I stopped in for a black iced coffee to go. It was above average. A bit of a berry flavor, which probably means it was a blend with some African beans. They also have food. There were a decent number of people eating there. Service was good. Four Stars
I discovered this spot while out running errands in Middletown. The inside is so rustic and comfy. The waitress was so lovely and helpful and my food came out fast. The Brioche French Toast is my top fav, stuffed with bananas and pecans, there is enough to take home!
With a bill of over 218 and a 20% tip on top of that we were six NYPD retired officers looking for a quick bite and and to cut a small cake for one of the officers we were told that we would have to pay additional money to cut a cake that we provided they told us we couldn't I asked for small aluminum foil so each officer could take home a piece of cake again I was told that could not be accommodated we will no longer be using your place for any of our meetings and we will be passing the information to our fellow law enforcement officers I do not recommend coming here the food wasn't great the quiche was burnt and my Cuban sandwich was nothing more than a barbecued ham sandwich
In Middletown area again looking for a decent breakfast and of course went to Copperbarn. Tasty coffees, i had a chai latte with almond milk, yum!! We dreamed of egg/turkey bacon sandwiches on gluten free toast, and they made them for us! Food takes a while to come out but it's always fresh! Kind folks!
15/10 !!! Great Service, Great food!!! We were indecisive on what we wanted to eat and the waitress gave the daily specials super fast! My husband chose the today's catch of artic char (?) with veggies and cous cous and i chose the fediccini and alfredo. when i tell you the love and quality put in that food, it makes me wanna cry
Came here for brunch on Saturday & utterly in love with this place. Quick & attentive & utterly delicious food. Never felt rushed & plenty of traffic coming & going. Can't wait to return...
Always love my visit here. The staff are extra helpful, friendly and you can expect great service. The ambiance is a cute cafe with indoor and patio seating which was perfect on this day of dining. We decided to split the 5 layer crab dip and then got the Cobb salad and fish tacos with their lemonade. The lemonade was phenomenal. You could tell it's fresh made. No artifical flavor. One of main reason why I like this place. The dip was filling and had multiple layers of flavor. My sister especially like their chips that came with the dip. The food came and overall the salad was tasty. I liked my tacos but wished it had more seasoning. To me it's was on the bland side. I would say this is not one of my favorites. Probably have to come back here again on the weekend for their brunch. Overall, a great spot to chat up with a friend, small get together or a self date.
Service was excellent the waitresses here are so friendly and polite, explained all specials like pros when asked. Plus despite them have largely decreased business because of the annoying road work basically blocking people from getting to them, they remained positive. For the food, I loved the seven layer dip, only thing I wish was for more crab since all the other layers were pretty generous, plus actual fresh made tortilla chips, I don't even get those in a Mexican restaurant must less a bar/cafe restaurant. Blackberry basil lemonade was awesome, not too sweet or water-downed. For surf and turf burger, the patty was cooked perfectly to medium and well seasoned, the shrimp patty I could say really could not taste the shrimp, it was very herbal. Other than that a pretty good burger. Caesar salad was great, well dressed and fresh tasting. Honestly part of me liked the salad more than burger, since I did fully finish it. It was worth the maze of side streets to reach them.
Came for lunch on a Friday (no wait for the three of us) and had a great meal here. California club with Caesar salad was really good. Definitely one of the best options for lunch in the area!
Traveling for work, you tend to miss being home. I walked into this place for the first time and it felt very familiar like home. Greeted and welcomed by Jen was just the beginning of a wonderful dining experience. The food, the service, and the overall ambiance of the place was fantastic! I can't wait until I'm in town again to come back.
We came in on a Wednesday around 11:15 looking for coffee - and not a Dunkin'/starbucks-while our car was at Sam's club getting new tires. This restaurant is very classy with a nice bar area and cute tables throughout even a mezzanine area with a few tables. It has large selection of coffee....and food. (Wine and beer available too). Our server was very kind, friendly and helpful. We ordered a latte and cappuccino with a bagel and English muffin. The coffees....luscious! Bagel/English muffin...they were good too!!
Me and my wife had been in the area and searched Local breakfast places and this place came up. Food was amazing. We had been recommended this chicken BLT and it was incredible! Kelly the host/server was so kind and well informed of all the goodies on the menu! Hands down I'll be back here.
This is such a wonderful spot-I only wish I lived closer! The brunch food was great (lightest blueberry ricotta panacakes & delish Copperbarn Omelette) and the DRINKS are amazing! We had a Bellini flight, homemade chai tea & a great latte, not to mention they have homemade iced tea & lemonade. Our waitress was also fantastic-be sure to ask for suggestions! Loved the super cute Easter tree!!

