Don't be in a hurry when you come but expect it to be worth the wait. The tacos at the Taco factory (for the most part) are delicious and juicy. We tried all three pork (barbacoa, sweet and roasted), chicken and chorizo. The roasted pork was really dry but the rest were really good. They stuff the tacos so full of meat you could take the second shell off and make a new taco. The service is slow and the place is not much to look at but its a nice hole in the wall Mexican restaurant worth checking out. Walked in and restaurant is clean and has nice music playing. Waitress came out from the back and she said we could sit anywhere so we did. Restaurant was completely empty so we had a lot of options. Waitress brought us some complementary chips and a green salsa or sauce, both were good. We placed our orders and the enchiladas were not bad but I wouldn't order them again. Beans and rice were dry but okay. Service was...okay. She came to our table a grand total of 3 times. I never got the chance to order another drink. The tacos were good. There isn't a single menu item that isn't prepared fresh and delicious. The Gordita's are filling and flavorful. The tacos dorado are fresh and abundantly tasty. The burrito is huge! I can never decide what protein as the chicken, steak and pork all offer such a sensation on the palate. The ambiance is great and it finished its renovation from a year or so ago. There are many Mexican restaurants in the area but this is one of the best in terms of quality, freshness, and authenticity. Delicious tacos and their cemitas (sandwiches) are my favorite. Service is always great, restaurant is clean, and parking usually isn't too much of an issue. Wish prices were a little better but I guess I don't mind too much if the food is good. You get a lot of food for the money. Lots of GF options as well. I had the green shrimp with rice and a side salad as well as the guacamole and chips. I would say the chips were probably my least favorite of everything and the guacamole could use a little more salt but the shrimp was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh and had lots of flavor. read more

So happy to find Vegan tacos! We had vegan tacos and the "street tacos" with pork. Tortilla wraps are handmade, each taco comes with two. All ingredients were super fresh and tasty. Loved the added lime. Happy to pair the meal with Tamarind, would have preferred Tamarind juice over a soda pop with not so good ingredients but overall the meal was 4 stars. Been here a couple times, once before renovation and again after recently. Nice local spot, but Dos Amigos in Bloomingburg is the winner.

If you are craving for an authentic Mexican meal, this is the place to visit. Everything is made to order and the only downside is that it takes a while for them to prepare the food. My favorites are guacamole and hard shell tacos. I just wish they could give the decor a face lift - maybe an update on lighting and wall art. In short get off yelp and go eat here like yesterday! The decision to eat here was influenced by Yelp constant showing me the Ad and seeing the reviews I figured whats the worst that can happen. It is located in proper Middletown away from the mall and fast food spots. It is a store front with decent amount of room and lots of tables. The prices were next to nothing with tacos starting at $1.95 and the bigger plates going up to $20+. As always when i find myself unable to select my default choice is 1 of everything so I did just that. I was not disappointed in the least bit. Soft tacos, hard tacos, and others whose names escape me each and everything was hot, exploding with flavor and GOOD! The Mexican sour cream has such a unique taste compliment with the green hot sauce it made for tasty additions. Needless to say when I was done my only decision left was do I order the same thing again because I just wanted to taste more of this feast. Truth be told the wait is rather long, but as they waiter explained everything is made fresh and once I took my first bite it won back the star I took away for the wait. It was worth it and for all that I ordered plus a drink I paid under $20. Price point, plus good eats, for a new place = 5 stars for me and you should go out of your way to try it. I will say to take someone on a date or just to simply grab a bite to eat this place walking into it is nothing but pleasant. You walk in and you feel the culture in this beautiful establishment. the pictures on the wall down to the furniture simply magnificent. First stop always the bathroom to wash your hands and, of course probably one of the CLEANEST bathrooms I've ever walked into. Once seated Juan brought me over chips that are like no other chip chicharrines I've tasted before they taste very delicious by its self lightly salted, perfect! The wait time for 4 tacos received was probably about 7-10 minutes but once I got to them oh my taste buds were in heaven! Called gorditas I got chicken let me tell you! Taco Factory is for sure a place you visit when you have TIME! We arrived here once before and was seated and ignored for about 15 mins. We were not given any water or chips or anything so we left and settled for something else. We decided we were going to come back another time because we hear great things about their tacos. This time we go and we are seated very quickly and we were given water but again we waited about 15 mins for anything else. We ordered our food and still waited for the chips to come out about 5 mins or so. My daughters Burrito was huge and she enjoyed her food very much. The guacamole was lacking flavor but the chips were really fresh and hot. My niece was accommodated because the only shrimp meals they had were spicy. They were able to give her Mexican style shrimp instead so she can enjoy her meal which was nice. My tacos on the other hand were not my favorite thing and I honestly would only order the Barbacoa ones if we ever return. Oh on a good note their horchata was pretty good.
