    Black iced coffee

I stopped in for a black iced coffee to go. It was above average. A bit of a berry flavor, which probably means it was a blend with some African beans. They also have food. There were a decent number of people eating there. Service was good. Four Stars

I discovered this spot while out running errands in Middletown. The inside is so rustic and comfy. The waitress was so lovely and helpful and my food came out fast. The Brioche French Toast is my top fav, stuffed with bananas and pecans, there is enough to take home!

In Middletown area again looking for a decent breakfast and of course went to Copperbarn. Tasty coffees, i had a chai latte with almond milk, yum!! We dreamed of egg/turkey bacon sandwiches on gluten free toast, and they made them for us! Food takes a while to come out but it's always fresh! Kind folks!

My husband chose the today's catch of artic char (?) with veggies and cous cous and i chose the fediccini and alfredo. when i tell you the love and quality put in that food, it makes me wanna cry

Came here for brunch on Saturday & utterly in love with this place. Quick & attentive & utterly delicious food. Never felt rushed & plenty of traffic coming & going. Can't wait to return...

Surf and turf burger with Caesar salad

Service was excellent the waitresses here are so friendly and polite, explained all specials like pros when asked. Plus despite them have largely decreased business because of the annoying road work basically blocking people from getting to them, they remained positive. For the food, I loved the seven layer dip, only thing I wish was for more crab since all the other layers were pretty generous, plus actual fresh made tortilla chips, I don't even get those in a Mexican restaurant must less a bar/cafe restaurant. Blackberry basil lemonade was awesome, not too sweet or water-downed. For surf and turf burger, the patty was cooked perfectly to medium and well seasoned, the shrimp patty I could say really could not taste the shrimp, it was very herbal. Other than that a pretty good burger. Caesar salad was great, well dressed and fresh tasting. Honestly part of me liked the salad more than burger, since I did fully finish it. It was worth the maze of side streets to reach them.

Always love my visit here. The staff are extra helpful, friendly and you can expect great service. The ambiance is a cute cafe with indoor and patio seating which was perfect on this day of dining. We decided to split the 5 layer crab dip and then got the Cobb salad and fish tacos with their lemonade. The lemonade was phenomenal. You could tell it's fresh made. No artifical flavor. One of main reason why I like this place. The dip was filling and had multiple layers of flavor. My sister especially like their chips that came with the dip. The food came and overall the salad was tasty. I liked my tacos but wished it had more seasoning. To me it's was on the bland side. I would say this is not one of my favorites. Probably have to come back here again on the weekend for their brunch. Overall, a great spot to chat up with a friend, small get together or a self date.

Traveling for work, you tend to miss being home. I walked into this place for the first time and it felt very familiar like home. Greeted and welcomed by Jen was just the beginning of a wonderful dining experience. The food, the service, and the overall ambiance of the place was fantastic! I can't wait until I'm in town again to come back.

Came for lunch on a Friday (no wait for the three of us) and had a great meal here. California club with Caesar salad was really good. Definitely one of the best options for lunch in the area!

Me and my wife had been in the area and searched Local breakfast places and this place came up. Food was amazing. We had been recommended this chicken BLT and it was incredible! Kelly the host/server was so kind and well informed of all the goodies on the menu! Hands down I'll be back here.

We came in on a Wednesday around 11:15 looking for coffee - and not a Dunkin'/starbucks-while our car was at Sam's club getting new tires. This restaurant is very classy with a nice bar area and cute tables throughout even a mezzanine area with a few tables. It has large selection of coffee....and food. (Wine and beer available too). Our server was very kind, friendly and helpful. We ordered a latte and cappuccino with a bagel and English muffin. The coffees....luscious! Bagel/English muffin...they were good too!!

This is such a wonderful spot-I only wish I lived closer! The brunch food was great (lightest blueberry ricotta panacakes & delish Copperbarn Omelette) and the DRINKS are amazing! We had a Bellini flight, homemade chai tea & a great latte, not to mention they have homemade iced tea & lemonade. Our waitress was also fantastic-be sure to ask for suggestions! Loved the super cute Easter tree!!

Third time here and still amazing! Got a dip, wings, a pizza, and a sandwich. Everything was delicious. Can't say enough about the service, we loved our server! And my ginger chai latte was amazing. 2 complaints: first, the sandwich was hard to eat, I made a mess. And the other complaint, it's not close enough to my house! Open one is NJ! Please!

The server was very nice, the guys hanging at the bar left a little to be desired lol but it is what it is. I got the French Onion soup, very tasty and the buffalo wings, they were large not tiny like some places and very juicy. My sister got a burger and said it was good and the fries were good not like those that stick together, the good kind. We went early evening on a Monday so it wasn't busy but I'm sure when they do events it probably gets packed as the dining area is small.

