Garbanzos

Sangria Tapas Restaurant is hands down one of my favorite spots. Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was perfect. The staff went above and beyond -- truly some of the best service I've ever had! I tried the garbanzos tapas and the mixta salad, and both were incredible. So flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell they really care about the details here. Whether you're coming for a casual night out or a special dinner, this place never misses. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes

We had a reservation for 6 people. One in our party had to catch a flight after the meal. I informed the staff and they were prompt, accommodating and attentive. Most of the food was delicious although the bread was inedible. Some of my party had sangria & said it was good. The prices were commensurate with Tapas restaurants. The restaurant was fairly empty during our meal so noise was Never a problem. Parking is no problem as there is a lot.

Mariscada was amazing with a rich spinach cilantro sauce

Mariscada was exceptional. A rich spinach and cilantro sauce with a generous selection of fresh delicious calamari, clams, mussels, scallops, and mushrooms!!!

Wow!!! I love Spanish food & this was amazing! Small little family run restaurant in Mahwah, NJ. The atmosphere feels like you are dining in a family home. Service was top notch & the food had so much flavor! I'm looking forward to when i can return.

Churros

So good! We were passing through town, looking for a spot for dinner, and so glad we happened upon this place. Ordered family style to try as many dishes as we could. Highlights were the octopus, which was cooked perfectly and super tender, patatas bravas, and churrasco, but the absolute star was the gambas al ajillo. The shrimp were delicious, and I could've drank a quart of the sauce, it was so good! I definitely recommend adding an order of churros for dessert--it comes with a chocolate dipping sauce that's so decadent and rich. The staff was great, and there ended up being three birthday celebrations during our dinner, so seems to be popular for celebrations!

If you go here for any reason just go for the Sangria flight. Sangria is my fav drink and I've never seen a flight. Such a great idea. I liked the blood orange so much that I ordered a full sized drink. The food was amazing as well. I got the Shrimp, garlic, sherry wine sauce, grilled bread which was sooo good. The portions were a lot so I had leftovers for lunch. My better half had the paella and it was packed with seafood. He said it was the best paella he's ever had. We will be back !

Churrasquito

Went for the first time with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day dinner. Reservation was for two and was super easy to get a few days ahead of time on Yelp. We ordered the Croquetas de Jamón, Patatas Bravas, Churrasquito, and Calamares Frito, along with a Sangria Flight and later a Sangria Glass (white peach). The total for our order was 81 before tax and tip. The serving sizes were large, and we ended up taking half the Croquetas, Patatas Bravas, and a third of the Calamares frito home (we ate as part of lunch the next day: they reheated in the oven just fine). Of the four Tapas we ordered, the Churrasquito was definitely our favorite. The taste and texture were both perfect and the serving size was great. My girlfriend preferred the Calamares Frito more while I preferred the Croquetas, and we both really liked the Patatas Bravas. The aioli sauce that came with a lot of the food was pretty good too. The Sangria Flight and white peach Sangria were great. This was my girlfriend and I's first time trying Sangria and the flight was a great way to sample different flavors. We both fell in love with the white peach sangria and decided to order a glass to share. The service was perfect: the waiters were friendly, attentive, and helpful with questions, and the food arrived quickly. There is restroom access and we were provided with plenty of water, along with metal utensils wrapped in a large black napkin. The Tapas were served in small plates and we ate straight from them but we were also given our own empty plates. The ambiance was also really nice. There's a bar with TVs playing sports for those interested in a quicker, more casual experience. We were seated at a table along the wall opposite the bar. The vibe of the restaurant was very pleasant and I am very happy with my choice for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner. I will definitely be returning again in the future to try more Tapas and have more amazing experiences!

At first glance, this restaurant at a strip mall doesn't look like much, but it's quite lovely inside. There is beautiful artwork, nice decor, and inviting ambiance. I had a hard time deciding what to order, but finally went with the Double Pork Chop, served with green zucchini and yellow squash, along with manchego mashed potatoes. This was pretty good, and the pork chop was full of great flavor, but was on the tough side and somewhat dry. The veggies were cooked nicely and fresh. I enjoyed the creamy soft mashed potatoes, as the manchego cheese really shined though. In addition, I got to try the Pan seared fish filet, which came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. This was presented beautifully with a generous portion of the white fish. The fish was flaky, succulent, and well seasoned. Brussel sprouts were tasty, but mashed potatoes were bland to me. For dessert, I got the Chocolate Molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream. I was disappointed by this because the size was tiny, and there wasn't enough melting chocolate in the center. I actually preferred my friend's Bread Pudding, which was made with apples, oranges, walnuts, warm caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream. It was unique, but the ingredients worked well together. The vanilla ice cream was a boring addition. Service was decent. The prices were a little high. I don't think I would return even if I'm in the area.

