One employee abruptly directed us to another woman who was sitting and folding napkins. Without even getting up to greet us, she spoke to us from her seat in an unwelcoming and dismissive manner. When we asked about banquet and event options, rather than taking a moment to explain or answer basic questions, we were simply told to look at the website. For a business that should be trying to attract event bookings, that level of customer service was disappointing and came across as uninterested and unhelpful. First impressions matter, especially when potential customers are considering hosting an event. A warm greeting and professional interaction would have gone a long way. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Additionally, management should consider addressing the front entrance door, which was difficult to navigate and gave an overall poor first impression. Attention to basic maintenance, along with improved customer service training, would significantly enhance the guest experience. Unfortunately, based on this interaction, we chose not to stay for drinks, appetizers, or pursue hosting our event there. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests receive a more welcoming experience.
