Hmmm... based off the high reviews, I will have to give this place another chance, but I have to admit that I wasn't impressed at all. I had the chalupa taco that completely dissolved into the chalupa that was soggy and bland. I had to eat it with a fork. The chicken taco needed some grill marks or something in the meat. Too light skinned. The taco was decent but could've been better. Next time I try this place I will try to eat it there to avoid it getting soggy. I've tacos all over the country, some of the best rated spots and this was just different. Great service, nice location, I will return with an update. read more

Great damn tacos - this place is always busy. Open late too. I'm making my way through the menu. Its a great lil' place with fabulous taste.

Friendly establishment (family run?). Wholesome food. Limited on-street parking. Recommended.

Traveling from Vermont to SC. Stayed at Hampton Inn, called, sent text with menu, very friendly. Ordered for two and came to $45. Price was more than fair, food was AMAZING, authentic not over spiced, portion size well above what we expected. Would order again, and will upon our return trip. Very good, I liked the spicy sausage best. The cashier was nice; after I put in my order I asked about the birra and she gave me a sample. Definitely getting that next time. Tacos Pollo Loco truck has the absolute BEST tacos in Orange County. It's super convenient for commuters due to its proximity to the Harriman NJT station. There are a few picnic tables for those who opt to enjoy their tacos outside. When you approach the truck, you can just smell the delicious aroma of their food.... MMM. I've tried almost every one of their tacos, but my favorites are the brisket and al pastor. For those with an adventurous palate, they even have lengua (tongue) tacos. Their tacos are served with sliced radishes on the side, which makes for that perfect crunch. And their red hot sauce is SO GOOD - perfect amount of spice and just packed with flavor. They have a mild green sauce that is delicious too! Service here is quick and friendly. They aren't open 7 days a week, so make sure you call before you take a ride over. So fresh and good! This spot is right off of the highway so if traveling towards the city this may be the spot for you! Everything is made to order and the staff is friendly. There is no indoor seating as this is a food truck but they do have covered outdoor seating right outside of their truck that they have built. My husband was interested in the spot because they had lengua chalupas and he enjoyed it- it was not what he expected but he did like it. I got a shrimp and chicken taco and tostada. I'm from Los Angeles, CA and we have the best mexican food so you can imagine it's been hard to find anything comparable in Monroe but Tacos Pollo Loco reminded me of home. This truck is very authentic. I had a Torta de asada and my partner had the burrito de asada. The salsa is off the charts!! So flavorful and spicy. I loved that they had a sit down area so we got to enjoy our meal underneath an umbrella. It's off the highway which is really convenient for people traveling. We weren't looking for Tacos Pollo Loco but they caught our attention while driving. I can't wait to go back and try more food on the menu. read more

So I drive by this truck pretty often and never tried it until the other day. And I'm very glad I did because the tacos are really good! As far as I can tell, they're pretty fresh too. They're served on authentic tortillas, hot and ready to eat. Oh and they accept credit. I'll def pay this place a visit again. read more

Crazy good food truck in the middle of a suburban NY commuter community. Super fresh everything - we had a variety of tacos (shrimp was voted the fave by two of us), a chicken enchiladas platter and a beef burrito. All eaten with great enthusiasm. The quality of the rice and hot sauces really elevated the simple fare. If you have space, the guacamole and chips also worth it. We ate here on a beautiful sunny March day and sat at one of their picnic tables. read more

Took a day trip to Legoland Resort. Found this amazing food truck. Absolutely scrumptious food!!! My husband, daughter and I ordered torta de milanesa de pollo, my son ordered tacos de bistec, my other son ordered tostada tradicional. Everything was exceptionally good!
