Yummy NY bagels! Super soft and delicious! You can order ahead too which is a huge plus. Such a great spot if you want your bagel fix.

The bagels here are solid and NYC-authentic, but also unexceptional. Didn't try sandwiches but NYC deli-style seems to be the way to go from what I can tell. read more

Great bagels! Great food. Good service. Nice and quick inside, small eat in area. Cream cheese and lox is my fav. read more

Ordered an everything bagel toasted bacon egg cheese, they were fast and the food was great.

Just moved up here about a year ago and me and my wife wanted to try different establishments so we went to blazing bagels from the moment we walked in we felt at home the staff was great and very helpful. And what made it great for me was to be able to get my salt bagel which difficult to get in certain parts of the Bronx . This is my go to spot for breakfast!!! read more

came in for breakfast, staff was pretty busy and was noticed after a while, I ordered The Barracuda, without red onions. My everything bagel was toasted very well, not overdone or underdone, smoked salmon was plied high and very generous since usually places are very cheap with slices. green onion cream cheese was great. Had a cinnamon apple muffin too, muffin was most and moist, but I got say the crumb topping was more of crumble then large crumb topping. got to say this place finally give me a lox bagel and I did not feel ripped off with the portion. read more

extremely rude & beyond unprofessional. the man in there with ginger hair has some vendetta against paying customers where he repeatedly doesn't listen to what you order. i wouldn't waste your time when there's so many better places who will actually take their time to get your order right and not make you feel like an inconvenience. read more

Tried their bagels and they were almost worse than the bagels I can buy in the grocery store. Hard bagels with an odd texture and flavor . Would not waste my money here. read more

Small bagel place in Montgomery. Close to the highway/84... Close to Maybrook. Stumbled upon it one day. One of our favorite in the area and will actually go out of our way to get there. We have several closer to us, but these bagels are absolutely delicious. Shop is usually very busy. It's on the small side, so be prepared for a little bit of a line on busy hours/days. Well worth the wait. What makes one bagel better than another? I guess it depends on how you like your bagel, lol. Give them a shot. Our family absolutely loves them. read more

This would be my second time. I forgot to write a review the first time. Because the bagel was so GOOD I forgot to take a picture. And I just knew I was going to come back. I'm a truck driver so it's places like these that warms my heart, soul, and tummy The service is very welcoming. Everyone looks happy to be there! read more

Blazing bagels in Montgomery ny is the best bagel store that consistently makes awesome sandwiches.

"Holy Bagels Batman!" I haven't hit a really good bagel spot in a while. Yea, being from NYC you'd think I'm having amazing bagels all the time but the hustle and bustle of NYC life just has me too busy to savor a NYC bagel but Blazing Bagels filled that void although the irony is I didn't exactly order a bagel. I stopped in this weekend for a lite breakfast and ordered a BaconEggAndCheeseOnARoll! Yea, being from NYC my order basically sounded like one word yet they nailed my order right. Bagel my smoking hot Italian babe ordered looked super yummy too. The space has a few tables so you can grab a seat to enjoy ya grub. Coffee is self serve although I wish they had garnishments on the side (e.g. ketchup, salt, pepper) for customers because I would have loved to douse my egg sandwich with a crap load of pepper. Overall I really like this spot and if I'm in the immediate area again I'd certainly stop in again. read more

I live in MN and apparently the Midwest really hasn't figured out bagel technology. Bagels are just better in NY, not really sure how that happens but WOW.... Just better. I was recently staying nearby for a couple of days (where I come from a couple means anywhere from 2-5, I know you Eastern people think that means 2 and only 2) and had breakfast here 3 consecutive days. I had a barracuda on an egg everything bagel twice and would gladly eat that every day of my life and the third day I got the brisket egg and cheese. The barracuda has this scallion cream cheese which is really awesome and the red onions are perfectly thin sliced and I think treated in a little salt to pull out the sweetness, generally I hate red onions but this was a great sandwich. The brisket with a bourbon sauce was out of this world insanely tender and just full of flavor. We even had three plain bagels wrapped in foil and brought home. 2 days later toasted and they were still fantastic. I saw a few reviews of the place on Google that said that this place wasn't covid compliant and that they were rude. Firstly, if that's the case I'm glad they weren't and went on with their lives and did their business also, rude? Come on.... Staff was very kind and helpful. Loved this place and when I'm in the area again I'll gladly go back. read more

Great food, service and atmosphere. Everyone at Blazing Bagels is like family. Janice is a great owner and looks out for her customers

Decent chew to the bagel. Ordered 3 lightly toasted. Their jalapeño bagel was flavorful. The garlic was nice. Their everything bagel was lacking flavor. Cream cheese was expensive and barely any on bagel. . Butter was sparsely put on. Older guy picking them out of rack and buttering them wasn't very friendly think he is the owner. A little pricy for their drinks. Younger guy on the cash register was nice and friendly. Over $16 for 3 bagels and 3 chocolate milks. read more

Love this spot heard about it on the radio stopped in and have kept coming in for the last few weeks. Nice place to grab a bagel on the run. Hole in the wall gem that you could miss if you weren't looking for it. Barracuda is great, Meatlovers is delicious and the bagel selection is on point. Love the everything bagel and the jalapeño the garlic is delicious as well. You won't be disappointed if your looking for a bagel shop here it is. read more

