Pumpkin martinis
Shannon T.

Dinned here with parents while visiting the area. Easy, free street Parking right outside. We were seated at the window. Staff was friendly and helpful. Started with the seasonal Pumpkin martini cocktail, which was DELICIOUS! Might be better to order after meal unless you like to eat desserts first. Then ordered the rib eye, which was good. The hamburger was on the dry side. The cobb salad was a good size and prepared well. But the winner was the super yummy pumpkin cheesecake!

Buffalo Chicken salad. I asked for no tomatoes or celery, add onion. It was yummy

Kelley Jeans is a family friendly place. Nice staff, drinks and food. I wouldn't say their food is amazing but it's a go to for a quick dinner out.

Cobb salad, wings, Caesar wrap

Food was pretty good. Flavorful chicken wings. A good number of pieces. Cobb salad full of flavor from Gorgonzola, bacon bits, chicken, and two cherry tomatoes over some lettuce. Caesar wrap was solid, nothing crazy. Came with like 10 fries and a pickle. This place has good food. But I've got to give you 3 stars cus you gave me food without any utensils, any napkins. I mean do you expect me to eat a salad with my hands? Should I wipe my mouth with my sleeve? Luckily the front desk at our hotel had some utensils to spare.

"May the road rise up to meet you/ May the wind be always at your back/ May the sun shine warm upon you face..." St. Patrick's Day 2019 I was finally not alone on this festive holiday. I was surround in a positive environment of positive people, finally. Food is the international unspoken common language as humans we need to eat to survive. With good friends I had the pleasure of meeting a very welcoming local family and were immerse in good quality authentic Irish cuisine. Friends meeting friends. The daily special for St. Patrick's Day was a separate menu as well as their drink menu, but do not contain the price listing. Shepherds Pie with beef $17 This is my entree which was served piping hot and very filling. Bangers & Mash for two Irish sausages with mashed potato and gravy appeared flavorful, but I never really had a strong liking for mashed potato. Irish Nachos entree is mammoth in portion size as the waffle fries are enormous covered with melted cheddar cheese, corned beef and chopped green onions. Corned beef & cabbage dinner appeared too much cabbage involved which overpowers the beef and the red potatoes were refreshing, but the carrots were very minimal. Irish Soda bread was ordered, oddly, tasted somewhat sweet but traditionally is not intended to be sweet. Customer service is attentive to our party of seven to constantly fulfill our drink orders. Kelley Jean's Restaurant is a very casual and phlegmatic disposition atmosphere where the wait staff do not rush patrons to exit nor do they aggressively push to order more food or drink to increase the total of your bill. My red wine of Syrah was paired well with Shepherds Pie, but I was hoping for either Sangiovese or Chianti. Children's meal selection is also available. Happy Hour is available during the week (no weekends). "The jacks" or restroom facilities are not overall clean as one stall was contain detritus strewn all over the floor and was completely out of toilet paper. The supply of hand soap was low as the staff does not conduct routine checks for amenities and cleanliness especially on a busy evening. I was hoping for live traditional Irish entertainment of music with Irish uilleann bagpipes complete dressed in traditional kilt for an authentic look. Thankfully no boisterously loud music was playing in the background as Kelley Jean's is conducive for conversation without patrons shouting across the table. Multiple TV screen playing variation of sports are blasted on all TV's as this holiday gather families and friends together in unity for good food, drink and each other's presence. Soft Irish Celtic music was playing in the background, but I was hoping to hear "Be Thou My Vision," an Irish hymn. Business cards are available for keepsake. Nevertheless, it was grand stretch.

High ceilings and privacy deciders. The best environmental situation for comfortable leisure

Oak & Reed - Chicken & Waffles

I've always loved Oak & Reed for dinner and brunch but now trying them for breakfast new love…read moreunlocked. The breakfast was simple but then of course Oak & Reed throws in their flair. The eggs were perfectly cooked soft and buttery. And the sour dough toast with that perfect sour dough tang was the perfect edition. Even the coffee in the French press takes the coffee to another level. But talking about Oak & Reed flair the signature waffle was possibly one of the best things I have eaten. The waffle with that pearl sugar is the way a waffle should be made but then they have that waffle filled with Dutch caramel and that mascarpone on top is perfect. The tang, sweetness, butteriness, the crisp yet fluffy waffle it all was an equation for an amazing breakfast item. I could eat that every time I go. Truly amazing. The staff in Oak & Reed is always amazing attentive and kind. Live the open kitchen concept. Especially with my two year old currently in a Ratatouille kick so she wanted to see the chefs while she looked for Remy cooking. All in all Oak & Reed never disappoints.

Unfortunately I have to say this place was just meh!…read more This is one of my friends favorite restaurant, she even wanted to have them cater her wedding. So I was excited when we finally got a chance to try it. And here is where it may have been my fault, maybe I hyped it up too much. So the funny thing when we arrived at the restaurant and I saw another friend. She told me it was her first time and it wasn't good (this was a warning!) she said especially the chicken and waffles. So again maybe it's my fault because I didn't listen. My heart was set on the chicken and waffles and she was right. It was not good. Like how do you mess up chicken and waffles? It was lacking all types of flavor. It was bad. Why 3 stars than? Because their Spicy Pork Congee was amazing! It's an Asian rice dish and everything that lacked flavor in the chicken and waffles was made up in this dish. The problem? This is only an appetizer. It needs to be an entree, which would mean making it a larger portion. It was fantastic! They also had a decent beer selection which we got. The inside of the restaurant is cute. It has so much potential I just think maybe a revamp of the recipes. But maybe another dish would be good. We came for brunch so I don't know how their dinner menu is. I will probably give them another chance because how amazing the congee was I know they have potential to be great.
