    The Classic Mac'

Awesome decor, helpful service, and amazing mac and cheese! I was pleasantly surprised and I plan on returning to try their other dishes soon.

The burger was amazing. And those truffle fries made for a perfect side.

Staggeringly yummy. It's that simple. The food and the service were both extraordinary. A+.

    Beet Booster Salad

I saw the IG pics and I wanted to try it. I did see some bad reviews but the pics looked solid so I was convinced it would be decent. Man was I wrong. Great pics, not great food. We tried a beet booster salad, sweet potato fries, gyro fries, wings with house coconut sauce and truffle Mac. Some stuff was bland but ok, other items were painfully inedible. Most of it wound up in the trash. The beet booster salad looked like poison. The avocado was an alien color, the greens kinda soft and wilted and the beet was just standard canned beet. Sweet potato fries were ehhh, flavor was fine but they were soggy and they forgot our Strada sauce so we didn't get to try the sauce. When we picked them up, we opened them right away and they were a bit soggy right away. Gyro fries sounded awesome but the tzatziki was flavorless and thin, it didn't have chopped herbs or cucumber in it there was like no gyro meat, just a few little sprinkler bits and lots of lettuce, tomatoes and peppers. The fries were ok at the edges but super soggy in the middle. The takeout container didnt have the fry holes popped open so that probably didn't help. The wings were super wet and soggy, the coconut sauce is maybe like salad dressing? It made the wings not crispy and the flavor was not appealing and I usually like coconut. There was no heat, too much sweet and bad texture. Finally the truffle Mac was the most liked thing but it was just ok, really thin sauce, lots of truffle oil, maybe 5 mushrooms but we ate more of this than any other dish. When I arrived to pick the order up, they had forgotten the truffle Mac, the hostess did a truly fantastic job to get one made up super quick and discounted my order. They were very nice and accommodating about their mistake. I really wanted to like this place based on the menu descriptions and pictures but the actual food is not worth going back for I'm sorry to say. The second star is literally because they did a truly great job fixing a mistake and were at least very nice about it. I hope it gets better in the future.

    Steak and Eggs Breakfast

Got a table while I waited for server. The server was very nice and polite, but I feel bad, they are noticeably very short staffed there. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast, after a bit of wait, it finally came. Fried eggs were alright, steak was tender and juicy, but a bit under seasoned. Seasoned home fries were great, well seasoned, tender and the onions were lightly caramelized . Healthy grain toast with butter was very good, lightly toasted and more then just a smear of butter. I enjoyed the meal overall, and want to try a lunch there next time

Huge portions! Hidden gem. If you haven't tried go NOW! Oat bowls custom sandwich's salads!

I will definitely be returning. The staff are so polite and helpful and the food was amazing. I got the porky Mac and cheese and it was more than what I expected. The portion was huge and it was delicious. I'm picky with my Mac and cheese, but Strada grill is on point. It was so cheesy and the pulled pork and bacon were cooked perfectly. My friend got the Hawaiian burger and enjoyed that as well. I can't wait to try more items in their menu.

But, we've heard such great things about this place, so, we figured we'd give it another shot. Ordered a late lunch this afternoon- Clams were outstanding! Meatballs- yum! The garlic knots, though? They were spot on delicious and we literally inhaled them. Also had a couple of BYO chicken cutlet hero's- Excellent help over the phone and the delivery person was extremely pleasant and super polite. Can't wait to fall in love with this place!

In the words of my fiancé, "best pizza I've had in 5 years," and this is a lot coming from him as…read moreI've learned he's one of the biggest pizza snobs I've ever met. We completely stumbled upon this place by chance in search of pizza while traveling on the road. First, it's pretty much right off the interstate so it was super quick and easy to get to for those also looking for quick food stops that aren't fast food. Side note, we called 20 min ahead and got gas right off the exit beforehand and we arrived in perfect time as our pizza had just come out of the oven (so anticipate about a 25 min ready time). Second, and I can't emphasize this enough, the gentleman we spoke to behind the counter was the friendliest, most welcoming person. We presume him to be the owner? Maybe? But I was truly enamored by the pride he took in the pizza and after asking if we'd like to see it (which how can you say no to that?) he revealed it in an almost ceremonious fashion, and boy it did not disappoint. It was a work of art (my photo does not do it justice, as in this case the phone did not eat first). Even though our plan was to eat on the road, we decided to have a slice (which turned into two, then three) in the charming, very clean, pizza parlor. And finally, the pizza? Chef's kiss out of this world. THIS is what we call amoré. One bite, everyone knows the rules, this was a very solid 9.3. My biggest complaint with pizza is that they're typically too oily and give me the worst heart burn but this wasn't even close to oily, and thirty minutes later, this is settling very well--no heart burn, upset stomach, or feeling gross. The owner said it's all fresh ingredients and my body is feeling the difference. Could not recommend this place enough and we will most certainly add this as a regular stop when passing through!

This will be a long review because we ended up coming here three times during our stay! Upon arriving, the decor was pretty good! Had great PR theme! Based on the menu, it was a Jamaican and PR fusion! We also noticed trophies in front of the window of best empanadas and also 2nd place for best empanadas! We were greeted by the owner who was funny and welcoming! As part of the first visit, we ordered a few empanadas; chick pea, vegan chicken, vegan bbq beef, vegan chorizo, and guava with cream cheese! They were all amazing! So good that my girlfriend and I decided to come back for dinner the same day for dinner! When we came back, the owner was happy to see us again! We ordered the Latin grill chicken asada with rice and beans, and vegan meatballs with rice and beans! Both plates were full of flavor! The chicken had a very nice spice to eat! The next day, I came alone while my girlfriend was attending a course and ordered the breakfast special which was three eggs with sausage and cheese on a roll! The owner hooked up the sandwich by adding an extra sausage to the sandwich! This meal came with a free coffee and only cost $4.50! A sandwich like this back in NYC would've cost me easily $20! This deal was great! I ended up ordering empanadas to take home for my girlfriend since she loved them! Our experience does not compare to any of the experiences we had before! The owner is a great man with a good heart! He shared his stories growing up in the Bronx and living in Newburgh for the last 25 years! He explained how his business was booming before then went through difficulties due to disloyal staff and bad cooking! He has been working everyday for the last 6 months building his business back to where it was before all the issues! For a man to work everyday and still have the patience and dedication to his brand shows what a lot of places have been missing! If you are in the Newburgh area or visiting the area, I highly recommend coming to this place! Show some love to an owner dedicated to his passion and commitment!

They have propane heaters that are warm but because of the wind, your head was hot, and your legs were freezing. We ordered the French toast with side orders. My wife had the side of bacon, $4.50 which was 1-1/2 pieces of bacon...... that's right, 1-1/2 pieces of bacon for $4.50. She also got an order of home fries $4.95 and again was like a half potato. Now I have to be honest, I might have the two side order prices mixed up, but either way it's still not worth it. I had the sausage as a side order, and what I got was an actual McDonald's sausage patty, also up there in price however I won't write how much because I'm not sure I don't remember. My wife got a hot chocolate that was basically brown water. Total of the bill, $47.00 and I gave an $8 tip. Oh. They only accept cash. All this mixed with the wind coming in the tent and cooling our food off rapidly made for a crappy experience. I guess my biggest gripe would be is the sides. The place is kind of funky and cool, but for the money, I would certainly not go back again. This is a one and done!