If you're coming here to eat, though, read on. I was part of a 16-set whose reservations were made *three* days earlier for 11 a.m., when the Switch opens for brunch on Saturday mornings. About 14 of us showed up. When we entered, we were told we had the back space all to ourselves ... only to find the tables had not been arranged for such a large group. We helped the staff, which is to say one of the attractive young women probably among those mentioned by name in many of the other reviews, put them together--by which it would be more accurate to say we did it for her. Said waitress was the *only* person working the *entire* front ... there were a few other people near the bar. And none of the cute barmaids. This young woman had to do *all* the waitservice *and* all the bartending. There is absolutely no excuse for letting this much service fall on the head of a single staffer with this much advance notice. They had *three days' notice* that they'd have a big table at Saturday's open. That's more than enough time to get someone else to come to work. That they did not suggests that someone was too busy writing emoji-laden one-word responses to Google Reviews to let this be brought to his attention, or that it was and he didn't care because he needs a little help making this month's boat payment. If this had been the only problem, I'd have left a generally favorable review. But instead, it got worse. A friend in the group who has plenty of restaurant experience themselves and noticed these same deficiencies ordered some iced tea with his breakfast--only to be told there was none available. Uh, OK ... these things happen. Immediately afterwards, I ordered coffee. A few minutes later our cute barmaid returned, and said with some evident surprise that ... there wasn't any. Really? On a Saturday morning when you advertise and serve an extensive brunch menu, you have somehow forgotten to restock something so basic? This is Restaurant 101. As my omelet was being prepared (it was good ... the food is the only thing that got a star here), the same cute barmaid came bouncing out to inform me that ... there was no whole wheat bread to toast for the side I had ordered. Would white be OK? Yes. But I was beginning to feel like the Switch's business model was the cheese shop in the Monty Python sketch, and did something I would never have imagined myself doing before: announced loudly that that would mean another star off the Google Review. I guess Mr. Owner was too busy keeping up on *his* strategy of responding to every single review in order to intimidate people from posting what might be more generally bad experiences from which lessons might be learned to actually check his stocks, much less order more (However, maybe there's an upside to this ... if people want to shoot each other in the future, there won't be any bullets available). And while this experience was not the fault of the cute barmaid, who I should say I still tipped (albeit modestly), since she was indeed polite and charming and (importantly) apologetic the whole time, especially again given that she had to do all the front-end work by herself, she did make one significant error my restaurant-veteran friend noticed. Another of our number had his drink delivered without the lemon wedge that was supposed to be in it. She (yet again) apologized, and came back with several lemon wedges to choose from ... held in *her bare hands* when they should have been in a bowl or on a plate. This is an actionable health-code violation, and the only reason I'm reporting it here rather than to Goshen is that, for all the aforementioned reasons, I don't want her to get into trouble and get fired. When I told my wife about all this, she said that a) she would have stormed out and gone to Dunkin' Donuts (which, for her, is saying something) when the coffee wasn't available and b) $14 for even a well-made omelet was way too much given this display of incompetence. So, Mr. Owner, if this the "trying our best" you bragged about in your response to one of your other dissatisfied customers (and FWIW it seems like those reviews have become more common in the last year or so), you are falling far short. As Yoda told Luke, "do, or do not ... there is no try". Maybe you should consider hiring someone to actually run the house and just limit yourself to being the social-media manager you have clearly always wanted to be. The Switch Inn? It should be Asleep at the Switch Inn!

After that, her attitude noticeably changed. When we tried to place our food order, she was rude and seemed irritated. To make matters worse, when I attempted to redeem points I had accumulated, she couldn't get it to work and told me to contact headquarters. So I was excited when we finally got a chance to try it. And here is where it may have been my fault, maybe I hyped it up too much. So the funny thing when we arrived at the restaurant and I saw another friend. She told me it was her first time and it wasn't good (this was a warning!) she said especially the chicken and waffles. So again maybe it's my fault because I didn't listen. My heart was set on the chicken and waffles and she was right. It was not good. Like how do you mess up chicken and waffles? It was lacking all types of flavor. It was bad. Why 3 stars than? Because their Spicy Pork Congee was amazing! It's an Asian rice dish and everything that lacked flavor in the chicken and waffles was made up in this dish. The problem? This is only an appetizer. It needs to be an entree, which would mean making it a larger portion. It was fantastic! They also had a decent beer selection which we got. The inside of the restaurant is cute. It has so much potential I just think maybe a revamp of the recipes. But maybe another dish would be good. We came for brunch so I don't know how their dinner menu is. I will probably give them another chance because how amazing the congee was I know they have potential to be great.
