This place is in the back of a small shopping center that I never noticed even living in town for a while. I tried it out and fell in love instantly. If you love Mac and cheese, you will love this place since you have the ability to add your favorite foods to it..eve lobster! The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. This place is a great spin on a classic of Max and cheese. We absolutely love going here when we are craving your feel good food. They even have great salads if not everyone is up for Mac and cheese. I will say that most of our experiences here have been great but the past few times it feels like they have reduced their portion sizes. I normally love the grilled chicken balsamic salad. It comes with great protein and a perfect spin on your mozzarella grape tomatoes and balsamic dressing. But coming back to smaller portions the salads have been coming with less and less grilled chicken. I don't even think it had 1/16th of a chicken breast tonight. They normally come in a tiny bite sized pieces which I enjoy but I don't even think I had more than ten little bite sized pieces which pieces. And tonight I didn't even have my fresh mozzarella that comes with the salad. Unfortunately I wasn't the only one who's meal was a lot smaller than normal. I really hope that they go back to their original sized portions with all the toppings that are in the description. They're still worth giving a try if you're a Mac and cheese lover. read more

OMG, we love this place! Small & cute restaurant doing mostly carryout food (either hot & ready or for heating at home later!). Dozens of specialty flavors of mac & cheese, some other cool apps, cool variety of bottled and canned drinks already chilled. Service fast & with a smile. A real hole in the wall, we would never have noticed this restaurant (as visitors from out of town) if it weren't for Yelp. So glad we searched around for good local food--this place is a casual food gem. We ordered one chicken marsala and one spinach & artichoke and pulled several teas from the fridge to take back to our hotel. We happily accepted the crunchy breadcrumb topping as the order was completed. Each mac & cheese was neatly packaged in a foil container in case it needed reheating later. No reheating was necessary--our mac & cheese was still perfectly hot & gooey! We loved both. I came to pick up my food, but I believe they're on one of the food delivery apps. The food comes in an aluminum foil personal pan size tray. It was plenty big enough for me to make two meals out of it. If you are picking up, there's a 5% discount if you pay with cash. Definitely highly suggested. To be honest it depends what type of food you like. I've always wanted to try mix and Mac and they make a variety of different mac and cheeses for you. Yet all of the flavors I had I just didn't like. Me and my boyfriend got literally 4 different flavors. I managed to eat one but felt blehhhh after because it just wasn't my cup of tea. The presentation and how they serve the Mac's in the little dishes are well plated and beautiful for pictures. As far as the taste just wasn't my favorite and that's just on me I'm not a huge Mac and cheese eater UNLESS it's southern baked Mac or black people Mac because I make a hella of baked Mac and cheese. Two of us walked in to dine in for lunch - about 1 pm- before we went shopping. You are able to take out too. There's only 4 or 5 tables. We were a second group to sit at the tables. It was cool to watch them work and cook our food. Food came out in approximately 15 minutes. We picked up our food from the pick up window. The mac and cheese had a nice cheesy bready crust on top with a creamy cheesy center and base. I love the variety at Mix N Mac. My favorite is definitely the classic American Mac. This visit I had gotten the buffalo chicken Mac. It was delicious and I asked for extra cheese sauce. Gorgonzola cheese is not really my thing so next time so will ask for it without. I still ate it all even though I wasn't a fan of the cheese. The entire store is basically MAC n CHEESE GALORE, they do offer salads, one dessert (smores churro's), and mac balls (which are basically fried mac n cheese, that they can smother with sauces) Food: VARIETY, VARIETY, VARIETY. I honestly wished I looked at the menu before hand, because when I went into the store I had no clue what I wanted! They have a set menu (mac n cheese combos that are always available) and a specials menu. For example some of the combos they are chicken parmesan, to shrimp alfredo, to chicken n waffles, to mango habanero. They make these all fresh when you make the order. I had ordered the mango habanero, and added pulled pork to it. THIS was DELICIOUS! Not as spicy as they claimed but still had a lil kick to it. My ONLY complaint would/will be is that I wish my mac n cheese was baked a little bit more, it tasted very cheese saucy and the sauce didn't seem baked into the pasta as much, but the cheese pull is picture worthy! We enjoyed the saucy cheese balls a lot but the actual mac n cheese dishes were too dry for me. The mac had a lot of melted shredded cheese on top, but there wasn't enough sauce in the macaroni so it was like eating globs of dry cheese, which gets old after a few bites. I love the concept of mixing in flavors and ingredients, but I think this place needs to work on their cheese sauce recipe and the consistency of the mac n cheese instead of piling on shredded cheese to make the macaroni sauce. read more
