When we walked in, we saw signs saying that this was the 2nd best rated pizza in the US by trip advisor. Food looks good, and big portions are guaranteed. Now, sadly I must say, if this is the second best pizza in the US, we have fallen far. Don't get me wrong, is it good? Sure, is it in the top 10 pizzas I've ever had? Maybe and that's a stretch. We ordered 2 slices, and garlic balls. The put the slices into the oven, to reheat, took about 8 or 9 minutes, then served. For that and 2 drinks with tip about $43. Not overly impressed, especially for the price, it was good but not great.

That was the best part of our meal. It was delicious. We also ordered a white pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was very average, dough on the thicker side. The booths are from old church seating, not very comfy so I'd sit at a 4 top with chairs. We are going to come back and try other items on the menu especially since the meatballs were so good. I ordered two side dishes to enjoy as I had a bigger breakfast (I regret now because this is one of those places I wish I could've had the whole menu) I ended up with their Mac & cheese and their deviled eggs. Their Mac & cheese was absolutely delicious. The cheeses they used complemented themselves together beautifully. The crispy outside and the cheesy inside. I genuinely loved every moment of every single bite. The deviled eggs are a new experience I have never had before. They really add their own twist to them with blue cheese and I normally don't fancy a blue cheese but they absolutely knew what they were doing because it complemented the yolk so well. It was such a unique flavor I've never gotten to experience with deviled eggs. And I will never forget it! With everything said in done. I will mention or waitress forgot about us and never brought the sauce I asked for or checked in on us. We called ahead from the airport and had our order ready in about 30-40 minutes, which was a relief. However, the girl on the phone couldn't give my mother an exact time on when it'd be ready. Really? Her response was "I don't know" to how long two cheese pizzas would take... whatever. We kept it simple and ordered two large cheese pizzas because we wanted to judge the place based on its core products. The crust was thin but held its structure, and still folded easily in your hand the way a good slice should. The one thing I noted (and basically how all overpriced pizza places are) was that there was no seasoning on the crust at all. We're big fans of Domino's garlic crust, so that was a little disappointing. The sauce had a nice flavor to it, but nothing particularly memorable. I'll be honest though. I can't say for certain how much of our enjoyment was the pizza itself versus the fact that we were starving at that point. You should've heard my mom's comments about "I feel like my stomach is eating itself" lol. My mom gave it 2/5 stars and my brother gave it 3/5, so somewhere in that range feels about right to me. It's also not cheap for what you get, so just keep that in mind going in. That said, if you're nearby and need a straightforward pizza fix, it'll do the job.
