a more intimate vibe. It's our first time here, but will definitely come back to give another try. I decided to give this place another chance. We called ahead to reserve an outdoor table. We had no issues upon arrival. The staff is wearing masks. I tried the Brussel sprouts appetizer and the lobster macaroni and cheese. The lobster Mac had HUGE chunks of full lobster claws! Both were amazing. My husband's burger looked great and was perfectly cooked. My friend wasn't thrilled about her chicken pasta. My other friend got the lobster roll and it was 100% more presentable than when I ordered them on my first visit, but he said the sauce was lacking. The prices are great. Service was great. The Draft Room at Berrwick was the place I was looking forward to visit because I saw the photo of New England Lobster Roll looked sooo yummy, but I couldn't find a chance to visit and try. Finally I got a free time to drive over, and I was actually sat in the restaurant bar. I brought my mom and aunty with me, so I had excuse to order more items and tried them all. Since my aunty is vegetarian, and I was really curious about the vegan burger, I ordered one for my aunty and shared half vegan burger from her dish. Mom and myself shared lobster roll and chicken wings. It was a weekday afternoon, seemed like there was only one server served the entire restaurant from bar to the dining area. We quickly ordered our food (see how prepared I was before stepped in to the restaurant!!!) However, it took us awhile to wait for the food to come. Food were in pretty good size, dining area was clean and food tasted good. The lobster roll was so delicious and fresh. I like the way they prepare the lobster, I didn't feel I was eating too much sauce/ mayo, instead, it was simple enough to let people tasted how fresh and sweet the lobster was. Texas thick bread didn't make me feel eating too much bread and ended up too full. The vegan burger was good and patty was solid with black beans, quinoa and seasonings. I just have little bit suggestions that because black bean patty can taste dry, therefore, if the greens can be romaine lettuce or butter lettuce, instead of spinach, maybe can balance the dryness of each bite. Also, thicker cut of tomatoes can help, too. Finally, I personally think dijon mustard or honey mustard probably can bring the flavor of the vegan patty. However, it depends on how popular vegan burger is selling in the restaurant. In this point, I do appreciate the owner consider to bring the vegan burger in a bar restaurant already. In the back of the bar, there is a pool table. You can play darts, too. I don't mind to come back in the future with friends. I highly recommend this place. read more

My date and I came in for a drink and an appetizer on the way to Savannah, upon entering there were two open seats at the bar, however the girl sitting next to one of the open seats had her keys pushed down as if they were saved. So we sat down at a high top table directly behind the bar. No one gave us menus, nor came over to take our drink order. After sitting there for well over 10 minutes, I finally walked up to the bar to place our drink orders with the not so friendly bartender. I also asked for menus, which she never gave me. My date and I drank our Bloody Mary's and decided to leave. We were there half an hour and no one so much as said hello and certainly didn't offer any service whatsoever. I would never take anyone here again. Thankfully my date and I have been together long enough that this experience will not be held against me. I've been several times within the past month. The service has always been good. They get busy but I've never been ignored or had bad service. I enjoy sitting at the bar and the bartenders are all great and friendly. The food has always been good. I recommend their Cuban sandwich, the cheese sticks are really good, and I enjoyed the crab and artichoke dip. They have trivia on Tuesday nights and the guy who runs trivia is fantastic - very nice and personable. This is a Boston sports bar in case anyone is looking for one like my dad was when he came to visit us. Anyways food was great. I had been told by friends that you cannot go wrong with anything here and that was true. Brussel sprouts, loaded Mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, and Philly cheesesteak is what we had. Wings did smell amazing. One thing about the max is I thought it would be heavy on the pulled pork and bbq sauce but it was more cheese than anything so if you like that kind of mac that's for you. Our server would disappear sometimes and not like she was attending other guests but really did not know where she was in order to get refills or the check. The chairs all have cushion on them unlike other sports bars I've been to, which will come in handy since they show UFC ppv events here. Where are my sports enthusiasts? Gather 'round. Let's have a family meeting. There are so many things I need to tell you about The Draft Room at Berwick (TDRAB)! Husband had a day off today, so I suggested TDRAB for lunch. I had heard that it opened not too long ago and all I knew of it was that it had beers and sports. Not my first choice in dining, but I'll take one for the team since he likes them. I'm always up to try something new anyway, so when I told Husband beer and sports, naturally, it wasn't so hard to twist his rubber arm haha. - Parking - Center lot. Located in the Berwick Plantation, same center as Kroger, but on the opposite