Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed. When we arrived there was an unsafe for use sign posted on doors.

As they were both FIVE STARS you'll be okay…read more Visit one: Last month I was feeling frisky ::meow:: after a work event at the courthouse and wasn't ready to go home. I literally said to myself as I drove around Somerville that I wish there was a wine or cocktail bar for...mature people like myself to chill at. So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. Once we figured that out, she got us some food to go and we ate here at home. Verdict: -excellent seating options - stools, couches, chairs -food is so so good. Tartare, truffle fries. Fig jam pizza -drinks include awesome bottles and seasonal takes on old favorites This could be my new spot.

The outside is unassuming but on the inside, it feels like a classy, upscale restaurant with a casual ambiance. On a Saturday evening, there were still several tables open inside and outside and seating at the bar. The drinks were amazing. My fave was the lychee martini. The food was also simple yet delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. The staff were busy but still polite and attentive.

Our waiter, Matt, was wonderfully kind and professional; attentive and knowledgeable, yet never hovering. He made sure every detail was just right. The porterhouse steak for two was perfectly prepared, and we also enjoyed a remarkable wine selection and some well-shaken martinis. From beginning to end, it was first-rate, and the night felt truly special. Fleming's in Montvale went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable, and we'll definitely be back.

I would give it 5 stars. Our waitress Swe, was delightful, kind, happy, described the dishes, gave suggestions, she is what you would expect from a waitress. Even the food runners were excellent, smiled and said hello when they approached the table. The service was definitely 5 star. The Food, presentation was excellent. The flavors, just weren't there. We started with these beautiful onion rings which were house made. Big, beautiful and fried to a crisp golden perfection, yet taste, there was none. absolutely nothing. the most boring onion ring ever. Then the wedge salad, chopped and soggy. If your going to reinvent a classic salad, it better be good. I had the seared yellow fin tuna, again what happen to the flavor. it had a carrot ginger puree, that was more for color than flavor. the best part was the arugula pickled onions and tomatoes that came on the plate. My dinner partner had 16 oz prime dry age rib eye, which he did not enjoy. I am not a meat eater but tastes it and was not impressed. this steak was so thin. they took 16oz and spread it across the entire plate, taking away the true essences of a steak. I was pretty disappointed in the food but the cocktails were very good as well as their wine-selection. I beautiful place with great staff, which i would go back maybe just for happy hour. One other disappointment is with being such an nice steakhouse and all of the staff dressed and all so professional why isn't there any type os dressed code. Why are they allowing people to dine in sweatpants and messy t shirts. They should have a requirement. most diners were dressed so nice but allowing sweat pants. my two star rating is based solely on the flavor of the food.

Sangria's has been a go-to for us for years for good tapas and sangria, but we've now had issues on…read moreour last two visits, and this most recent one was especially frustrating. The food is still great. We had scallops, chorizo, brussels sprouts, and a flounder ceviche special. Everything was delicious. The ceviche in particular stood out -- fresh, well-portioned, and nicely "cooked" in lime juice. The sangria is still a highlight too. A big carafe, no ice watering it down, served with glasses full of fruit. The problem is the service. They had two servers and one bus person, and it showed. Everyone seemed to be scrambling, and it was hard to get a moment of attention to ask for anything or even be heard. Our food came out in pieces -- three items, then a long delay, then another. The last dish, calamari, never came. When I tried to tell the waiter we didn't want it anymore if it was forgotten, he didn't listen and insisted on bringing it anyway. We ended up waiting even longer, which just made the experience more frustrating. To top it off, they're now adding an operating/service fee (around 3-4%), which wasn't clearly communicated and just showed up on the bill. It's disappointing because the food is still very good, but the service issues -- and now the added fees -- are taking away from the experience. After this visit, we'll think twice before coming back.

The Filet Mignon Crostini, a special on the menu, was fantastic! Each of our entrees was perfectly prepared and delicious. Desserts were also wonderful. The service at Savini is always exceptional, as it was last evening. This is my favorite restaurant, especially if we have a special occasion to celebrate! Grateful!!!

They have a way of making a special night feel even more significant, balancing professional excellence with genuine warmth. They even made a personalized Specials Menu for the celebration! And the food? It's consistently fantastic. We started with a spread of appetizers that set the bar high: the Stuffed Figs and Meatball specials were standout hits, and you can't go wrong with their perfectly crisp Caesar Salad or the Escargot Scampi in that delicious puff pastry. For the main course, the Filet Mignon Oscar and Veal Imperial specials were prepared to perfection - decadent and incredibly fresh. The Cacio e Pepe was authentic and flavorful, and the Capellini special was light, but OH SO satisfying. They topped off the night with a beautiful birthday surprise -- Crème Brûlée (complete with a "Happy Birthday" chocolate sign and candle!) along with the Mixed Berries with Biscotti (can't go wrong with perfection!). Thank you to the entire team at Savini's for making my 40th Birthday Extravaganza so memorable. Whether it's a casual dinner or a life milestone, this place remains our "steady ground" and our favorite tradition. Can't wait for the next visit!
