my everything bagel with, if you look hard enough you'll see it, cream cheese. Hardly a Schmear we New Yorkers expect on a bagel.
    John E.

The bagels and the shelves are delicious. The service was very friendly although a little disorganized. I went in for two whole wheat bagels one with a scallion cream cheese. There were no whole wheat bagels available yet I had to wait half an hour - mind you this is 9 AM on a Saturday. so I said screw it got a plain bagel much to my partner's disappointment although she did say the bagel was very good. I got an everything with the scallion garlic cream cheese. I've never in my life gotten so little cream cheese on a bagel living in New York. They gave me what you would expect if you go to the Midwest and order a bagel and cream cheese, it's like a thin butter spread. The food was delicious but was $12 after a $2 tip? Oy vey!

You ever have a bagel so good that you had to go back for a second bagel? Well, I've never had to do that UNTIL I tried the rosemary & extra virgin olive oil bagel with fresh scallion & garlic cream cheese from Bagel-ish. We were in Beacon for the day and stumbled upon Bagel-ish when we were walking around. Bagels sounded good for lunch so we decided to stop by and check it out. There's a good variety of sourdough bagels and spreads, although by the time we got there (~2pm) a lot were already sold out. We placed our order and I appreciated that you can customize how much cream cheese you wanted on your bagel. The bagel was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The scallion and garlic spread was so fresh and flavorful and it paired beautifully with the rosemary bagel (be warned: you may have a lingering garlic-y breath after eating this). If we weren't embarking on a long hike right after, we would've gotten some bagels to take home. Can't wait to come back and try out more bagels!

Recently, I have been spending more time visiting my Mothers in Law who moved to Beacon. Already a big fan of most places I've gone to Beacon and came here on a recommendation. I don't say this lightly, either as someone who loves foods, from NYC, and has a lot of opinions on bagels, I was so blown away by these bagels, I will have to restrain myself from just buying a dozen every time I visit. Conveniently on main street and offering free samples when I visited, the menu and the cheery staff made me feel like I was in the right place for a great breakfast. What I was not ready for was how good their jalapeno cheddar bagels were, nor how tasty their turkey egg and cheese was! Next time, I may get a double, but boy was I was so happy with my sandwich. Crunchy outside with that chewy middle and the slight bake did all of the work. I even took a zatar and evoo bagel for the next day and it was just as good if it was fresh the day before. Absolutely crushing the bagel game here and I will readily and happily go back next time I'm in Beacon.

Service prompt and friendly. Bagels absolutely delish. Nice little shop. Some standing room to eat a quick bite.

I love sourdough bagels and the storefront was so cute so I tried a Za'tar Evoo bagel- it was so good! Soft and fresh, and the seasoning was incredible. Didn't get cream cheese, and it didn't need it. Truly so flavorful I ate the entire thing while walking Main Street. Workers are very friendly and welcoming! If I'm ever back in Beacon I would definitely stop here again.

The service was a bit slow, but the owner explained there were a couple of staff out sick for the day. The owner was friendly and sociable. She indicated that it's a strong value of hers not to have sick staff on site, which I can understand and respect. The bagels were so tasty! I really enjoyed my cheddar bagel, which had a nice crunch but was also delightfully doughy inside. My friend got the BEC soufflé, which was made fresh and was delicious! The bagels are made of sourdough and are less likely to cause an insulin spike. The owner explained that she has had folks with CGMs eat her bagels and there is not a spike in glucose.

I had the best experience and the most delicious bagel today absolute perfection! It was so good I ended up buying nine more to take home! The line looked long, but it moved at a reasonable pace and was well worth the wait (and every bite!). The staff was so kind and even handed out samples of bagels to people in line, which was such a nice touch. I got the rosemary bagel with scallion & garlic cream cheese seriously amazing. The space is small but cozy, with great decor and a really nice logo and vibe overall. Can't wait to come back!

Best bagels in my life. My fiancee and I were walking at the Duck Pond in Ridgewood NJ and my fiancee said let's go to Beacon to get those amazing bagels. So we took an hour drive to get these delicious bagels. You will not leave here disappointed if you come. I can guarantee that!!!!

From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. Chris went above and beyond in every way, and the combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made The Beacon Daily one of the highlights of the event weekend. If you're looking for a caterer or lunch provider that truly cares about quality and customer experience, look no further than The Beacon Daily. The steak sandwich was yummy, thinly sliced cuts beef, gooey cheese and well seasoned. The sandwich would been better on roll or crusty bread over a hamburger bun though. It's meat filling was alright, tiny diced but filled the space. The taco sauce though was fire, very savory and well seasoned, almost wish the meat was cooked on the sauce rather than salt and pepper it. Very colorful interior with bar at the end of the space and an outdoor area. There has been quite a few different vendors over the last five years there. There were only 5 different food stalls plus the ice cream stall in the very front, however only 3 of the food stalls were open at 7pm on a Saturday. This is a small town, so I get it, but I was thoroughly surprised at this because of how crowded the entire town had been all weekend (it was truly the perfect weather to be out here!). The taco food stall had some Mac and cheese that I really wanted, but he was so overwhelmed with making a large order with only one person helping him that he literally told me to come back in 30 minutes to place my order. I ended up ordering the Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich from the burger place, where the guy (working solo) told me it would take about 30 minutes before it would be ready. We were in no rush, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! The ooey gooey cheese paired with perfectly browned Texas toast satisfied my hunger after a long day of hiking and window shopping. My husband ordered the Paneer Kati Roll + Mango Lassi from the Indian food stall. He liked the roll, however we both decided that the lassi was average at best. Additionally, they served it with ice which was a huge disappointment (**being that my husband is from India, we have standards regarding Indian food). I'm giving 4 stars because the overall atmosphere of this food hall was not the best... Definitely NOT enough seating... They didn't seem to have anyone on staff taking care of the place, so the two tables that were empty when we arrived were extremely dirty (we cleaned one ourselves). They also didn't have napkins readily available and only 2 individual restrooms, despite having a bar in the back. Also, it was SO DARK inside... Scarce lighting which was not very pleasant or welcoming, especially since the sun was shining brightly outside. There is an outdoor patio, which is great, however because the weather was nice it was completely full. Final thoughts: this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner with a group of friends, especially if no one can agree on where to go. There's a variety of options and something for everyone to enjoy!
