My wife had to resort to a fork and knife because she couldn't get her mouth around the sándwich. I don't think the runny egg was her kind of thing. I had the Philly cheese steak. The meat was good but had a kind of ash sensation when you ate it. Music was loud but rockin. Country, Stones, you name it, they will play it. I want to come back for the feature burger. This was mine and my husband's go to spot when we lived in Richmond Hill, GA. The food is always amazing, the beer and drinks are always cold, and the service cannot be beat. It has the feel of a locals bar, but everyone is welcome and treated like family. I definitely suggest getting their wings, I have not been able to find wings as good as theirs at any other spot we've been to. My friend and I were on our way from New England to her home in Florida with her adorable dog (a cute rescue!). We were looking for great Southern style food in a relaxed setting on our way south on the highway near Savannah, and Flashback filled the bill. This is a small restaurant with pub seating indoors and a patio outside. I ordered the brisket sandwich with sweet sauce and coleslaw. It was all homemade and so good I couldn't stop eating, even though the sandwich was huge! The owner was close to closing when we arrived, but we had a warm welcome. She even sent us off with banana pudding--totally homemade and absolutely delicious! We ate on the patio. My friend's pup was welcome, too. Wow! I was blown away with the food I brought home the other day! I ordered the patty melt with tater tots, my boyfriend got the burger and onion rings,and we split the fried mushrooms with ranch! I was greeted upon entry and had great conversations and politeness from staff. Great service from Bailey and Nancy who both made my visit enjoyable. Sitting at the bar I asked for a beer, and shortly after I ordered wings and fries, which was checked on twice within 10 mins of ordering. Wings came out perfectly cooked, hot and order was without mistake. The beer glass never emptied before the second came. The service I noticed was very good which I take seriously. Good service makes a world of a difference in a dining experience. Overall if your looking for a place to stop, relax and enjoy a good meal, this would be a great place to do it. We were very hungry and wanted burgers so we stopped in here. At least the time of day we went it was a seat yourself situation (no sign). The burgers were pretty darn good. They can be pretty messy though. We didn't care for the fries, overcooked I think. The staff was great, she gets five stars. The place (floor) looked dirty but the table was clean and the bathroom was ok. It ended up being about $15 per person; despite the burgers being huge this seemed pricey. My fiance and I started frequenting this place, for date night, (dinner, drinks, sports TV and to shoot some pool) a cple months ago. I am familiar with the owners, Jimmy & Laura, from when they first started out, quite a few years ago...(SO HAPPY FOR THEM!). They are ALWAYS welcoming and do their best to greet and get to know all their patrons. The food is PHENOMINAL! Not ONE meal we disliked!!! We have had some GREAT and not so great experiences with the wait staff but, I NEED to mention that Morgan, Jenee, Amanda & Adrian are there to put a SMILE on your face, make you laugh & will take their time (if they have it - they stay BUSY!). This is a bar. I wouldn't classify this as a restaurant at all, and I wouldn't say it's family friendly, either. We attempted to eat last night. We walked in and stood at the door for a few minutes. There's a hostess stand, but no one standing there... so eventually we figured if we sat ourselves, someone would approach us. So, we sat. There were 4 long rows of tables so our family of 4 sat at the end of one of the rows. No menus on the table, so we sat and waited. No one came over or even acknowledged us. There were plenty of people at the bar, and a few other patrons at other tables. But no one looked at us.
