My husband and I came here for date night. There are a couple of cons/ pros that didn't really sit with me and with us. Pros: The inside of the restaurant was very rustic and looked very cozy The waiter was very nice & explained a lot of items on the menu which was great to get The app was very delicious The entrees was very good Cons: The host placed us near the door where there was a heater - it was a bit cold The desserts we had were good but the crisp that I received was very hard and a bit on the chewy side which I didn't care for. I forgot to mention how amazingly attentive my waitress was, recommending a really great drink (Raspberry Lemon drop Martini) and to who I believe might have been the owner, was literally serving and bussing tables!!! Really at home type of comforting place that makes you feel welcome and safe! He was extremely customer service oriented and it shows in their staff how respectable this establishment is... but I somehow already knew that since the place was packed when I walked in! Stopped in last night for dinner to celebrate my sons (twins) 25th birthday. We were seated right next away. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and served in generous portions. One son had lobster bisque and tuna. The other son had the pork chop. My husband had a salad and lobster ravioli. I had the filet mignon. My wife and my self had the worst dinner experience at the Copper Bottom. It all started with the beer selection. After realizing they failed any good beers on tap I tried to get something in a bottle. That was not any better. We both had the pork shank which seemed to been roasted in a bottle of vinegar. We sucked it up and ate it anyway. We eaten there before and was satisfied but we'll be heading to Barrel 28 in town in the future. read more

Top-notch service - excellent food! Not sure why it took us so long to try this restaurant out. Perhaps the somewhat lacking curb appeal, but don't let that fool you. Nice place but cold inside, I had the Cajun salmon which was not spicy at all, the salad was good, my espresso was ok ( no lemon wedge) my friend had the stuffed shrimp and he said it was just ok. Was on the way back from dropping off my son at a summer camp and decided to look for a local watering hole and luckily ended at Copper Bottom. Nice cozy clean bar and restaurant with attentive and alert staff. The young barista Luc was mannered and well trained. The owner Shelley was accommodating and not over the top. Friendly but not suffocating. The food was fresh and tasty. Moscow Mule was perfect for the hot summer day. Quenched all my thirst and then some. This place is strongly recommended! read more

I got the Copper Bottom Sandwich with potato salad. The sandwich is huge...chicken cutlet, pesto mayo, mozzarella, roasted red pepper on toasted italian bread. Potato salad was delicious! All of it was so good!! My husband got the Gouda ham and cheese sandwich with fries. His sandwich was huge too and he loved it! Ham, gouda cheese, grilled onions on toasted bread. Second time here! First time it was so packed I just left. This time I came around 4:30 for dinner. This place is very nice inside. It's very clean. People are real nice and friendly. The food was great! We had a B&B hickory burger and a classic Caesar salad with chicken. Fried calamari as appetizer. The food was very very good. My burger was incredible!! Ate here recently for dinner. We arrived and were seated right away by waitstaff. The inside looks like a nice pub/restaurant. The waitress came over and took out drink order quickly. we were served bread rolls and flat breadsticks which was good. The french onion soup looked delicious and my companion confirmed it. I ordered the salmon with dill sauce and thought it was good. The baby back ribs looked great and that was confirmed by my companion as well. The waitstaff was very good, checked on us often. The server/runner was always around to take our plates and deliver our food. I noticed when patrons left the waitstaff cleaned the tables quickly as well. The food here is very good, the service excellent and the place seems like it is run very well. Good food and I will certainly be back. The only thing I did not like was the parking lot was a mess. This is not really the fault of the restaurant, just mentioning it was a little bit of a hassle. I recommend this place. read more

Ordered water. It came with ice cubes half melted and tiny green things floating on top. Looked like little bits of lettuce. Had chicken Caesar salad. Lettuce ok. Cheese was grated as from a can, not fresh shaved as it's supposed to be. Croutons tiny cubes like from a box for stuffing mix. Chicken was dry and definitely not fresh. Service was mediocre at best. When I asked for the basket of bread, I was informed they do not serve bread and crackers at lunch. When my friend asked her to please just bring some crackers to go with her salad, the crackers she brought were stale. Busboy was friendly and helpful. I'm not a particularly fussy customer, but this was just awful. On the positive side, they have a great selection of beer and a decent bar. read more

I'm not from NY but I work with Goshen PD and they recommended this spot to me. Tried it out last night after soccer practice and immediately greeted by a young gentleman. All staff were very prompt, nice, attentive, and courteous. Our waiter even used social distancing even though we had on masks. He was amazing! Best service I've had here in NY. I appreciate that considering we had our son with us. Fantastic customer service. Food was amazing as well and very affordable. My spouse whom is from NY couldn't believe our bill was only $35. I have been coming here since I was young whenever I was in the area for their penne vodka. The last 2 times I have been here it has not been good but tonight was the absolute worst!!! The only good part was our waitress!! She was super nice and understanding! My mom ordered a portobello mushroom salad and I ordered penne ala vodka, our friend ordered a Ruben sandwich... my penne vodka was not penne vodka. I knew right when they put it in front of me it was red sauce. Tasted like Ragu. It was absolutely terrible!!! My moms salad was rotten. She ate everything but the lettuce portion (she said except for that it was good) my friends Ruben was good except it didn't have sauerkraut on it and her lettuce was also rotten. I ordered a cheese burger instead with onion rings which was good but the onion rings were a little under cooked but I still ate them cause I was still hungry! Not sure what the problem was tonight but we were extremely disappointed in the food! Hopefully next time if we eat there it'll be much better and I can update my review to 5 stars like it used to be when I was younger! read more

Coming here was just an okay experience. We got here around 2:45 and ordered off their brunch menu, which goes until 3. The server seemed annoyed we were ordering off the brunch menu, although I'm not sure why. Overall throughout our lunch she was not very friendly and seemed like she did not want to be there. I think we interrupted her lunch because when we went to the bathroom she was sitting to the side of the restaurant eating. Pretty unprofessional. I went with the breakfast pizza, which comes with a free mimosa (all brunch items do). It came with a salad on the side. The side salad was actually pretty good, but the pizza reminded me of one of those frozen ones you cook in the microwave. It wasn't horrible, but far from the quality you expect at a restaurant. I'd be open to giving the food another shot if the service was better, but sadly we will most likely not be back. read more