end, closer to the Kroger Fuel Center. - Vibe - This is not the sports bar I was expecting! This is a bit more elevated, without being too pretentious. There are no shortage of TVs as the top of the walls are lined with flat screen TVs, showing all kinds of sports related shows. Hard to keep my two eyeballs on one screen! When you enter, the bar is to the right with that section filled with high top tables and high chairs. The left side is where the regular tables and chairs are. There is a large spacious area in the back with a pool table and dart boards. - TLC - We showed up about 15 mins after they opened and we were warmly greeted by Tara. She told us to choose where we wanted to sit and that she would follow us. I thought that was nice. My husband led us to a prime viewing spot closer to the middle. Tara was really nice and attentive. I asked her for some recommendations as I always like to ask the staff what their faves are, just out of curiosity. She made some good ones, but we had our hearts set on some things after reading the menu. - Noms & Sips - There is a little bit of everything on the menu, so I am sure everyone in your party from Foodie friend to your Uncle Charlie who eats only steak and potatoes can find something they like. 5 pc Chicken Wings, chose Mango Habañero sauce - Tara did recommend the wings and we are so glad we got the 5 pc to start. This is exactly the kind of wing we look for. The wing was a normal size, meaning they were not too tiny as if they came from a small spring chicken, but not too big like they were from chickens who were lying about being Turkeys, but a normal chicken with enough meat, not chewy or stringy. Just right! The skin was perfectly crispy all around, no rubbery skin in sight or taste. The meat was tender and juicy and the sauce was great! It was like a Buffalo Sauce in color and consistency, but with a nice kick and not too overwhelmingly spicy and it had a hint of curry? That's what I tasted. It was a little bit of sweet too, but not too much. Wings were YUM! Draft Room Signature Burger with Sweet Potato Fries - My husband went against Tara's recommendation of the Black and Blue Burger (although that's his go-to flavor, so that's probably next), but after seeing Whiskey Bacon Chutney and Beer Cheese, we lost him to that one. He ordered it medium and it was fantastic! Just a great, solid burger! I'm glad he got it too so I could taste it LOL. If he had gotten the Black and Blue, it would be a firm no on the Blue. Lobster Roll with Sweet Potato Fries - I was on a mission with this menu item as I had seen the picture of it. First, I was like Lobster Roll at a sports bar? Then I was like, everyone (thing) needs a shot, at least once. Priced at $19, I did not regret my decision. This is how I will be rolling from now on LOL! A very generous roll, with, I kid you not, at least 5 lobster claws that I could count just on the top. The split top bun (looks like hot dog bun) was toasted. The lobsters were on a nice bed of a couple of leaves of bright green, leafy lettuce. It provided that nice freshness and crunch with every bite. In hindsight, at the time, I did feel like it was lacking some sort of sauce but reading the menu now, looks like it was supposed to be "lightly dressed with mayo), because I swear I didn't taste any. At the time, I was contemplating whether I should ask Tara for some mayo, but I was content eating my roll just the way it was. So maybe they forgot, but whatever, the lobster was so good by itself anyway. We both opted for the Sweet Potato fries. I prefer a crunchy/crispy exterior, but these were still very good and they use that fancy flaky salt to season them. They were great. - Kids - Obviously, this trip was sans kids, but I did enquire about a Kids menu and they offer the standard items. See pic. Bathrooms are equipped with a changing table. - Heads Up - *I think they may be the only place around to show major sports events, more notably, the UFC fights! This is a huge plus! Husband was trying to find a place to go see the last UFC fight with his buddies but they couldn't find a place anywhere. Wish we had known sooner, but now we know. * Military discount offered here! While in Savannah we did takeout for a group and we were all super impressed with this place. I had a wonderful steak salad and roasted Brussels sprouts. All of it was tasty and delicious. They got all of our orders right and packaged it up neatly and nothing leaked. Some had BBQ, some had soup, others had a burger and no one complained! I've been surprised by how limited the seafood selection is in the city having come from Maine and Philadelphia. The lobster roll here showed up though. I got mine without the bun since I'm sensitive to gluten. I got about the same amount of meat as Alex with his traditional lobster roll. I thought the lobster tasted fresh, and there was a solid portion size (aaaaand that's coming from a Maine-ah). We both added truffle fries for an upcharge. The fries seemed hand cut but other than that there was nothing else special about them. They tasted pretty regular to us. It took some time to get the food though. It took about 40 minutes after ordering on a Saturday at 8. I also had no problem ordering off menu with a hot toddy. I had just came back from a trip and wanted a nice hot drink. I asked about the pictures on the walls because they were for New England teams (Celtics, Patriots). Our waitress said the owner was not from there, just liked the teams.
