Ambiance was sophisticated and lends itself to intimate conversations. Service was great. The wine and champagne selection was pretty good.

I have visited Skylands several times now and have enjoyed the overall experience. Skylands has the…read morefeel of a country brewery. But since they don't brew anything I guess they would be categorized as a tap house. They offer a nice variety of mainly local beers. They also have a relatively small menu of food items. I have tried several different things. Nothing to really rave about. But nothing to complain about either. All in all pretty decent fare. With that said the real draw here is the property. A country setting strewn with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. Making it a very nice place to hang for a while. Especially, that they often have live entertainment. I'm a biker and this makes a great destination or pit stop. I will return to Skylands for sure.

First of all, the beer flights are only $7, the downside is all beer is served in plastic cups, but the pours are nice size. They do have wine but nothing that this wine snob wanted, lol. The kitchen offers something for everyone. I had the hot Italian panini, my husband the pepperoni pizza, zero complaints. Big bonus there's was music on Sunday! Nice gentleman singing not your ordinary songs, like Eleanor Ribgy! Very cool. 2nd Bonus. There's specific parking spots for motorcycles. So we will definitely be back on our scoot with some friends, scenic route from home is no highway. Nice outdoor seating and ice cream for kids, bring the whole fam, no dogs tho.

Once there the vibe feels rustic, historic, little speakeasy vibes. Service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable about all the different wines available. The charcuterie grazing board was every and any thing you could possibly want, at least we thought so. Sooooo good!! The dippy duet of the tapenade and pistachio cream dip thing (sorry forgot the name) delicious. We ordered an entree to share and everyone raved about the lamb chops. Safe to say we'll be back. There is a parking lot across the street. Hard to see any signs on where you have to pay but it's not free.

We arrived as soon as they opened and were some of the first there. The bar tender greeted us and we took our seats. He came over immediately and went through the entire menu with us. I ordered wine from their very large selection and my husband ordered a stout. They were out of his order so the bar tender brought over three similar options and explained them all. My husband picked one of the recommendations and it was a great beer. My wine was delicious. We ordered the Brie , burger, and my husband ordered their lomo. Everything was great truly. We just took our time and really enjoyed the space which was very cozy and relaxing. The best thing is going to a restaurant where wine and beer are their main focus and talking with staff that is enthusiastic about their products. Our waiter was great and we're sad we didn't get his name but he made the experience ten times better with his knowledge of wines and beers. We plan on returning very soon!!
