If restaurant ratings were solely based on interior, I'd give this place a 5. It's Mexican eye candy! (And be sure to check out the toilet and sink in the women's restroom!) But I'm giving the place a 4 - the food was very good (I got very good shrimp and mushroom enchiladas , my husband had the chicken enchiladas- both served with flavorful beans and rice). But the service was never-present - there seemed to be several servers but it was impossible to flag them down. We stumbled upon this place Friday evening. They have only been in this location for a few months so it wasn't very busy which was great for us. We started with super nachos and Queso derretido con chorizo. They were both great, filled with flavor! For dinner we got enchiladas Guadalajara and flautas. Both were good, the shredded chicken inside both was moist and the sauce that was on the enchiladas was tasty. We also got some tacos on the side two birria, one al pastor and a hard taco with ground beef. The birria were great, the al pastor wasn't my favorite and the hard taco with ground beef was good. I love that they don't use the typical hard taco shells!! For dessert we got flan and churros. Although the the desserts were good the presentation was not. They were both surrounded by mountains of whip cream, chocolate sauce and cherries. Basically turning them into sundaes. Which for me isn't appealing, I would of preferred to be asked if I wanted those things added. Overall the food was good, the service was great but the dessert could be better. read more

I was craving mole. It was very good. Big portion. Took me two days to eat. I just wish they had remembered to give me my four tortillas.

My husband and I decided to stop here for a quick bit to eat and grab some tacos. Too bad we missed out on the lunch specials over all the prices wasn't bad at all. We stopped here for a quick lunch while driving back from a quick shopping trip...were a little hesitant since there aren't a lot of reviews yet but my husband and I both really enjoyed our lunches. For starters they bring you a basket of great chips and really good fresh salsa...not unusual but very good. The chips were warm and fresh. For my lunch I had 2 soft tacos - one chicken and one steak. They're small - street tacos really - but inexpensive too. My husband loves mole sauce so he had the mole enchiladas and loved them. I've passed by this place several times, last night I was able to finally try it and I must say I am pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious, the ambiance great and family friendly. I had the bistek tres compadres, steak wrapped in bacon and topped with a rich creamy sauce, definitely to die for, it might sound overwhelming but it was not at all! The tacos were flavorful, the meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly and the red and green sauces definitely delicious ! Give these guys a try you're gonna want to go back! One would think maybe because it's busy and the cooks have multiple orders but this place had only 1 other customer so I didn't quite understand what was taking so long.
