We have been at this cafe many times. The last time we were eating lunch when a person came in and opened the cookie jar with his hands and scooped out cookies. we told the person behind the counter but was told this is ok.Especially during this time of being concerned about germs and just common courtesy this is not only unacceptable clean practices but pretty disgusting. Those jars and other things out in the open should be held behind the counter and properly handled with sanity procedures. read more

Stopped here on our way back from bethel woods. We had the bec on a croissant, the avocado blt and the quiche. All were delicious. Took home some yummy pastries. The cafe has a cool atmosphere, it's clean and comfortable and makes you want to stay a while. The service was friendly and helpful. Worth a try! read more

passing through here to get breakfast, love the old farm vibe inside the place and fresh and homemade items. The counter girl was very friendly and patient while I was taking my time to decide on my order and viewing all pastries as well. So settled on the fresh homemade lemonade and egg cheese and bacon. The lemonade was really homemade lightly sweetened and not overly sour taste as well, very comforting. The breakfast sandwich was interesting, since it was on a croissant panini pressed, and eggs were well seasoned with melty cheese. now the pastries, the thing that looked like a bear claw was great, it was filled with Nutella and man was it light and sweet. White macadamia cookie was okay, it was kind of dry. now the cherry almond bar was sweet and yummy, wish had more cherry filling otherwise awesome. sweet cafe here and very peaceful here having a meal. read more

Found this little cafe while looking for a bakery which was closed. Not disappointed though. I found this little treasure! Got a piece of berry pie, and a scone, both gluten free. Not going to lie, I had to try it before getting it home. I had a some of the crust with a couple of berries and a corner of the scone. Oh my word! Both are delicious. Along with a matcha late. Love these little unexpected finds. Small business owners seem to put more love into what they make over commercial stores. This is so so so much better!! This is a great spot if you find yourself in Montgomery. The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious. I had some time to kill in Montgomery and came across this spot. Sat and had coffee while I caught up on some work. My time there rolled into lunchtime so I ordered the classic chicken salad sandwich and it really hit the spot. Hidden treasure in a wonderful historic town. My wife and I enjoyed the delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches, almost as much as the conversation with the owner. He is a wonderful conversationalist and attentive to service our entire visit. It was as if we were talking to a life long friend. Thai place has the best roast beans I've had in NY hands down! I ran out and tried switching to a differentorganic roast and my mornings were ruined. And they have Gluten-Free baked goods and sandwiches! and I've never gotten sick from the food (I'm celiac this is a big deal). the owner is the nicest guy and is from Italy and they make their own legit pestos and things. love this place so much read more

Lovely little cafe to stop in for breakfast and coffee. It's not a quick stop, though. Parking is kind of a pain as it's street parking or a small lot off to the right hand side of the building. Either way you're walking a little and need to be aware of the weather. Many of the drinks are handmade, so you also need to allow time for that. The baked goods are really good as are the breakfast wraps. Have t been here for lunch yet, just brekkie. The coffee and coffee/espresso drinks are well made, and you can buy bags of their roasted coffee beans. Not many places to sit for a leisurely meal. Most patrons are of the grab and go variety. Staff is friendly even in the early hours of the day They don't always have items listed on the menu depending on when you stop by, especially later in the day as things like baked goods are sold. Would love to see them prosper and move to a larger location in town that allowed for more seating and waiting area. read more