Here comes a very mixed review...! The good: fiancé says the bagels are very good. I havent tried one but i probably wont in the near future. I've had a blt from here a couple times and it was decent. The bad: the "deli" sandwiches and customer service. Made the mistake of ordering turkey sandwiches and boyyyy did i pay the price. Turkey was thick and SLIMY and made me feel ill. The customer service is kinda a joke considering when i called to confirm they make sandwiches, i was hung up on. Dont know why i proceeded to come to the store and place my order, should have went somewhere else. Bye blazing bagels! read more

An unsolicited 5$ discount was send to our personal email. The order was called in. The pickup led to two rep's 'I'll be rit w. you' ... followed by the owner, clutching 2 paper bags. 'He' yells, " do not, and if you ever do again give my people a bad time, etc etc. " I assured him that his hatred was mutual. His lame last screaming statement was "GET OUT OF MY STORE!" Ergo , by calling in to Orange County Bagel shoppe in Goshen, a great , worth being expensive, custom made bagel sandwich was paid for with the owner wishing us a good weekend. By the way BB is taking parttime and weekend new workers! Enjoy hoho. As for being , @ quote above, THREATENED by Blazing Bagels owner. When initially ordering on the phone, a representative informed us that the 7$ bagel sandwich was $1.14. Having heard from us that amount would not be the price for such expensive ingredients, the call segued to a 2nd rep who announced that we were extremely rude and that she was very confused. We agreed with her, their business is a muddle of confusion. By the way, a fact is not rude behavior. The bad behavior is royally displayed by the THREATENING bIG MAN (?) entreprenuer. read more

I use to order from them a lot. Then one day the owner was annoyed with the delivery guy that was dropping off supplies at his business. The delivery guy kept saying "paper wasn't on your invoice, but I brought you some". Then the owner got real rude. He told the delivery guy to get out screaming at him that he's a retard and to take his stuff and get out. If that's how you treat people that try to help YOU run YOUR business by calling them retarded, then I'll get my bagels elsewhere. You don't treat people that way. read more

Bagels are delicious. Although the owners are rude and very greedy for tips. Owner changed my total and added a tip without even asking me first. It's a 5.00 minimum and my purchase was 4.95. I saw him change it in the reflection of the glass. I know it's only a nickel but I don't like when people screw around with my money and especially without asking. Jokes on him because I was going to tip him a dollar but he screwed himself over. If I'm going into this place for a 2.00 Bagel I sure as hell am not giving a 3.00 tip, especially if the owner is going to change my total without asking first. This place would have so much more business if they didn't have tipping minimums. They would also get so much more business if they didn't close at 2pm. Bagels are amazing though. read more

Good boiled bagels. Dense, chewy and fresh. Their bagels seem a little smaller than Ive expected for a standard boiled bagel, but they're definitely good. Great prices and nice staff. Finally, I don't need to travel all the way across town to get a bagel! Bagel shop in Middletown is still the best boiled bagel in town, but this place comes close. read more

Unimpressed with the bagels and selection of bagels. Kind of smallish compared to so many other places. Just blah.

Blazing Bagels has really good bagels. They are the only bagel shop in montgomery that has lox. The bagels here are really good. They are located in a small strip mall. The staff is friendly. They aren't my favorite bagel place in NY but they make really good bagels. They have everything from plain bagels to cinnamon. I do not know if they ave any gluten free options i did not ask. You can order breakfast sandwiches here. You can also get little cartons of chocolate milk like you had in school. The only complaint i had was it took forever for my bacon egg and cheese. I ordered 3 bagles with cream cheese. 1 bagel with lox and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. everything was ready in 4 min except the bacon egg and cheese. It took a good 5 min after i got the bagels to get the egg sandwich. I did go here at 8:30am on a saturday. The store itself was not crowded. Overall. If you are in Montgomery. Stop by Blazing bagels for breakfast you will not be disappointed. PROS: - Good Bagels - Have Lox spread CONS: - egg sandwiches take awhile. especially on weekends read more

Masks not required. I went on 7/14/2020 and 1 employee (of 3) was not wearing a mask and 2 patrons (of 5) were not and were not asked to by the employees. There were also no social distancing marks on the floor or other attempts to keep people separated. Shame really - they have good bagels. But I will not be patronizing a store that does not value my health or the law. read more

I often will stop and grab a bagel after work. I enjoy their bagels, however the customer service is not the best. I'm not sure if they would prefer that I not come to their establishment or what it is. I'm always polite when I order and I always say thank you. I did not know the name of the woman who asked me if I wanted a bag, but she was quite rude to me. I guess it isn't often that they have a person of color visit their establishmen. I don't know why I have put myself through it this many times. If you get an egg sandwich they WILL NOT TOAST THE BAGEL no matter WHAT. If you ask for salt pepper ketchup they will NOT put it on. I have gotten my bagel toasted 1 time because I reminded them 3 times. I've gone through this almost 10 times. I feel like a chump and have more some faith in humanity. Blazing makes the best bagels I've ever had - hands down. I love their scallion cream cheese, and if you're lucky they might also have the roasted garlic cream cheese (savory heaven!).
