For a place which is solely dedicated to making Mac and cheese, I am highly disappointed due to how lack luster the food actually was. In addition I decided to last minute to add chicken to the dish and I'm glad that I did because the steak in the Mac and cheese were basically microscopic, it wasn't until I was reaching the end of the meal where I discovered the little slither of steak the meal had in it. The store itself constricts itself as well where in the digital menu it states the meal comes along with Gouda cheese in it, however in the store front Gouda cheese is no where to be found. The place is small but it is mighty in flavor. There are a few seats but not for an extra long party. They have a bunch of sizes for serving. They had kids sizes too. They had everything you could think of in terms of combinations. They can make any msc and cheese gluten-free. read more

Another amazing find for 2024, my only regret is that I don't live closer! This casual and small restaurant offers over 40 different items, and it was so hard for me to choose what I wanted. Thankfully, the owner was helpful, giving us a rundown of the top items and making great suggestions. They even offer gluten-free mac, which gets an A+ in my book. I went with the pesto mac, and it was absolutely incredible--you can't beat the price for the portion size. I got three meals out of it! This place is a great spin on a classic of Max and cheese. We absolutely love going here when we are craving your feel good food. They even have great salads if not everyone is up for Mac and cheese. I will say that most of our experiences here have been great but the past few times it feels like they have reduced their portion sizes. I normally love the grilled chicken balsamic salad. It comes with great protein and a perfect spin on your mozzarella grape tomatoes and balsamic dressing. But coming back to smaller portions the salads have been coming with less and less grilled chicken. I don't even think it had 1/16th of a chicken breast tonight. They normally come in a tiny bite sized pieces which I enjoy but I don't even think I had more than ten little bite sized pieces which pieces. And tonight I didn't even have my fresh mozzarella that comes with the salad. Unfortunately I wasn't the only one who's meal was a lot smaller than normal. A real hole in the wall, we would never have noticed this restaurant (as visitors from out of town) if it weren't for Yelp. So glad we searched around for good local food--this place is a casual food gem. We ordered one chicken marsala and one spinach & artichoke and pulled several teas from the fridge to take back to our hotel. We happily accepted the crunchy breadcrumb topping as the order was completed. Each mac & cheese was neatly packaged in a foil container in case it needed reheating later. No reheating was necessary--our mac & cheese was still perfectly hot & gooey! We loved both. I came to pick up my food, but I believe they're on one of the food delivery apps. The food comes in an aluminum foil personal pan size tray. It was plenty big enough for me to make two meals out of it. If you are picking up, there's a 5% discount if you pay with cash. Definitely highly suggested. Two of us walked in to dine in for lunch - about 1 pm- before we went shopping. You are able to take out too. There's only 4 or 5 tables. We were a second group to sit at the tables. It was cool to watch them work and cook our food. Food came out in approximately 15 minutes. We picked up our food from the pick up window. The mac and cheese had a nice cheesy bready crust on top with a creamy cheesy center and base. I honestly wished I looked at the menu before hand, because when I went into the store I had no clue what I wanted! They have a set menu (mac n cheese combos that are always available) and a specials menu. We enjoyed the saucy cheese balls a lot but the actual mac n cheese dishes were too dry for me. The mac had a lot of melted shredded cheese on top, but there wasn't enough sauce in the macaroni so it was like eating globs of dry cheese, which gets old after a few bites.