My husband and I stopped by for brunch and had a great experience. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a nice bar area, a clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of parking. I ordered the enchiladas. They were a little sweeter than I expected, but still enjoyable overall. My husband had the Barn BLT, and he absolutely loved it. We also ordered drinks--I had the Pom-Amore cocktail, which was refreshing and delicious, and my husband had a cider. They have a huge drink menu with plenty of options, plus daily specials, which gives you a great reason to come back and try something new. Overall, it was a very enjoyable brunch experience with good food, great drinks, and welcoming service. We'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu and take advantage of their specials! read more

I feel very mixed about writing this review! First the ambiance- it's a rustic barn feel. It was fine nothing to complain about and the bathroom was clean. Next the service- it was extremely slow. Like super slow but I will say the staff was very nice and it seemed like our waitress was waiting on many tables by herself so I wasn't mad about how slow it was. But it should be noted. Now the Drinks. I truly don't know how I feel! My friend and I both ordered drinks. She ordered the Pom-Amore which is supposed to have fresh pomegranates in it and an edible flower as a garnish per the description. It had neither! She did have cranberries in it, maybe they ran out? I personally don't like that, they should have informed her they didn't have the right garnishes what if she was allergic? I had the cranberry limoncello which was supposed to have cranberries in it and it had none, hilarious I know! On top of that my glass was dirty had something caked on the inside the glass (like my straw wouldn't move it off) so they had to remake it. But it did taste very good. Lastly the food- My friend ordered the burger she said it was very greasy, I didn't try it so I'm not sure. She had the hand cut fries with it and I did try them and they were delicious! The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. However, they were delicious! It came with this spicy sauce that was so good. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. Again, the waitress was extremely nice so of course I still tipped 20%! read more
So my boyfriend and I have been dying to stop by this place. And we finally did this past weekend. And boy did it not disappoint! It's a cafe/ restaurant type. The food was so delicious and yummy in our tummies and the dessert was fabulous. They also make a lot of things their brand, which was really nice. The staff and service were great. It's a very cozy, rustic atmosphere which we both loved. Pricing was reasonable. And we are already planning our next trip there. I think we're going to try brunch since we did the dinner. Can't wait to go back. read more

Copperbarn... the place I wish I loved more than I do. Being Vegan and GF is pretty tough but a LOT of Hudson Valley restaurants cater highly to vegan and especially up and coming on gluten free. But not the barn .. teas and coffees are easy - oat milk. But the menu is mostly carnivorous. I'd love to see a homemade veggie burger added to the menu, they are very creative in that kitchen. The sweet potato fries I wanted to love because they're hand cut, but some were barely cooked, there was also no crunch or crisp. I will never stop coming here. I do like this place and everyone in it. read more

The atmosphere is nice. I don't drink coffee, but if u like the smell of it then you'll be welcomed bc the whole place smells of fresh brewed coffee. The service was good even tho it was busy. The food was also good but nothing special. The drinks were amazing tho! read more

Third time here and still amazing! Got a dip, wings, a pizza, and a sandwich. Everything was delicious. Can't say enough about the service, we loved our server! And my ginger chai latte was amazing. 2 complaints: first, the sandwich was hard to eat, I made a mess. And the other complaint, it's not close enough to my house! Open one is NJ! Please! read more

I was very disappointed by this place especially after Google said it wa stop 50 Hudson restaurants to try! Food: everything we ordered had a very off flavor! The pork sliders were extremely sweet. The pesto chicken wrap was extremely dry, there was no pesto, the spinach tasted like frozen spinach, and the tortilla wrap was really not good! The veggie quesadilla was way too cheesy. We stopped for brunch during a visit to the area one sunny Saturday. We ordered the ricotta pancakes and the fried chicken sandwich to share. The pancakes were good but not amazing. The chicken sandwich, however, was impressive and packed with complementary ingredients. I appreciated the extra dimension of flavor provided by the picked jalapeño, in particular. Fries were nice and crispy. I had higher hopes for the coffee, which was also good but not great. I tried their version of a Vietnamese coffee, which was really just an extra sweet iced latte. After a long work day, my colleague and I enjoyed patio dinner. We started with the buffalo baked cauliflower, which was delicious and just 6-7 pieces (to be expected from the "small plates" menu). She had the blackberry basil lemonade and I had the lavender lemonade. We both agreed that mine was better. The lavender wasn't overpowering. The blackberry made the lemonade even more tart and you couldn't really taste the basil. Then, she orders the flank steak salad special and I got the Orechiette Rustichie. Her steak was well seasoned and she said the salsa was a great dressing - not too spicy but really flavorful. My pasta was delicious but I wasn't expecting the sauce to be so soupy. The portions are generous and both of us had plenty leftover. We finished with the ice cream cookie sandwich, which was excellent too. While in town, we're now going to make a point of going over to Goshen to visit the Trailside Treats Creamery (where they source their ice cream). Service was a little slow but they were unusually busy for a Monday night and we were enjoying the great weather on the patio so we didn't mind. All of the staff were super friendly and apologetic when we had to wait. I'd definitely recommend them. Be aware that the restaurant isn't huge so seating may be limited if they get busy. read more

We came to this establishment at random for brunch. As we entered the atmosphere, it gave a country like feel with a beautiful wooden interior. We were skeptical about the food but it was a HUGE surprise on how good it is. We ordered the waffles and the egg white omelette. The food was not only pretty but was probably one of the best breakfast spots we have ever been to. The coffee and teas are amazing. We ordered the white mocha matcha tea and it lived up to its beauty. The service was friendly and the hosts were really attentive. You can tell the chef puts their love with every dish. Not sure if this is a hidden gem but it is really a gem and one of the betteplaces to eat at. I don't normally give 5 stars but this was the best random spots I've ever stumbled upon. read more

The food and coffee was great. Our server was a real expert. She made the experience so good and made sure we took advantage of what Copperbarn had to offer. Had a gluten free bacon egg and cheese that was fantastic. The place is very nice inside. Great decor. read more