Out for our anniversary. We didn't want anything over the top, just something quality and satisfying. We sat at a Hightower by the bar. Our server was friendly & quick. We ordered a few tapas and some beers. The restaurant was as always busy and loud. Many voices having a good time, but noylt overwhelming that you had to yell at your tablemate or strain yourself to hear them. The food , beautifully plated and always delicious. The beer, alittle upset that 3 of the 6 imported beers were unavailable , but the 1906 paired well with all the tapas. We enjoyed our meal and anniversary date night. A great place for a special night out. The food never disappoints.

My Aunt suggested we come for dinner and I wasn't disappointed. The ambiance was whimsical. Great music just the right amount of people not to full. I started with a Cellini which was like a peach Bellini and was delicious. We then had the bread with Olive oil. I had the skirt steak with roasted Brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. The steak was medium well and grilled just right. Many times establishments don't get medium well right but they got it perfect. It was delicious and savory. The seasoned complimented the skirt steak. The Brussel sprouts were delish as were the potatoes. They were roasted hard just to perfection I'll be back.

Delicious chocolate lava cake dessert

Wonderful dinner with amazing service at this great Mahwah spot! If you don't live in the area, it is well worth the trip. Ample parking and great for groups! We started out with the delicious tostones and fried calamari. Both were crispy and hot. We each had a garlic chicken entree that was outstanding. We also got dessert, even though we were stuffed. Can't resist a chocolate cake with ice cream. They have a liquor license and full bar! Their name sake beverage was wonderfully constructed but just be careful because it sneaks up on you. Great service, food and ambiance. Will be back soon and often.

Sangria sampler

Everything was delish. For appetizer I got the tostones with chorizo, super delish. I got their sangria sampler, the passion fruit was my favorite though all were good. For my meal I ordered the Paella it's enough for two or three people. To go I took the chuscaritto ? Skirt steak with potatoes, I had a taste and also delish. The service was great. The food came in pretty fast. The waitress was so sweet and nice.

Great food in a rustic setting. A bit noisy, but I'll be back. Definitely go for the paella!

We loved sharing the (large size) charcuterie! * Beautiful ambience & perfect mood lighting! * Great music choices - heard in the BACKGROUND and not overbearing. Hard to drink honestly. None of the notes mentioned in the menu came forward in the actual drink itself. The Asian chicken potstickers were ok. The guac was terrible, it didn't even taste like avocado and had not one bit of flavor. The presentation was nice but the actual taste of just about everything was horrible. Only reason we ate/drank our drinks was to not waste our money since everything was so expensive. Our server was nice. Hopefully they get a mixologist and experiment with some better tasting drinks along with the food.

We visited Fleming's for a work happy hour. It wasn't our first time there and everyone likes it…read more Their Social Hour menu is a pretty good deal. Some cocktails have special pricing and they also offer bar bites at decent prices. The food was awesome this last visit. With our cocktails, we scarfed down the steak sliders, chicken sliders, Korean chicken bites, meatballs, chips and dip, plus some shrimp. All of the food was outstanding. The steak sliders were juicy and had pink in the middle, which is tricky to achieve with sliders. The Korean chicken bites are sooo good and loved by everyone. Really, nothing was bad. Cocktails were all great too, including my $9 Olive A Martini's. Someone had an espresso martini and couldn't stop talking about it... even the next day. Our server was also the bartender and did a great job tending to us, even while we were all seated at the outdoor tables. We'll definitely be back again!

We started coming to Fleming's early into the summer and our first thought was, "Why did it take so…read morelong to come here?!" We don't typically go to chain restaurants, so weren't sure what to expect, but are SO glad we didn't let snobby preconceived notions get in the way of what's become a regular Saturday spot. First, the space is gorgeous - so many windows so it's incredibly bright with a separate bar and dining area. We are bar people, so gravitate towards the huge bar - and a plus of Fleming's is that all of the area around the bar (tables/high tops) plus the huge outdoor space gets bar service and access to the bar menu/happy hour. Okay - the happy hour!!! It's EVERY day from 3-6:30 PM with some of the best deals I've ever seen. They have select $9 specialty cocktails (a tequila based one, take on an old fashioned, variation of a G&T, and a dirty martini), $9 glasses of wine, and deals on small bites. The menu is also constantly rotating by the season with some mainstays and things that have changed out. Regardless, it is an absolute deal. A great happy hour and small plates is obviously a huge draw, but what keeps us coming back to Fleming's is the people. From the moment you arrive, there's someone to open the door for you and greet you at the front without fail. The bartenders are incredible - friendly, attentive, great at making drinks for what becomes a PACKED bar, conversational. We genuinely love sitting at the bar and chatting with the team (sometimes for too long, sorry guys!). All in all, Fleming's will continue to be a regular spot, not just for the value of the social hour (and just all around great food and drinks when you step outside of that more limited menu), but mainly for the incredible staff and the feeling of appreciation you get as a guest at Fleming's.

Currently the decor isn't great but the friendly owner Raj said he would be updating the place over the next few months. We had boneless wings, mutton, samosas, and another chicken appetizer. All of the starters were excellent, perfect mild to medium spice level. Our entrees included lamb, mutton biryani, and a chickpea dish. The biryani was a ton of food and the chickpea texture was awesome. We also had butter naan and I added a tasty mango lassi.
